The switch from “I’m actually weirdly not” to Josh’s face is PERFECT ☠️
The only time when not 'Yes and' ing it is perfect for the situation :D
And the noise he makes 😂
The deflation of jigsaw 😂
@@AngelofGrace96 saying he's not scared of fire was a "yes and", he's saying yes to jigsaw being awkward and having nothing right or set up, he's saying "yes you're incompetent" lol
@@AngelofGrace96 its because the improve specifically calls for it. You get to subvert the improv
That exasperated sigh after Zac says he's not particularly afraid of fire is pure gold.
He sounds so deflated
His face like 😀 well shit
Zac's no and then Josh's "oh..." sadface killed me.
“ah yes of course how did i forget 😔”
I love that he starts to laugh after his defeated sigh. Perfect time to cut them off. xD
Josh is just a good jigsaw
E
E
And Zac was really good at helping him play this bit
um actually the jigsaw monologues were pre recorded if josh was actually a good jigsaw he would have known that
Unbelievably hilarious 😂 nails that fucken creepy ass voice 😂
Damn those paper flipping sounds are spot on
The first thing this bit made me think of was the game Keep Talking and No One Explodes, same kind of energy lmao
Josh is so fucking good at small mundane sound effects. In this same episode he nails the sound of a briefcase opening.
hello porksword
I imagined it as him swiping on an iPad lol
He’s violating my brothers
"I'm actually weirdly not"
Jigsaw: doesn't even try to fight, disappointed sigh flipping to the next page
Jigsaw: “If you’re afraid of of fire…”
Victim: “I’m actually weirdly not.”

Jigsaw: F***. I think I got the wrong book. I'm so sorry, this usually doesn't happen to me.
@@driftingwolf0 V: “Man you got something going on at home or…”
JS: “I miss my kids man”
The fact that josh is using the "big business manager" voice implies that the business manager is jigsaw
zac didn't employ his services, and now he's having a bad time
But that’s just a theory a VOICE theory thanks for watching
"you should see.. a beefcase in the middle of the room.."
@@qilg 😂😂
That’s what I thought too
Love that Zac’s role was entirely a “no, that’s wrong” which is typically the antithesis of an improv game.
The drawfee ‘no, but’ instead of ‘yes, and’ approach
When you know your partners, a good “no, but” can really amp up the insanity of a scene. I personally enjoy the infamous Deviled Egg on the Windowsill approach from the original Noise Boys.
That was my exact though!!! If they weren’t willing to say, “no” to one another, it would not have been funny.
He's yes, and-ing the prompt of Jigsaw not being prepared.
@@johnnyshortfor I like to think that specifically, Nathan says “Yes and” and the Jacob, Karina, and Julia are all “No, fuck you”
Zac with the rare but perfect “hard no” in an improv scene 😂
Lol absolutely perfect for that
Lol yeah, this isn't exactly a "yes-and-er" 😂
I'd say it's a "yes-and" in disguise given the context.
@@GyrKestrel lol it's definitely "yes and" but after the and it's just "no"
That’s how you know it’s rehearsed / heavy edited
I would have loved to see this scene continue for another 30 minutes. 😂
Right?? Why end it???
@@haleyadamic There was actually a lot more you don't see in the RUclips Short. He directs him to the bathroom and Zac says "okay I'm in the bathroom" and Josh is like "oh fuck you're in there??" Great moment

@@baileyjean42seriously!
It amazes me sometimes how often the best moments in comedy sketches like these are so simple but yet delivered perfectly and that makes all the difference in the world.
Josh is just so damn good at that. Much of the Largest Businessman skit's humor was the simple stuff like how he said the word "briefcase" to sound almost like "beefcase", or a simple line of "you will have a bad time".... I dunno know how but he's just real good at those kinds of things
WHAT'S IN THE B--- oh wait there isnt one
A rare example when a little blocking is okay in improv. That’s what was needed to get the scene done.
I feel like an unsaid rule of improv is "no, but"
@@enbeast8350 It's not unsaid, that's legit. And it's actually what Zac did -- gave him the option of a blanket!
I love the Josh subtly changes the prompt from "Forgot to prepare anything" to "Forgot exactly what he had prepaired". Made for a much funnier scene, watching him rifle through the pages in his notes like it's an old user's manual!
Oh man, the DM left all his stuff on the bus today! This is going to be chaotic as shit!
I interpreted it more as the Jigsaw failed to prepare anything for THIS GUY, and is kinda just checking through his notes for any leftovers from previous people that he can reuse
@@char1194 Yeah. Just throwing something at him and hoping it will stick. 😂
"The blanket has, uhmmm... BEDBUGS!! You will be... uncomfortable and itchy... Yeah, that should work." 😈
“For some crazy reason, bed bugs just give me bumps, there’s really no other thing that happens to me! Isn’t that kinda funny?”
@@lizzycantdraw8265 " Umm... 3 seconds!" *page flipping noises*

"ONE SECOUNDS!:
" are you mad at me... Please dont be mad I'm sorry your write I will just shut up"
".... Your a people pleaser?... You have to yell at that employee over there"
"WHAT!"
That would honestly be an effective jigsaw trap on me, I’ve heard nightmare stories of bed bugs and I feel like if I’m ever exposed to them I will lose all will to live.
sounds like a jerma clip
for this one you must build an IKEA cabinets with using morse code manual... "I MEAN THE FACTORY GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS"
Zac changing the "yes and..." rule up to just "no"
i know this is a joke and im not an inprov actor, but i think that his 'no' actually might function as 'yes and'. In this scene, jigsaw is supposed to not know what he's doing. If Zac had said 'yes their is a box in the room' and 'yes i am afraid of fire', that wouldn't have actually affirmed the scene.
Also, he offers a potential alternative to 'box' with 'blanket' to give josh something else to riff on if he had no ideas
@@Daisyisnotaflower, absolutely. Zac is 100% "yes, and"ing it.
The "Yes" is accepting what the other person says and the "And" is adding your own part to it. Jigsaw is supposed to be unprepared; that's the whole joke. So Zac is accepting it by saying No and then adding his own piece to it by saying there's only a blanket.
Too many people think "yes, and" has to mean "You have to agree". The point is to move the story forward riffing off what the other person added and Zac does this perfectly by telling the unprepared character that he forgot to prepare the thing he's mentioning.
@@h3lblad3 I actually disagree. If Zac were “Yes and”-ing. He woulda responded more like “yeah, I see the box… is that candy tho?” Or “there’s a fire? NICE!”
I think both work equally as well and the bit was great!
@@TheLoserface45 No. The prompt is about being unprepared. Jigsaw wouldn't put a candy box there, and the candy box would be some sort of preparation... THe room being mostly empty, and not knowing the victim is perfect.
Saying no does not mean you're not following the "yes and" rule. That rule was never meant for people to 100% always say yes to anything thrown at them during improv. It's meant to "accept it". And he accepted it and used it to show how jigsaw is unprepared. As the promt requested...
Josh is great but Zac kills this!
ironic, given the role
@@Eidenhoek 😂
Reverse uno card.
Bros like looking through a manual with flowcharts
Is box -> no -> is scared of fire -> no -> shit
The one time “yes and” is not the right choice
Just about to say this XD. The best improvers for there best work when someone says no.
The scene's question is "is jigsaw unprepared?" "Yes and there's no box." "yes and he caught the one person weirdly not afrais of fire."
I reeeeallly wanted this to go a lot longer lmao
Seriously lol
I love how Zac was pretending to be tied up the whole time, and just stopped at the fire question.
I like the implication that Jigsaw just sort of loosely bound up Zac because he was short on time
I love the flipping of the script book, because its a mix of "whats my lines?" And "i swear i scheduled this a month ago"
The "o-! oouh..." after the "im actually weirdly not" is damn good
scared of kidnapping but not fire. guy's got his priorities straight
All I see is Jigsaw trying to be a DM
Sorry, everyone, I just got this adventure module last week and didn't read this far ahead. One second.
In a weird way he is
A good example of when the “Yes and” rule doesn’t work. Good job to both of them for threading that needle
"So anyway Steven.."
"My name's Zack."
"goddammit."
This prompt was hilarious
The only time in improvisation when "no but" and "yes and" are the same. xD
The page turns kill me 😂
The funniest part of this is the fact that Jigsaw’s videos are usually prerecorded, which implies that he knew he didn’t prepare anything and messed up the guy’s fears, but decided to go on ahead anyway
What a great prompt and what a perfect pair to do it
Absolute favorite Jigsaw quote: "!! That's my Lego! :0"

@@EEEEEEEE Fellow E. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen you make this same comment, and it has me worried. Are you a bot?
I could watch an entire movie like this
I can't help but feel the Jigsaw role would have been gold for Zac
Totally thought they would take on the opposite roles, yeah!
"There's no box?"
*off mic* "DAMMIT SHARON"
same exact scene happens when you work at an escape room and you forget to put something inside and the team calls you for help
This feels like a skit Stanzi would make🤣 I bet she would be amazing on here.
Holy shit that would eb amazing
They would be WILD on game changer! If only!!
omg yes that would be a dream i hope she's on someday
We need to make it happen!
I think she might have some trouble because her show is most likely scripted but I think it would still be awesome.
Y'know in improv we were always told "Never say no or reject something in a scene" but I'd say that was the perfect opportunity.
The concept of "yes, and" is a process to progress the scene forward. The prompt was Jigsaw was woefully unprepared. Zac is essentially 'yes, anding' to the negatory prompt of Josh's character.
@@thejuniorseas7683 valid point.
Tbh I was just trying to be mildly funny more than actually critical.
@@ladybuzzkillington2072Respect the honesty

Lmao the sheer uncertainty
This had me seriously dying in laughter!
I could watch like nine films worth of this
It's Josh's defeated "Oh" at the end that wraps it all up so nicely.
I was expecting the "not until... one second" to be followed by a 1 second pause and a "can I go now?"
Zac with the classic "no, and" rule of improv
Hah, this reminds me of my favorite fictional serial killer, Jerma985!
jerma in game changer would be a BANGER

“No, come on chat, I’m not going to on a College Humor online game show”
“…And me, I’ve been here the whole time! I am your host Jerma985, and today we’ve got these three lovely contestants”

I'm so glad JERMA isn't real. Whoever wrote that MEATGRINDER line must be a real sicko!
Feels like that bomb defusal vr game
Keep talking and nobody explodes 🥰
That's what I was thinking too! 😂
Josh! - Huh
Zac! - Mmm-hmm
You'll find a stack of bank statements that need filing.
Who's Jonathan Kramer, are you gonna make me kill him?
And beside those you’ll find the states tax returns that need evaluation
Please just kill me please!!!
Actually that would be kind of fun. Is he hiring?
"I'm an accountant, and I noticed they're already filed correctly."
I was actually expecting Zac to just "try opening the door" and realize it was unlocked
*John Kramer aka Jigsaw talking to himself about what to do:* "Ok John this ain't great, you messed up and forgot to prep last night. We can still salvage this, we're just gonna need to put that community center improve class we took to work."
Friendly reminder that Zac only gets to break from yes-anding because he's such a pro at this.
Gotta love Zac's masterful use of "no, and"
The "huh" killed me 😂😂
THANK YOU FOR MORE OF THESE BITS I NEED THIS FORMAT TO CONTINUE ON WITH EVERYTHING I LOVE THIS FORMAT. THANK YOU
I love that Josh was smiling when Zac said there wasn't a box 😂
The "Uh, I'm actually weirdly not" might be in the running with "I killed him, yeah" for my favorite Zac joke.
worse part is that jigsaws videos are prerecorded instead of live, so he's literally winging a prerecorded tape 😂
He obviously forgot to prepare a prerecorded tape and had to wing it live. :D
I idea of jigsaw sighing with exasperation is hilarious to me. His huh? Is priceless
Haha I could have watched a full episode of just this
The "huh?" Got me
No
I could watch this bit go on for a lot longer 😂, zac just confused and honest and trying not to get murdered with Josh getting more and more exasperated with his own poor planning
Sam and the crew laughing really adds to the whole show. I love it
I'm always impressed by Zac's ability to "no, and".
I actually would love a 10 min video of this 😂
😂😂😂 this was done so brilliantly 👏🏻👏🏻
Zach is just such a good improv partner. Even the unused stuff is A+ acting.
I love how you can hear the crew LOSING IT in the background
Big "keep talking and nobody explodes" energy
Best best to react to hearing jigsaw "theres no box"
This show never disappoints, so funny.
I love this is the one situation where saying no in improv actually made the scene ten times better
if you're afraid of fire? 👁️👄👁️
The defeated sigh at the end lmao
"One second" Lmao
The only time when "Yes and" doesn't apply lol
This is literally “yes and” what are you on about
@@unionjack0638 its not? It's the exact opposite. "Yes, and" is a rule in improv, implying you should always build on what your improv partner is saying/doing and try your best not to shut the bit down with resistance or rejection. Zac here is breaking that rule, but purposefully since Josh's role was confused frustration over the trap not being set up correctly, or at all.
@@msthecommentator2863 the entire bit was that Jigsaw wasn’t prepared and was just winging it. Zac making it so the room was empty is adding to the bit.
@@msthecommentator2863 Zac is actually building on the scenario by making the room not what jigsaw expected. It's exactly what "yes and" is about.
Here's a different scenario : an improv where someone try to show you something that is far away. Saying "I don't see it" give the chance to your partner to add details on what he just said, which can be useful sometime, especially if you don't have an idea right away. The idea of "yes and" is to keep the improv going. So saying yes and stalling because you have a blank is useless. Your partner is usually going somewhere with the idea, give them a chance to add up to it, it may help you.
The exasperated "Ugh" ruined me, Josh is so god damned good, and Zac played it perfectly. God I'm glad I subbed to Dropout
Idk why but I would have loved to see Zac get frustrated with the lack of preparation and start yelling back “THERES NOT BOX, WHAT DO YOU MEAN” and jigsaw responding “please stop yelling at me, I didn’t have time to prepare before you fell into my pit”
"No there's really no box in the middle of the room."
"Okay but can you maybe check in the corners real quick ?"
"I'm sorry but the room's empty."
"Oh wait nevermind it's right here on my desk." *awkward laughter*
@@victorjozek5384 🤣
Zac using the rare “no.” Improve technique, brilliant as always
Zac's awkward brand of humour is so perfect for others to bounce off of
Zac is the only one to successfully break the "yes, and" rule of improve that still enhances the scene
I’d watch this movie
Not sure if I love this one or Jerma’s impression more, they’re both great 😭
Him flipping through pages is kinda the opposite of winging it but it's still hilarious.
I think he's spinning a spinner
The disappointment in the last "oh" was so perfect 😂😂😂
I need a sketch for this!
This would be great!
A good example of an exception to “yes, and” but he still gave him the blanket if he wanted to work with that

Best use of a "no, but" as a "yes, and" I've seen in improv
Ah yes the jerma bit
I have filled this room with GYAS, and not the GYAS that you are used to-
@@NixxxkSEWER GYAS
That was great guys. Zac you are so great at responding to who you are with. The best actually.
Pretty sure Saw V was just winging it, that’s why every room was basically. “Solve the puzzle, or the bomb in the corner of the room blows up.” He really wasn’t trying on that one.
It’s the… “I bet ya’re finding yerself really, REALLY scared!” …that really slays me.
- Is there a box in the middle of the room?
- No, there isnt
- ... Well, it IS there.
- But I cannot see it! There is only a blanket
- Well, unless you find a box in next... like, 30 minutes, a really bad thing will happen to you.
- Is there a clue in this box or something that will save me?
- ... Yes...
Josh’s expressions and Zac’s delivery is ✨✨
I love that Zac immediately gets the heart of joke and goes against improv 101 and does not "yes and" Josh. Also, Josh's "huh?" is so good.
You should retake improv 101 dude. This scketch is a perfect example of "yes and". The prompt is about jigsaw not being prepared. The room being empty is the perfect element for this.
You gotta love that they created a show just for those pitches that didn't really have enough legs for a full sketch in the writers' room.
Wait.... did millennials just reinvent whose line is it anyway... again? I'm here for it
This has happened before? awesome. I love whos line. The cycle must continue.
Whose line is it anyways had a come back too. Game changers is a lot of the big college humor guys from back in the day and some friends. Similiar vibe, improv is the best.
I think we can call this aping😂 it'll never be anywhere as close as Whose Line Is It Anyway
