Bruno Mannheim is a bad guy. He'd do anything for the people he loves, but he would and did hurt or kill anyone who stood in his way. He built his empire on blood, and justified it to himself by helping his community. The innocent lives he saved don't erase the innocent lives he stole.
While I am glad the bruno chapter is looking to be over, I kind of wish he had not turned himself in and focus on bringing peia back and continuing his crime spree cause now he is forced to confess to bring a freaking demon lex out of jail and I think lex will kill bruno to get revenge.
Don't cut a deal. Tell Bruno that he Matteo are going to "disappear" into a CIA black site where they will undergo "enhanced interrogation". Aside from being a mobster and mass-murderer, he directly attacked and stole from the DoD! That he dragged his son into his list of crimes is Bruno's own fault.
Because it's better for him to do it voluntarily. I don't think they actually would have anything they could make stick on Matteo, but in Bruno's emotional state his usual calculating self is gone and he doesn't realize that. Also now they can hold the welfare of his son over his head for good behavior.
@@fatman123526 - They don't have to make anything stick because, as I said above, the DoD (or more accurately the CIA and NSA) could simply make Bruno and Matteo "disappear". It helps that Bruno already had a private rail line under his building. Even if his lawyers tried to raise the issue legally, the government could just say that Bruno and Matteo escaped as per Bruno's plan. In reality, they stick them in a black site and that's that.
@@fatman123526 - Not the way Bruno twists words around and answers questions with questions. They'd get more by threatening to make him Lex's cellmate.
If Bruno tells everything he knows, I'm sure that will include how he and Peia framed Lex Luthor for the crime he was imprisoned over.
Yeah, they should have left that bit out
This is of course what leads to Lex coming in the last 2 episodes, so yes I agree.
He wasn't a "bad" guy, he was just in a bad situation. Who wouldn't do any and everything for their dying wife trying to save her
He and his wife are *mass-murderers!* Were you not paying attention?
Ends don't justify the means.

He is a bad guy. He was a bad guy before Piea got sick, and he was still a bad guy while she was sick.
He had a bomb strapped to John's Sister's doppleganger he is straight up evil
Did Bruno ever give his blessings to Matteo and Natalie before he was going to confess?

@@daniels7907 So you would advocate cruelty and torture from someone willing to cooperate. Says a lot about you.
