I disagree. If you read Garth Ennis or Jason Aaron's run of The Punisher they are completely opposite. I think surprisingly Ray Stevenson was more closer to the comic book Interpretation. I think both Stevenson and Jane where far better.

They will do it, Disney (who is owner of marvel) has its own streaming service launching next year (or later this year), and Disney is pulling all its content from netflix, and as a revenge netflix is canceling all their shows, because netflix will keep the rights and Disney cant revive them or show them on their service.

Enough with the Disney conspiracy already. Marvel had been pitching new seasons for all of their shows and Netflix decided to not pick them. Since Disney controls Marvel, why would they allow Marvel to ask for new seasons on Netflix if they didn't want that? Meanwhile Netflix has been cancelling a bunch of older shows that aren't even related to Marvel (House of Cards, Orange is the New Black) and many people involved with Daredevil confirmed it was Netflix's decision alone. Do your research before coming up with theories. There are way more convincing conspiracies out there to blame on Disney.

I don't think it was disappointing, its like complaining that Infinity War filmed scenes specifically for the trailer to mislead, but in all honesty is such a great way to market the film. This Trailer got the point of the show across but still mislead you assuming something but to your surprise it didn't happen, its like complaining a trailers saying they're shit because it doesn't show everything. And I'm glad they never met, the two plots never needed too, different morals, different arks, If they met it'd be too much, and too confusing, hard to follow. @Nathan Trinh Well, if any of them are going to survive, it'll be Punisher. DD S3 viewership was apparently down 57% from S2, and Punisher S1 had more viewers than either of them. Plus, Punisher is cheaper to make, and was acquired in a separate deal from the Defenders characters. It's a slim chance, but if the show gets enough viewers it might just survive.

They couldnt have picked a more perfect actor to portray Frank Castle. The Punisher was my favorite as a kid, my dad and I would always go to the comic store near our house. I think some things are a little cheesy in the show but it doesnt ruin anything for me. Its such a good way to show The Punisher and how powerful he is.

I disagree. If you read Garth Ennis or Jason Aaron's run of The Punisher they are completely opposite. I think surprisingly Ray Stevenson was more closer to the comic book Interpretation. I think both Stevenson and Jane where far better.

6.) Has the back of his head kicked sending him straight into the broken glass mirror face first, "once again", this time resulting in multiple glass shards stuck in his face, protruding from his mutilated skin.
As a result, only has a few scsrs on his face.... Very dissapointing.. Calling him Jigsaw would be laughable. They set up Billy perfectly. This story and reason for his face to mutilated was perfect. The fight was epic. They failed to execute the end product that is Jigsaw.

Billy russo would have a lot more scarring realistically, you don't get your face mangled and smashed into broken glass and just walk away with some tiny scars.

Enough with the Disney conspiracy already. Marvel had been pitching new seasons for all of their shows and Netflix decided to not pick them. Since Disney controls Marvel, why would they allow Marvel to ask for new seasons on Netflix if they didn't want that? Meanwhile Netflix has been cancelling a bunch of older shows that aren't even related to Marvel (House of Cards, Orange is the New Black) and many people involved with Daredevil confirmed it was Netflix's decision alone.
Do your research before coming up with theories. There are way more convincing conspiracies out there to blame on Disney.

I don't think it was disappointing, its like complaining that Infinity War filmed scenes specifically for the trailer to mislead, but in all honesty is such a great way to market the film. This Trailer got the point of the show across but still mislead you assuming something but to your surprise it didn't happen, its like complaining a trailers saying they're shit because it doesn't show everything. And I'm glad they never met, the two plots never needed too, different morals, different arks, If they met it'd be too much, and too confusing, hard to follow. @Nathan Trinh Well, if any of them are going to survive, it'll be Punisher. DD S3 viewership was apparently down 57% from S2, and Punisher S1 had more viewers than either of them. Plus, Punisher is cheaper to make, and was acquired in a separate deal from the Defenders characters. It's a slim chance, but if the show gets enough viewers it might just survive.

Modern surgery kinda doesn’t make it plausible for Russo to have his face mangled, plus every time Frank and Billy have a bout, Billy is always left worse than what he was.

I don’t see how they can reboot punisher and make it better. This is as good as it gets. I’m appreciative of another season rather than just getting one. So for those complaining that punisher won’t have another season after 2 should shut up. At least we got another season and by the looks of it it looks like a good send off for frank.

This was by far one of the best streaming series ever filmed. I absolutely love this show and I am still BEYOND disappointed they took these away from us after two seasons each. Pure trash. I could watch 5 more seasons of this show.

The producers said Jigsaw's character would be more about his mind being the puzzle. However it still doesnt excuse the scars. They could have at least toned down the sequence to match this concept.

Is there a chance that the Punisher will appear in the MCU? Feige please don't do recast or reboot. Leave the actors who played their roles in the series. And let them at least be as Cameo or just an episodic role, and then it will be possible to do something with them. I would think of a crossover series to start with by type Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D./Punisher Or they can do it with one of the Defenders or... Cloak and Dagger and Runaways I guess. I hope that someday it will happen because I will not survive the restart. And I will be very angry.

Agreed...using Metallica was kind of cheating, but damn it fit so good (especially with the sound editing, guns chambering to the same rhythm as the intro of One), and now following it up with Alice in Chains...plus the use of Nirvana for the Defenders trailer. The person cutting these trailers is a bloody genius

The Punisher was my favorite as a kid, my dad and I would always go to the comic store near our house. I think some things are a little cheesy in the show but it doesnt ruin anything for me. Its such a good way to show The Punisher and how powerful he is.
