Nice work! What type of chair and table are you using🤓 ? Also how long are your work sessions on projects?
Im just using a regular chair and table. Im using an embroidery hoop for framing up the fabric. The time depends on how complicated and big or the technique of the embroidery, so each project takes a different amount of time to complete
Hi. I was wondering if the metal darkens and you haven't used it yet what are some of the things you can do other than making a goth vintage dress that could restore the shine or take away the blackened stains? Thank you
I haven’t personally had to restore goldwork, but from what i know you can use cream of tartar. Use a very soft tooth brush with a little water and cream of tartar. Keep brushing gently till the shine comes back.
@@OlsjonaEmbroidery Thank you so much for replying. I'll try that out with a few strands and see how it goes.
Which price of this
Can we buy in tamil nadu this type needle
If I’m doing this on a shirt is it machine washable?
No goldwork should not be washed
How thick is your wire when you use the tambour hook. I have 1mm but I need to use a needle for that. And wanted to try tambour hook do you use it with 1,5 mm wire. Thank you.
Im not sure what size the goldwork wire is, but a tambour hook should fit most. I use a 70 hook which is 0.7mm, so it should fit a 1mm wire.
Thank you for your fast response. Mayby I have a bad wire I tried it with one color I will try again then. Thanks 👍🏻
What kind of thread are you using for this works? when you work with metallic beads and rhinestones? Beautiful job!!!
Thank you!! I like to use viscose or rayon thread because its fine and silky. But Fil A Gant threads are also very good for this type of embroidery.
