I have so much respect for you guys! Raising twins would be so challenging. I dont know how you do it and you are obviously doing a really good job because you have great kids! I think judy did do something after Julianna ignored her; the clip cut off to the next scene when JB was away from the play-kitchen and put the pot on the floor. Idk; we could assume she did "nothing" but I'd like to think she at least gave Julianna a stern talk in between those two clips, but that could just be me being optimistic. Not sure if judy would ever add in clips of her disciplining her kids since that seems kinda like a private matter, but hey. You gotta give it to her though, she was able to delegate afterwards so all the girls were content (even if it was for a short time) XD you win some, you lose some
Sorry, but JB actually said "sharing?" Before she took it and Miya is always catered to above the other two. She cries and gets whatever she wants. In videos before this I've seen Miya grab things from JB (like princess dolls) and Judy doesn't discipline Miya but tells JB sharing is caring. There is a definite double standard when it comes to Miya and I wonder if it will backfire as the twins get older. Miya is never pushed to be independent or stand up for herself and in the long run it may not help her that her parents always step in for her. She gets a lot more attention from Judy in the videos especially over Keira. And as far as disciplining JB, she's only two and still a baby herself and Judy always says they should all share but really it only applies to Keira and JB and Miya gets off the hook a lot of the time. They are awesome parents and I can't imagine how difficult 1 year old twins and a toddler is to make things even and so my opinion is nothing but I just feel bad for Keira sometimes because Miya seems to occupy a lot of mom and dads attention.
Miya is so quiet and sweet! She steals my heart everytime. I feel like Keira has a lot of personality and is quite like JB in ways...but Miya seems different from both of them. All three put a smile on my face!
For some reason, this was one of my favorite vlogs so far! Being a mom of five myself, watching the "drama" with the girls just made me laugh!! It just reminded me of my kids when they were little!! Thank you for keeping it real!! And I agree, 100%, husband and wife quality time is so important! We do that more frequently here because our kids are older, but I can't emphasize more how much that refreshes our marriage, and appreciation of each other. And, it also shows your girls a healthy example of a marriage. God bless you and your family!!
I'm use to k bear and JB crying but when sweetie bear MIYA cries it absolutely breaks my heart . Please edit that out judy I can't take it . Lol . MIYA is so precious and sweet .
Thats cause when JB or keira cry they do it for petty reasons usually like : not getting food fast enough , not getting what they want etc. When Miya cries like that, she feels like shes personally attacked / bullied. Either that or JB and Kb cry and whine alot that it has become background noise to us at this point so we arent as bothered.
Benji cracks me up. I love how much he expresses his love for Judy in discrete and not so discrete ways. Both of you guys are lucky to have one another! :)
I'm not sure if JB ripping toys away from other kids is normal for her age, but I feel like Judy doesn't really correct JB for anything? I'm not a parent, but I have worked with infants to 1.5 yr olds at a daycare for a year, and we were told that with the "older" (1+ kids) to correct and then distract with another toy/activity. I'm not saying the way I was told to do it is correct or Judy is correct, I'm just curious about her parenting/discipline style. Also, I might just be forgetting, but I don't ever see Benji get involved in discipline. I think it's important for JB to know how to get along and know that it's not okay to just take what you want. She's a very smart girl and remembers (and repeats!) almost everything Judy says. But I realize she is a young child with her own desires.
***** No, you are absolutely RIGHT!! Judy does correct, but extremely mildly. You see today, when JB aggressively ripped the pot from Miya and took off, and Judy repeatedly told her to come back and she just ignored her. That is how it ALWAYS is. JB also whines about EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!! Judy edits most of it out. That goes for any and everything that makes them look bad. So you only see the "Best of the Best" of the behavior, so imagine what it is REALLY like! But yeah, Judy does not take control, be stern, or correct in a manner that will teach them not to do it again. As smart as JB is, if Judy and Benji were really cracking down on it, she would've learned already, or at least be MUCH better than she is now. She does it daily. It also doesn't help that they are all extremely spoiled. When kids get any and everything they want, they never hear no and therefore expect to get what they want at ALL times. All of it is a recipe for disaster!

Miya seems to need Judy the most right now. Most mothers will naturally help the child that needs them the most. It is not about having favorites. The situation can change. At some point, one of the other girls may need Mom more. Keira is very confident as is JB. Kids rotate their learning often focusing on physical then mental or the other way around. Keira is getting the physical part I wonder if Miya is developing mentally more at this point. Miya seems more in tune with others emotions. I believe she will turn out to be a real sweet heart if she is not bullied (at school or anywhere) kids like this are often bullied. If she is bullied at school, I just bet JB and Keira would jump to her defense! I could be wrong but this is what I think based on this clip. I just want to hug Miya and seeing her smile was wonderful!
Kathylouu Confidence can best be built by a child's own achievements. However, parents can 'sneak' in some help. I knew a father that had a child that was not doing as well as her peers. She needed confidence. One day a bunch of people went fishing and he snuck a fish on his daughter's fishing hook and she thought she caught a fish when no one else did. This boosted her confidence and made her look better to her friends. Maybe it was cheating a bit but this little girl needed help. That one act really helped that little girl.
Sara Coucou I hope you are not implying I called Keira a bully. I did not, nor do I think that. Keira is very goal oriented. I think she is more into getting what she wants or doing what interest her rather than bullying anyone. Same for JB. I think they are very much alike. Having a confident child with interests makes most parents feel good because we don't have to worry as much about their emotions. Of course, we have to be concerned with them getting hurt physically. This type of child is usually tough and can achieve easily. We need Miya's in the world too. Sensitive people are often the caretakers of the world. Don't dismiss this personality type, they often become the nurses, doctors, caring teachers and 'nice' helpful people we need. Emotional intelligence as also been linked with success. A child like Miya will develop emotional intelligence more easily because they are interested in it.
Kathylouu Actually, Judy is doing the right thing by trying to make Miya do it herself instead of causing her to become more dependent on Judy. The whole goal of raising children is to raise them where they can do for themselves not make them be weak and dependent and Judy encourages Myia and all the children to do what she knows they can do but won't try.
Benji is a really good dad. I love how he relates with Julianna, when Judy is busy with the twins. Also how he relates with all the girls in general. Judy is also a great mom. I love how she plays with the girls, and lets them try things on their own, until they get it right (no matter how much they cry) props to this family

The twins always seem to want more milk or food. With their growth spurts Judy you could give them more food and drink so they will be satiated. As twins who have to always share everything, I encourage you to make sure they feel like they have enough food and don't have to hoard or binge later in life.

Not only with Miya but with Keira too! At 14:38 it's clear that Jb hit Keira and I'm really hoping that she didn't hit Keira on her head. And all Judy said was Jb be gentle. It's understandable that she's learning and she's feels like she doesn't have her parents attention as much but seriously? Sometimes it's okay to step in or pull Jb aside and explain to her that hitting her sisters or taking things from them isn't okay.

if you watch the earlier vlogs, Julliana has been alittle bit more naughty around the babies and is disciplined really sternly. now she has been kinder and when she hits the babies Judy would always say "Gentle" because Judy knows that Julliana wouldn't cross the line because Julliana nevers.
Judy told her to be gentle the second she saw it. What do you expect. Her to run over snatch JB up and spank her on cam just to please you? All parents don't resort to that for their kids. JB is still a toddler still learning, and adjusting to the twins. It doesn't make her a "horrid brat" just because she's older than her sisters. She's still 2yrs old. Some of you really need to grow up.

I think that Judy probably disciplines JB more than we think, just off camera since it isn't something she wants to publicize. Remember we only see 20-30 minutes of their day :)

The story of the cup and spoon! There once was a cup and spoon, miya (the little cutie bear) was happiest when she had her cup and spoon but one fateful day the cup and spoon disappeared she knew her sister keira had something to do with it as she was spotted with it in the baby news. miya was so sad and dissapointed she started screaming for no reason and everyone was worried for little miya, then one day along came the pot and spatula miya was happy again but her life would never be the same without her cup and spoon. THE END!! :)

Lakely Babies seem to think whatever someone else has is better than what they have. It is a 'grass is greener on the other side of the fence' thing. Ex. Keira may think what Miya has is better even though they have the same thing. This could be a reason but of course I do not know for sure what they are thinking.

Miya is so quiet and sweet! She steals my heart everytime. I feel like Keira has a lot of personality and is quite like JB in ways...but Miya seems different from both of them. All three put a smile on my face!

For some reason, this was one of my favorite vlogs so far! Being a mom of five myself, watching the "drama" with the girls just made me laugh!! It just reminded me of my kids when they were little!! Thank you for keeping it real!! And I agree, 100%, husband and wife quality time is so important! We do that more frequently here because our kids are older, but I can't emphasize more how much that refreshes our marriage, and appreciation of each other. And, it also shows your girls a healthy example of a marriage. God bless you and your family!!

Thats cause when JB or keira cry they do it for petty reasons usually like : not getting food fast enough , not getting what they want etc. When Miya cries like that, she feels like shes personally attacked / bullied. Either that or JB and Kb cry and whine alot that it has become background noise to us at this point so we arent as bothered.

I'm not sure if JB ripping toys away from other kids is normal for her age, but I feel like Judy doesn't really correct JB for anything? I'm not a parent, but I have worked with infants to 1.5 yr olds at a daycare for a year, and we were told that with the "older" (1+ kids) to correct and then distract with another toy/activity. I'm not saying the way I was told to do it is correct or Judy is correct, I'm just curious about her parenting/discipline style. Also, I might just be forgetting, but I don't ever see Benji get involved in discipline. I think it's important for JB to know how to get along and know that it's not okay to just take what you want. She's a very smart girl and remembers (and repeats!) almost everything Judy says. But I realize she is a young child with her own desires.

***** No, you are absolutely RIGHT!! Judy does correct, but extremely mildly. You see today, when JB aggressively ripped the pot from Miya and took off, and Judy repeatedly told her to come back and she just ignored her. That is how it ALWAYS is. JB also whines about EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!! Judy edits most of it out. That goes for any and everything that makes them look bad. So you only see the "Best of the Best" of the behavior, so imagine what it is REALLY like! But yeah, Judy does not take control, be stern, or correct in a manner that will teach them not to do it again. As smart as JB is, if Judy and Benji were really cracking down on it, she would've learned already, or at least be MUCH better than she is now. She does it daily. It also doesn't help that they are all extremely spoiled. When kids get any and everything they want, they never hear no and therefore expect to get what they want at ALL times. All of it is a recipe for disaster!

Miya seems to need Judy the most right now. Most mothers will naturally help the child that needs them the most. It is not about having favorites. The situation can change. At some point, one of the other girls may need Mom more. Keira is very confident as is JB. Kids rotate their learning often focusing on physical then mental or the other way around. Keira is getting the physical part I wonder if Miya is developing mentally more at this point. Miya seems more in tune with others emotions. I believe she will turn out to be a real sweet heart if she is not bullied (at school or anywhere) kids like this are often bullied. If she is bullied at school, I just bet JB and Keira would jump to her defense! I could be wrong but this is what I think based on this clip. I just want to hug Miya and seeing her smile was wonderful!
Kathylouu Confidence can best be built by a child's own achievements. However, parents can 'sneak' in some help. I knew a father that had a child that was not doing as well as her peers. She needed confidence. One day a bunch of people went fishing and he snuck a fish on his daughter's fishing hook and she thought she caught a fish when no one else did. This boosted her confidence and made her look better to her friends. Maybe it was cheating a bit but this little girl needed help. That one act really helped that little girl.
Sara Coucou I hope you are not implying I called Keira a bully. I did not, nor do I think that. Keira is very goal oriented. I think she is more into getting what she wants or doing what interest her rather than bullying anyone. Same for JB. I think they are very much alike. Having a confident child with interests makes most parents feel good because we don't have to worry as much about their emotions. Of course, we have to be concerned with them getting hurt physically. This type of child is usually tough and can achieve easily. We need Miya's in the world too. Sensitive people are often the caretakers of the world. Don't dismiss this personality type, they often become the nurses, doctors, caring teachers and 'nice' helpful people we need. Emotional intelligence as also been linked with success. A child like Miya will develop emotional intelligence more easily because they are interested in it.

Kathylouu Actually, Judy is doing the right thing by trying to make Miya do it herself instead of causing her to become more dependent on Judy. The whole goal of raising children is to raise them where they can do for themselves not make them be weak and dependent and Judy encourages Myia and all the children to do what she knows they can do but won't try.
Benji is a really good dad. I love how he relates with Julianna, when Judy is busy with the twins. Also how he relates with all the girls in general. Judy is also a great mom. I love how she plays with the girls, and lets them try things on their own, until they get it right (no matter how much they cry) props to this family

The twins always seem to want more milk or food. With their growth spurts Judy you could give them more food and drink so they will be satiated. As twins who have to always share everything, I encourage you to make sure they feel like they have enough food and don't have to hoard or binge later in life.
If she gave too much milk or food they might throw up...

if you watch the earlier vlogs, Julliana has been alittle bit more naughty around the babies and is disciplined really sternly. now she has been kinder and when she hits the babies Judy would always say "Gentle" because Judy knows that Julliana wouldn't cross the line because Julliana nevers.
They do discipline her. And they have in the vlogs several times. So whatever.
Judy told her to be gentle the second she saw it. What do you expect. Her to run over snatch JB up and spank her on cam just to please you? All parents don't resort to that for their kids. JB is still a toddler still learning, and adjusting to the twins. It doesn't make her a "horrid brat" just because she's older than her sisters. She's still 2yrs old. There once was a cup and spoon, miya (the little cutie bear) was happiest when she had her cup and spoon but one fateful day the cup and spoon disappeared she knew her sister keira had something to do with it as she was spotted with it in the baby news. miya was so sad and dissapointed she started screaming for no reason and everyone was worried for little miya, then one day along came the pot and spatula miya was happy again but her life would never be the same without her cup and spoon.

Lakely Babies seem to think whatever someone else has is better than what they have. It is a 'grass is greener on the other side of the fence' thing. Ex. Keira may think what Miya has is better even though they have the same thing. This could be a reason but of course I do not know for sure what they are thinking.

ItsDeeDee90 that would be a constructive way to use the comment of the day segment. there are certainly enough comments about it. and it could be a nice contribution to new mothers that could relate or need help. if they truly want to be transparent, then they could discuss some of the things as parents they need to improve upon...which would make them more relatable.
