What I appreciate about you as a content creator is that your tips translate to music pro in general. I’m more of an rnb producer than a dnb producer but I’ve used much of what I’ve learned from u. Thanks Becky.
your tutorials helped me on so many different levels, i trully respoect your content, you are an amazing dj, producer, content crator, keep working hard lady,, the sky is the limit
😂 that "Vital!" party popper was sick Nice breakdown, I love how you put over these techniques, with humour but no bs. Also enjoying your newsletter, it's awesome.
Thank you so much! Editing that Vital party popper in was a joyful moment and now it can be shared 😅 love to hear you're enjoying the newsletter too. Thanks so much
Recently found your videos after making the switch from Reaper & FL and i must say i enjoy your content! Great video production, informative & straight forward. Keep up the good work! All though i come from a background of Rock & Metal i still find your videos very useful!
Cool Dillinja video! And a really cool 808--I'm going to try recreating it in the synths I use based on your info. And yes, the newsletter is wonderful and worth subscribing to.
Wow… I’ve often just “set it and forget it” but these ideas for adding noise and motion into the kick tail and the transient are going to alter how I produce
Digging your stuff! Would love to feature you as a guest teacher if you ever feel like doing a minute-long tutorial. Either way, keep up the great work!
Hey, I crashed onto this page from Google after a small amount of research, I don't know too much about synth heavy sounds/tracks, but you seem to be somewhat of an expert, do you know the instruments that make the bass in the song "Like a G6"? what is the synth sound type called? There's a similar sound in "Pray for Me" by Kendrick Lamar and Weeknd throughout the song. Do you know what this specific sound effect/genre is called? Apparently it's something called an "808 kick drum/sample", could you outline how it works to a complete novice who knows nothing about synth music production? I really like the sound lol Is it a specific/famous sample that's used in synth music? That kind of, I think it's almost like a distorted sound that invariably gets mixed in with the drums and bass in this kind of "electro-hop" genre? lol Is this "808 sample" a SPECIFIC sound or collection of sounds? I'm really curious, I don't know anything about music in general, but want to learn more about how this sound works (lol) I feel like I might finally get some answers here (lol) Thank you in advance! Hmmmm I do seem to remember recording something to do with phase cancellation somewhere in the archive on here but can't recall where. I can definitely make a note to do a more detailed video on it.
Very Informative & thanks for the Bass Rack. I saw something not long ago that you might be interested in regarding Bass in Ableton (or any DAW really). It's a Mr. Bill vid: ruclips.net/video/rZ-XmTGaBso/видео.html This vid is for those who are very OCD about their sounds! So I'd do this first then after that I would follow Becky's Bass chain if you are anything like me and very interested in Sine Waves, well there ya go...

Hello! Could you make a tutorial how to make plucks like in Deus Ex Ambience tracks?
I cant seem to wrap my head around phase cancellation, especially in the low frequencies. Do you have some helpful tips and tricks?
