I recently switched from a Canon 5D Mark IV to the OM-5 after shooting and loving the Canon for nearly 7 years. I wanted a smaller system after stopping shooting weddings, real estate, and various events. While the short battery life is a bit hard to get used to, the OM-5 produces such excellent results. I’m surprised at the excellent dynamic range and noise performance. It’s even better than the full-frame system I was using!!
Cheers and keep on shooting! I always feel much happier on days when I’m able to get out and practice more photography. It’s even more rewarding when the light is good! 😀 If you are able, I’d love to see even more pics throughout the vids, as the ones at the end were great!! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much. Really appreciate your kind words and feedback. Would you say put more at the end or more rheoughout the video and end? One thing I am going to do starting in the new year is explain my settings and show in the camera prior to shooting. I've got a video coming out tomorrow but have been bedbound for the last week due to a severe infection, so I doubt I will get out again this year. But loads planned . I've tried a few of the nihon FF. Loved them all my favourite was the Z9 but way out of my price range and too heavy again due to my condition need thee lightweight set up. Always come back to OM SYSTEM does everything and more than I need and with live ND and the ibis is exceptional. Again, thanks for watching all the best for Xmas and a happy new year

@@jpdeardenphotography Greetings again John. Heal up and enjoy the holidays the best that you can! As for placement of the photos during the video - and this is just my own personal preference since there’s clearly no right or wrong way to edit vids - I really enjoy seeing images throughout the video. However, placement also has to have meaning to you and make sense to you. If you come back from an outing and feel that explanation and narrative throughout the video should take precedence before showing photos at the end, then you should definitely do that. If you are out exploring and find yourself excited about all the pics you’re capturing along the way, sprinkling those throughout the vid would also be nice to see.
Take care and get healed up!!

I loved my OM4 35mm film camera which I did my city & guilds photography coarse with. Super detailed and pin sharp pics. I now have a Nikon D700 which I use old prime lenses to deliver again pin sharp images. Good luck my friend and carry on with the Olympus system...I look forward to seeing your work.
