    Thank you for the video. My weather station is mounted on a 2 inch pole. Will the mounting system on the WH37 fit that pole?

      Yes it will. It fits onto the same pole.

      @ I’m in the Blue Mountains and got a small amount of rain but no storm. Perhaps tomorrow when the mercury climbs.

      @@smart_home_australia unfortunately that’s not correct. The plastic mounting bar end for the WH57 is approximately 19mm (3/4”). The metal u brackets are 35mm (1.37”). Why they didn’t make it compatible with the up to 50mm (2”) of the WS69 array is a pain.

    Can it connect directly to a home router

      The WH57 is a wireless sensor that requires a compatible gateway or console to connect to your home network and transmit data.
      Specifically, the WH57 needs a gateway like the GW1000, GW1100, or GW2000 to connect to WiFi and send data to apps or online services.
      Hence why it is the perfect companion for the WittBoy that comes with the gateway.

    How long do the batteries last for?

    • @smart_home_australia
      @smart_home_australia  5 месяцев назад +1

      Varies dependant upon quality of batteries used, distance of transmission, etc. but you can expect between 12 months and as high as 18 months.
      I went for Energizer Lithium Ultimate so I’m not expecting to change then a long time 😊

      @@smart_home_australia distance of transmission have nothing to do for the batteries last for as they only transmit and NOT receiving.
