For Those Who Can't Find True Love by illneas

✍🏼When I asked illneas if I could make a video for one of his poems I wasn't expecting he to say yes and be so kind to share Iness's voice and give me the trust to work with his and her art. I just want to thank him for that!
If you don't know who illneass is: he is the best youtuber poet out there I have ever watched. This poem in particular is my favorite from him. It conveys so much emotions in me I can't even put them into words, so I tried to tell a story through images instead.

Dear stranger
Let's pretend that we have known each other since we were kids
Let's pretend that this is the truth
Let's pretend that each scar on my body
has a story including you
Let's fill the decades in-between
with lies
and false memories
Let's pretend that the universe isn't chaotic
And every particle that has touched me
may have touched you too
Let's pretend that this is the truth
Maybe we bumped shoulders on a crosswalk
three years ago
Maybe you felt my warmth on a doorknob
last week
Maybe we once visited the same dream
Let's pretend that my sadness
isn't visible in the way I move
Let's pretend that you aren't scared
to show your emotions
Let's pretend we aren't afraid
just alone
Let's pretend we aren't cold
just untouched
Let's pretend that this isn't a delusion
just a new perspective
Let's pretend that we have known each other since we were kids
Let's pretend that this is the truth
When you are gone,
I won't feel sad,
just empty
Dear stranger,
I'm unhappy
And If I could find happiness in poetry
