Saw a stream of yours a week or two ago on twitch and you said that something to the effect that your grind to chess heights took a toll. As a new player to the daily chess game , I just wanted to say thanks fireball the videos, especially low rated ! You’re funny , informative, and entertaining. Just wanted you to know I’m sure there are many of us that appreciate what you provide and accomplished
This has helped me tremendously. I am doing much better with puzzles, and when I fail, I can see where I went wrong in the calculations. I no longer feel lost in a game when I can look at all candidate moves to just improve position when no direct attack is available.
@@Alessia_Santeramo First chess 'engine', except it was just a small GM in a box. :) ETA: here's a link about it... ruclips.net/video/1tvla70hy9o/видео.html
I really appreciate this video! It's so helpful seeing and hearing your evaluation mid game and how you break down positions. I hope this will improve my game! Keep the contect coming please! New Sub! 😊
In example 2 the bishop sac on b4 was dismissed immediately, but it only fails because of the same tactic that makes Ndxb4 fail, which wasn't discussed until much later. Eg. ...Bxb4+, axb4 Ndxb4 (hitting the queen potentially with check), Qc3 Bxc4, Q8h#
The clear background, the flowers and the blue dress provide a more appealing colour palette than the previous black background. Well done Alessia - now get rid of that door and it will be perfect 😅. All the rest is perfect: interesting video, good editing, presentation, etc. keep it up!!!
maybe video regarding visualization in chess? which is a key to sufficient calculations, cause I often struggle to calculate far... I think I would love to see such video from you Alessia
4:21 "the king moves" what about Bc3 blocking the check? Possibly works if you take first with the Knight on c6 so that the Knight on d5 still covers the c3 square
@alessia santeramo Thank you very much for your channel, for lessons and videos... To me, this is the best chess channel. I know, there are so many other channels, with brilliant players as you... Other channels maybe more fashioned or hyped. But the thing is you make lessons simple and entertaining for us.
Also, there's an important step zero missing here: give some thought to you're opponent's last move. Don't look for tactics until you're satisfied you know the reason for it. This will save you a lot of blunders.
Mother, I think I have and its ocd hitting hard these days For example: Like I stuck in a loop thought of “King cannot Go to the opponent’s line of Attack” I know it it but mind can’t feel satisfied enough to accept it I know my Knowledge is right but Can’t process it So quitting chess for few months..

Hi everyone! How does one evaluate king safety?
Thank u very much ❤

1:39-1:51 white is a rook down so don't capture the black rook? i don't understand.
I had my first brilliant move
Amazing
Haha proves how much I need this video. The first scenario I said "oh easy, fork and take the rook"
haha :) it was also my first intuition

At 13:07 why can´t the black rook capture the white rook?
The sniper bishop is the piece mating the king but I thought the same
@@Dwaynoe_ball thanks. It's always the sniper bishop.
