For people talking about no social distancing at this event, Taiwan has no local covid transmission since April. Even though the country is literally covid-free, people still wear mask as a precautionary measure to fend off any potential outbreak. Having just about 500 cases in a country with a population of 24 millions is truly brilliant. Not even mentioning how densely populated Taipei is.

The transition from Demon Slayer to Full Metal Alchemist is legendary. Music is incredible, like the violin is a vocalist and the piano is the whole band, and love the outfits.
I’m so glad people still know fullmetal alchemist exists in 2020- Edit again: OKAY! I had no idea this comment would get so much attention. What I mean is the show is pretty old. No one talks about it much anymore because of newer shows, and fma is finished. That’s what I meant. Also when I said the fandom is pretty small... honestly I meant that people don’t talk about fma in 2020. For example, I occasionally watch tiktok _(not the cringey ones I swear--)_ , and I always search for fma videos. I never find many. Compared to other fandoms like my hero academia (which is really popular?!) and even hunter x hunter (which is about the same age as brotherhood, I am referring to the anime, not the manga... still the manga was out in 1999?? Correct me if I’m wrong but idk) it is way less popular. *_Fullmetal alchemist has gotten a little attention recently, though...maybe because it is on Netflix..._* BASICALLY, it’s just not as popular as other older anime from what I’VE seen. The violinist is good, but the pianist is garbage, she missed some key notes in the melody which ruined the experience of listening overall. Idk if this was an error in their composition or the actual act of playing itself, but it is by all means unforgivable, especially concidering this was a performance. Normally I don't care, but if you are going to display what you have learned, then make sure to get it right God dammit. Completely shameful! The pianist was also standing up playing, which is impossible to do if you wanna play something that sounds good - which obviously was STRONGLY noticable. I can't believe they didn't grab some chair for her, seeing her not being used to the chord jumps with her left hand due to her arms being more extended and not close to her body, making them more unstable, which means you have to use your arm muscles more when jumping with your hand, which means it obviously becomes alot more unstable and thus your accuracy when you play something over 50 BPM drastically decreases, which obviously concludes that if you are not used to standing and playing piano, then fucking don't when you are making a performance. Smh. Can't believe my eyes. Not to mention how annoying it must be to press the pedal while STANDING up and playing. I'm just gonna put it it out there so that people who don't play piano can understand that... there is a damn good reason why you sit and play piano and not stand and play. Oh well, even if she did sit and managed to play it perfectly, it wouldn't have mattered because of their lazy composition to all songs.

However, yes, playing real piano you have to be precise on each key press aswell, so everything I just said makes it even more difficult and practically impossible if you wanna make it sound good or play a song with emotion
It's so impressive how silent the crowd is and how many people are wearing a mask and how nobody is interrupting them. If I would do this at my place (even with permissions), 20 Karens will come and scream around and there will be nothing like silent, attention paying people😥

It’s crazy how I first saw this video/ channel during the COVID pandemic in 5th grade and it inspired me to start playing the piano even though I didn’t have any tools or people to formally teach me at the time other than a keyboard my grandma got my sister at a thrift shop and a desire to play some anime songs. It has been about three years since and with the same keyboard I have started taking lessons with a music teacher from my old school and I have improved greatly since I started. And this channel was a huge inspiration for me.

I'm so happy and proud to be able to be there and witness the great moments. This event was on Aug 23 at the Flora Exposition Dome in Taipei, Taiwan, with ~100 cosers and ~10 youtuber musicians in the same area each attracting audiences with their charm. RuRu and Kathie were undoubtedly the most successful among all performers, attracting a thick wall of crowd, occupying a vast area in a corner. It's a wonderful event and will be remembered by the fans for a long time.

With their outstanding skills and the special ability to touch audience's heart by music (and their smiles), RuRu and Kathie will definitely have a bright future. We will have a lot more opportunities in the future to listen to their live performance in person. Let's wait and see. : )

There’s something called memorizing, when i had my piano rehearsal i didn’t bring or needed to read a sheet music because its been stuck in my head for playing it a lot and practicing it
It's almost as if they . . . Now hear me out here. PRACTICED and developed muscle memory. To where these songs are second nature to them. Crazy, I know.
I'll be honest with you guys I had been in band for 3 years in middle school and I never learned how to read sheet music I just played everything from memory and based on what everyone else was playing I thought that was how everyone played I didn't understand a thing that was on those sheets I just pretended like I was reading them i never bothered to learn notes or anything just kind of played ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm so happy and proud to be able to be there and witness the great moments.
This event was on Aug 23 at the Flora Exposition Dome in Taipei, Taiwan, with ~100 cosers and ~10 youtuber musicians in the same area each attracting audiences with their charm. RuRu and Kathie were undoubtedly the most successful among all performers, attracting a thick wall of crowd, occupying a vast area in a corner. It's a wonderful event and will be remembered by the fans for a long time.
I wish I had had the chance to be there.

With their outstanding skills and the special ability to touch audience's heart by music (and their smiles), RuRu and Kathie will definitely have a bright future. I'll be honest with you guys I had been in band for 3 years in middle school and I never learned how to read sheet music I just played everything from memory and based on what everyone else was playing I thought that was how everyone played I didn't understand a thing that was on those sheets I just pretended like I was reading them i never bothered to learn notes or anything just kind of played ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
