I say, I know that you're there, so don't be sad. then I put him back, but he's singing a little in there, I haven't quite let him die and we sleep together like that with our secret pact and it's nice enough to make a man weep, but I don't weep, do you?

Without any spoken words, the use of powerful images only is a really challenging creative restriction for a poetry- based short movie... u did a great job! Love this animation, this is maybe my fav poem among all of buk works...i feel every word, in the deep..
Bukowski visited me in the morning today As always ,he was blabbering about himself As to how hard it was for him to be Bukowski How hard it was for him to keep living in this "disgusting world" As per his routine, I think he was busy drinking all night He hasn't got any sleep He had a bluebird with him And said something about going to visit an old place He was worried about his bluebird He left the caged bird on my table I offered him coffee But he left in a hurry Now, A bluebird lives with me.

There's an Indonesian singer and songwriter called Pamungkas. He has just released a new album with its song called Birdy. The lyrics are VERY similar to BlueBird by Charles Bukowski. The thing is, Pamungkas says his song is his own idea.
