She was out of business for 10 years due to an illness so it's understandable why Naomi is more relevant today than Shalom, good thing is that she's back and shinning 😁
Her walk is terrible. She’s rated, which is why she’s not heard about. She’s not memorable.

Same! But I'm miffed at whoever did Naomi's makeup. They went heavy on the powder making her look way more ashy compared to Lorraine & Beverly who both have a lovely glow.
Edit: Linda Evangelista's m/u also looks too mat/chalky & it clashes w/skin from beyond her chin. I wonder if they had the same m/u artist backstage?
It’s funny, to hear Tyra talk about those days now, her and Naomi were the only black models. I loved seeing Veronica in this show. I used to love her.
@@daCubanaqt Tyra’s meant being the topper of the top. Back in the 90s, black models had to put the other one down to be the main, cause they only gave space to one for black models to be the main, unlike others. But that doesn’t mean they only had two black models back in the day, however when they talked about the options of being the main black model, it was either Naomi or Tyra. Stop spreading information or hate that you don't understand.

I don't remember where I read this from. Still, I remember reading an article online saying that modern supermodels of this day and age are forbidden by some designers to "freestyle" and show individual personalities in their catwalks. This probably explains why models nowadays are so rigid and robotic in their catwalks.

I love the entire runway clips, but I really wish they'd use the original music .....
agree, it's impossible to find the original music with most of these vintage runway shows. There must be some copyright deal or something that prevents them from doing it. This music isn't good for this vintage show. I prefer something a bit more fitting to the time. This is just jarring.
