  • Dear friends
SS3 indeed has come a long way, I remember in the early 70s there were limited eateries, most folks here would head to the market place at Sungai Way for perishable and food. Today there are so much food to choose from, in fact I already featured some eateries here before. However, this episode I’ll only concentrate on one kopitiam, it’s probably the cleanest and the newest in SS3. Hope you will find this episode compelling. Meanwhile, do go out and support the local street food. Thanks, and see you in the next.

Haha take it easy Uncle Elmo. I always enjoy your videos. Wonder why these people always have to blame others but never themselves when things go wrong. Anyways there are still many other treasures in SS3, Botak, Pom Pom have famous chic rice and mutton ginger+onion hor fun, mega western food, pandian indian rice and another ching jing fish in medan selera, Alex mamak fried noodle, satay and chic chop next door. Also have a few long running pubs with good pub grubs :). Carry on with the good work Sir. I support you.

There's a saying - one type of rice feeds thousands ( millions) of people. Hence - no need to bother about "bad / hurtful" opinions. Take it with a pinch of salt - let it go - and move on. This time at SS3 - the steamed fish head looks so invigorating. Elmo's pronunciation on the word croissant sounds so "French" and nicely pronounced !!! Yatt Lau 👍. Most (if not all ) of the dishes tried at each of the coffee stalls surely will wet one's appetite and I can't help but commenting that the way how Chee Cheong Fun is taken with only the sweet sauce, pak yau yau , fried shallots with a good dash of sesame seed is truly THE way to savor the nice smooth, soft and fragrant flat white noodle. Again - thank you Elmo for a wonderful SS3 food haunting episode. As always enjoyed the episode and made my gastric juice oozing again - Yatt Lau !! Mou Tak Deng !!!👌👌👌

100% Agree! CKT must have pork lard! In my case, pork lard and lap cheong is a must!
Yeah, so many Restaurants/coffeeshops has stalls claiming to be from Penang but when I try it, the food taste AWFUL! Again agree, don't care where they are from, as long as the food is good and NO MSG!

Dear Uncle Elmo Lee thank you for featuring ss3 a place a i grew up in do remember to feature the other old kopi tiam like hup soon as well there is a good fried rice stall too. Also dont bother with those people whom don't have the right mind because they blame you for the food but you also ate the same food that was not prepared by you so its not your fault some what they were unlucky or that day their bowel was not in a good state. Still overall i have tried the places of hawker food and also restaurants mostly taste good. Keep up the good and hard work i appreciate your food hunt videos!

So, i think you did right deleting the comment as i don't think it's gonna be constructive to this channel anyway.
