I just fell in love with this group. 😍😍😍 Excellent sounds, Love their gear & their attitudes but also what these girls stand for & getting their message across too. Politics all over our planet sucks! Well done girls. I love you all. 😍😍😍
With so many alt-genre bands these days, you tell what they are saying even if it is in English, so maybe it doesn't matter. I think with the internet, people are more happy to look abroad for music.
@@RevStickleback I think it could be because the west is not producing anything interesting in the last few years. Im only familiar with the old japanese punk scene and there was a lot of stuff coming out but it was all shaded by anything made in the west. How these bands were going to compete with MTV punk from rancid, transplants, nofx, walls of jericho, distillers, and those bands from the early 2ks. Right now? Nothing new in the west, and with the cancel culture, forget about anything interesting. Even anarchist punk from the EU its gone.
@@leredditcommander8208 I don't think more traditional ways of finding bands, such as MTV or the radio are anywhere as big as they were, and nothing but radio-friendly corporate stuff makes it to the mainsteam. Without such curated exposure to new bands, people have to find their own stuff, and national barriers are much less of a barrier. Western alt-genres, because of pop's dominance, seem to be fixated on being extreme and 'anti-pop' to the detriment of actually writing catchy tunes. Even bands that have been considered relatively extreme in the 80s, e.g. The UK Subs, aren't any more. As it happens, quite a few punks of that generation seem to have produced in Japan, and the far east, saying the scene there is more like how it used to be in the west. Charlie Harper actually took time out to go and watch Rumkicks in Brighton, and actually mulled over the idea of doing a gig with them at The 100 Club with them in London...until his wife told him that he was too old.
It's like the Ramonas. Little girls are not allowed to fix their amplifiers at 10, or what??? More distortion, more being out of control. Lesser school girls, more punk rock, ladies... Surfboart for example...
