I have seen some things in the church that were not real, but i do know that the power of God is so very real. We are not right about everything we say or do because we are not perfect only forgiven. I try to live my life to model after Jesus but i know i come up so very short of that but Jesus still deserves praise. I dont go out and intentionally sin but i do mess up in my walk. I agree with most of that. Just don't get caught up in the whole guilt, shame and duty game. I've seen that as well. People who go to church just to make ammends for "sins" they think they will never be forgiven for. Or, to appease an extremely "judgemental" god. I saw that oppression far too many times as well. To be fair this particular video isn't so bad. I was involved in a pentecostal church for 2 years, and I saw some pretty crazy stuff. Very disengenuine people as well. Praised like crazy in church and then partied like rock stars all the other days. I've seen some videos on youtube where people are running around like idiots and pushing each other over and stuff. That is just plain crazy.

Fred, did you check your message before posting!? No man can save themselves. And joining a "church" with the intention to "save yourself" is a non starter. You dont join a church (any church) to get saved. You have to repent, confess your sin, ask the Lord for the miracle of REBIRTH, then find an assembly of like minded souls to share in fellowship with. My Pastor is a former Catholic and I attended a Catholic Church. Do you all still have drinking parties on the weekends?? Do you all still swear and dance in public?? Do you all still pray to a statue?? No thank you. I have no desire to party, swear or drink or pray to a statute and I don’t confess my sins to a man, it’s not biblical. None of that mess is, after I repented of my sins to my God, Jesus and I was baptized in Jesus’ name and he gave me His Spirit the Holy Ghost. No man can save themselves. And joining a "church" with the intention to "save yourself" is a non starter. You dont join a church (any church) to get saved.
You have to repent, confess your sin, ask the Lord for the miracle of REBIRTH, then find an assembly of like minded souls to share in fellowship with. Church religion, particularly old fashioend types are 99.9% guaranteed to stimulate SELF righteousness based on good works. Yopu only need 2 or 3 gathered in the Lord's name and there you have it CHURCH....no stained glass, no gold, jewels, incense, statues, idols or any other useless trivia

My Pastor is a former Catholic and I attended a Catholic Church. Do you all still have drinking parties on the weekends?? Do you all still swear and dance in public?? Do you all still pray to a statue?? No thank you. I have no desire to party, swear or drink or pray to a statute and I don’t confess my sins to a man, it’s not biblical. None of that mess is, after I repented of my sins to my God, Jesus and I was baptized in Jesus’ name and he gave me His Spirit the Holy Ghost. I don’t need to pray to a statute, drink, sware and party on the weekends and Jesus set me free from all that, why would I want to go back to that mess. Again, no thank you.
