If you once make your mindset that you will sleep 5 hour and work 15 hour you will definately do it , ...     As a aiims student ,i purely deny his statement . It is a crime to say these stupid things , which will only deteriorate mental health. I can say this that to get a good seat preparing for 6hrs with proper technique and concentration daily excluding lecture classes is very much sufficient ). I remember these kind of teachers are the ones who made me feel depressed back in 11th, 12th class. I am not saying this from my view , all my friends who were in top colleges (aims Delhi, bhubaneswar, jipmer) , we all had studied for like 7 to 8 hrs excluding lecture, and they used have nice sleep .
    Pls don't take these peoples words so deep , just study at your High will , score your best and please come out of this stupid matrix out asap . Trust me there's more to the life than just this , and that phase of your life is waiting for you ...,

    For a 16,17 years old students it is utmost necessity that they sleep for at 7.5 to 8.5 hours but yes if your exams are near let's say 1 month they it can be around 6.5 to 7.5.

    I don't agree with his statement. Kindly sleep enough as per your body requirement but enough should not be too enough! The best rule of life is to live a life with happiness and discipline, rest will be taken care of by itself. Do your work honestly and put your effort. Apply your own experience, don't apply other motivation on your own, it will ruin your life. If you don't sleep properly, it will be a crime against your own health.
