Hey I just got those - they look amazing - one question tho - the controller have audio input - and you can plug that in your computer and plug your external speakers into it. With that said - is there a setting on the controller that select 3.5mm jack as a music selection instead of the build in mic? No matter what I do - the "music" option" on the controller always listen to the mic - and outside noises makes the experience meh if you know what I mean.
Jeeez - patience is the key. One min after I asked that question I found the answer. The only way to achieve this is using the app once you install them and pair them with the Govee Home app. There is no way to do this outside the app. The controller will always use the mic as default option. In the app there is a "Music" option - inside is "Music sync from" - and you can choose one of those 3 options App Mic Computer Hope that helps all of you that got bugged by this.

Yes - you found it! That's one of the few things you do need the app for. We're kind of digging the onboard mic!
