These girls were all cast pre-pandemic two of them were due to start the week we went into lockdown. A lot of the cast are older than they usually would be. But it would be unfair for these girls not to get a run after rehearsing so hard. It’s likely when the cast is changed in March time they will go back to the 8-10 year olds playing the role but for now these girls are doing a fantastic job
A) why are the Matildas all so old she’s supposed to be like six years old not almost a teenager B) Why am I not surprised there is a non white matilda more box ticking no offence to the little girl nothing to do with her personally
They were probably younger when they cast them but there was obviously a pandemic. The age range for the role (as the website says) 8-12years the old and must be under 4”2. As long as they are fitting those requirements, they would cast them
@@doyouhearthepeoplesing2 they can’t cast 6 year old in the role though. The role is too demanding for a 6 year old. Not to mention that they need to be a triple threat, they just wouldn’t be able to cast enough girls to keep the show running
@@chloeperdrix8867 rubbish the lion king cast 7 year olds even that’s better than a damn twelve year old whose way to tall and bu,it in the chest area to pass for a damn six year old
@@doyouhearthepeoplesing2 in the lion king the kids are not in the show for whole performance. For the role of Matilda, the girls barely leave the stage

The girls all look too old. Bring back the 8,9 and 10 year olds that they used to cast.

They are all within the age rage, you must be 8-14
Well they are young enough to playbher besides at that age they have more experience in acting then younger ones
