This is real music. Instruments are used and beautiful sounds come out of it. R.I.P Bon and Malcolm.
The Beatles are real music too let’s not forget
YOU'VE BEEN THUNDERSTRUCK !!!! LOL !! BEEN ROCKIN' TO THEM SINCE 1974- AND THEY STILL ROCK TODAY" !! YEAH, I'M OLD BUT NOT DEAD- YET !! 💓
I salute you sir! Keep on rocking \m/
Finally you get to react to one of the greatest live rock bands in the world from "Down-under."..They put on an awesome LIVE show..the staging, the sound quality, and the energy they produce could power a city..Angus the lead guitarist has always dressed as a school boy, this track also appeared in the movie "Battleship" glad you enjoyed it you simply must review more of their songs...Ty as always for your hard work..Keep Well Keep Strong My Friend
AC/DC MATTERED! They never compromised. Straightforward, in-your-face, like a freight train rock and roll.
Love watching Angus Young play guitar running back and forth across the stage in his school boy looking outfit
Ahh finally you been Thunderstruck from the thinder down under. Love it.
The hair are my arms still stands up at the beginning of this song.
If this song doesn’t get your blood flowing nothing will. Greatest rock band Ever
Imagine listening to it “Aussie style”..... If you heard your neighbours playing AC/DC, you’d throw a brick through their window or kick in their front door & complain it wasn’t loud enough 🤘😈🤘🎸🎸🎸🎸
AC/DC doesn't simply play songs, they are anthems.
Your facial expressions are priceless mate. You just got Thunderstruck.... AC/DC style!
AC/DC. BEST Rock and Roll Band by a MILE! Freaking quality right here.
AC/DC had been consistently making albums, but when this album dropped in 1990 they hadn't had a really big hit in over eight years. "The Razor's Edge" re-established the band as one of hard rock's best bands, especially as a live act. Their playing was always tight, and they survived the death of lead singer Bon Scott in 1980 to scale greater heights with new lead singer Brian Johnson (whose chops you enjoyed in this video).
Please react to For Those About to Rock by them. That tour was the first time I seen them live. I was at the very top of the coliseum, when the cannons went off, the wind from them was literally blowing the hair out of our faces. This was my first concert, needless to say, hooked me for life. They are my favorite band.
R.I.P. Malcolm..... This song is so energizing.
Malcolm was so lovely, as is Angus his brother of course. I saw the picture of Angus in tears behind the hearse as Malcolm was being driven away, so sad.
I am an alum and former professor (in broadcasting) at Marshall University. Their team is called The Thundering Herd! They come out of the tunnel to smoke, a Harley with a buffalo “costume” and Thunderstruck plays and the crowd goes nuts!! Watch “Marshall University 2016” and you can get an idea of how much that song gets people and players wound up before the game as they come out! Great experience when you consider the history of the Marshall football team. (They were actually the “winningest” team of the 1990s (more wins than any other college), and I was blessed to be there to see Chad Pennington (a former student) throw to Randy Moss!
I was in my teens in the late 70's now i'm 58, to this day when i listen to AC/DC so do my neighbors
i am the same as you LOL !
AC/CD MATTERED! They stayed true to their straight-at-you, in-your-face, unapologetic, hit-you-like-a-freght train wall of powerhouse music.
Acdc, they never disappoint. They have the most loyal crowds. And they deserve all the adulation, in our humble opinion. Thank you for this.
I’m so glad you heard the original Thunderstruck Now you’re primed to hear “Two Cellos” perform it in an extremely entertaining official video, so many views, don’t miss it , it’s epic.
I am a family of veterans and my son came back home with this as one of his favorite songs!! We introduced this song to my grandsons and it is so amazing hearing 5 & 6 year old boys doing the intro!! LOL Hearing them do the intro is hilarious and sweet at the same time!! Then doing it with my son, their uncle...........AMAZING!!
Try out "It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll" nothing like a bagpipe in a rock song
Damn you’re so right Michael!
RIP Malcolm. You brought Rock to a whole new level that generations to come will love
AC/DC rocks so hard they are the official music for all the Iron Mans.
Many years ago AC-DC did a concert at the Sydney Cricket Ground that went down as the second loudest in history at that time. Only a Who concert in London was louder. 76,000 watts of amplification from memory. AC-DC later did another concert that was even louder than the Who, and since then there have been four concerts by other bands that have done louder concerts but not in Sydney. I was living in Marrickville which is miles away, and it was loud there. I drove over to Paddington and picked up a mate, and we drove down to the Cricket Ground and just parked and lay on the hood of the car listening. It was incredible. There was no need to have had tickets to the show. Next day it emerged that police were swamped with noise complaints across a 10 mile radius of the concert and thegovernment was forced to ban big live music events at the Cricket Ground. Incredible night for fans, but not liked by a lot of people. AC-DC sure can rock, they are amazing. I first saw them before they got big. They were playing on the back of a truck in the street. I knew they would go straight to the top. They had greatness written all over them from the very beginning.
do tell us more
Uncle BobMarley That is not enough? :) There is something magical about those rare music events like that. I will remember it as long as I live. Australians of my generation know them as Acca-Dacca. They were a Sydney band and I was a 20 year old hanging out wherever there was music. I remember the day they released their first album - High Voltage. That and the 2nd album TNT have always been my favorite Acca-Dacca records. Seems unbelievable now but those first couple of albums were released in Australia and New Zealand only, and they worked their a***s off promoting and selling those records. They did the hard work of the unknown musicians trying to get noticed whatever way they could. There is footage of them playing A Long Way To The Top If You Want To Rock n Roll on the back of a truck in Melbourne. That was the moment I realised that they were going to the top. They weren’t just brilliant, they had the drive. Plus one of their brothers was in the Easybeats and they had hits in Europe.
They were also lucky - there is a wonderful man in Australia called Molly Meldrum who had a TV music show called Countdown and he believed in AC/DC, and he put them on television every opportunity he could. There was a real buzz in Australian music at the time and there was a feeling for conquering the world. Not everyone succeeded, but there were great bands. I would see bands like Mental as Anything, Cold Chisel, in pubs and clubs, and down at French’s Tavern one Thursday night was Midnight Oil. So much much good music at that time in the places where it is best, in small venues that were packed with people and energy. But AC/DC always stood out and they epitomized the Australian Dream of the migrant kids who come to the other side of the world and create opportunities for themselves in a new land. It is for me, magic memories.
@@artistjoh much obliged!
Uncle BobMarley :) I tip my hat to anyone with your name (another who had the talent and drive to conquer the world)
It was the Sydney Showground (I was there), next door to the SCG. Read the next day that there were noise complaints in Glebe.
Great show.
The original lead singer, Bon Scott, died in 1980. He was fabulous. Fortunately they replaced him with Brian Johnson who didn't skip a beat and they kept putting out the hits. Their voices are somewhat similar. One of my favorite AC/DC songs with Bon Scott is Ride On. The two guitar players in this video are brothers. Angus is always very animated at concerts while Malcolm was much more reserved. Malcolm got dementia and had to leave the band in 2014. He later died in 2017 :\ I must say that the first time I heard the cannons at their concert I may or may not have peed in my pants (song For Those About to Rock). I wish someone had given me a heads up on that one.
Malcolm was rhythm guitar and Angus plays lead. Generally, lead guitar players are more animated than rhythm guitar players, and usually better known. Though not always.
Excellent reaction! AC/DC is just THE definitive hard rock band!
Do you know what makes your reaction vids better then all the others? You actually listen to the entire clip before you comment! Thankyou for that I have watched many and you are the best!🏆👏👏👏
I appreciate that
100% spot on! I also love how MRM listens to all types of artists. His John Farnham reactions is what made me subscribe to his channel! ❤️
Agree, baby!
I think so too! You have to listen to the whole thing without pause. You ruin it otherwise. 😁
RIP, Malcolm.
Bon Scott the origin singer handpicking Brian Johnson to replace him upon his untimely death in 1980. Scott seen Johnson in a concert and went back to his bandmates telling wild tales of Johnson's concert and his onstage performance. After Scott died while writing the BACK IN BLACK album Johnson became the new lead singer
Brian Johnston puts his all into every song. AC/DC forever!!!
AC/DC may not have the most depth of lyrics to their songs, they might not have the most technically complex instrumentation, but Lord Almighty do their songs make you feel good and have a good time listening! You can't help but bob your head, tap your feet, sing along, and head bang to them! When "Back In Black" plays at the beginning of Ironman, my friend and I instantly started head banging with the "Devil Horns" up in beat to the music. AC/DC just has that effect on people. :D
Gotta love that one handed guitar playing in the beginning though... WHOO-WHEE that looks badass!
Silverblade Dagger They named their Band after their Aunts Sewing Machine 🤣 she sewed Angus clothes! Malcom (RIP) wasn’t very tall either. But those TWO lit it up!
''For Those About to Rock, We Salute You''! AC/DC
Chris Slade is smoking on the drums!
Angus is lightning in a bottle! He is full tilt during the whole concert!
Great description!!
We can thank the Great Chuck Berry for Angus Young's 'Duck Walk', both are Iconic musician's.
rip Malcolm young
Love, love, love ACDC! I used to walk for exercise and their Money Talks really was a great warm up song, though it's more like dancing down the street than walking!.
Danise Miller Money Talks is my favourite song off their album Razors Edge, which was also where Thunderstruck was released.
Fun video. Yeah, AC/DC guitar riffs are some of the most fun things to play. Angus Young is a rock genius.
thanks for listening and not stopping it 20 times to talk lol
I’ll echo Willie’s comment...this song is SO well put together, it builds to several climaxes and is so dam clean, I mean even with a grand pause that virtually all the other reactors miss or don’t mention, it’s a GREAT piece done with excellence. So, good on you for listening to the performance and allowing the group to fully bring the tune to resolution. I just subscribed.
That´s how it goes!!!
Listen to the whole song without stopping the video and THEN comment it.
Good job!!!
I was a kid back in the 80s and remember all the parents talking about how the new style rock was the 'devil's music'. I can remember people saying AC/DC stood for 'After Christ, Devil Comes' LOL I can remember even as a child saying, 'umm...I think they are meaning electricity'. It's sad when kids are the voice of reason over adults. I think this song actually came out in 1990 though the band had been around since the 1970s.
i love me some AC DC they go hard, when i first heard this song, i was blown away, for sure my favorite rock band ever, 🔥🔥🔥
The first time I saw this video, and I saw that Chris Slade was playing drums for them, I went out and bought the album. Found out when they were playing in Minnesota. Bought a ticket. Went to the show. And, bought a concert sweat shirt. I still have it.
Chris Slade was a monster on this song. Love him!
R.I.P. Malcolm Young
That will never not rock! I start out just listening, but by the end I'm head banging. I remember when this came out back in the '80s, and I couldn't even comprehend the energy in this. It's only gotten better as I've gotten older.
This song/album was released in 1990. 🙂🙂 Rock on my friend!!! 🤘🤘
ac/dc is an experience, not just a show. RIP MALCOM
I'm an Australian, when I was in Mexico, first night at our resort me and the boys went down to the beach where there was a live band playing, first song they played was this .. do you think we didn't go off to it ? ✊✊✊✊😅
This is primal. This song grabs you by the caveman.
Another great Australian icon. 🇦🇺
AC/DC my most favorite band!❤ I was blessed to see them in concert August 14, 2009 in Chicago at the United Center for their Black Ice tour. What an incredible experience. I get goosebumps hearing this song(Thunderstruck) and remembering they played this song at the concert. Brings back memories. Love it!❤ Thanks for reacting.❤
Nice I went to their concert, a small one sure in Australia. AC/DC is my favourite band and Thunderstruck is my favourite go to song, I can listen to it all day and not get sick of it, have a good one alright Sin Mtz.
Impossible to not listen to full volume. This song IS power and must be blasted
This is one of the greatest riffs to start off a song.
The Greatest hard rock band of all time
Zeppelin? Sabbath?
They do kick butt. You got the head nod down too. Rock on🤘AC/DC
I was lucky to see them once. I am thankful for that. Kickass rock and rollers. I am 68 now and severe arthritis has ruined my dancing, but I love Angus getting it going, maybe not anymore. They have great songs. ❤️🌹❤️ Many Memories!
There is a video (the official video and not the live version) out there titled 2cellos -Thunderstruck. As you might have guessed, it’s 2 men playing their cellos to this song. It’s crazy and watching them as their bow strings shred to practically nothing is a site to see. You must watch them and their skills. It’s something to behold.
Angus can play better one handed than most can with two hands.
In Australia mate it’s Akka Dakka (AC/DC) 👍🏻🍻
I’ve seen AC/DC 3xs - First time with Bon Scott (RIP) last 2 with Brian Johnson! All 3 times main floor, front row. I couldn’t hear for 3 days! Hells Bells smh he hit it with a sledge hammer! The Bell hangs on Malcolms front porch RIP
Can't go wrong with these guys. Always rocking hard & giving their all. Awesome!
People may disagree with me, and that's OK, but I consider this song to be the greatest Hard Rock son of all time!
its my least favorite AC/DC song.
YOU'VE BEEN T H U N D E R S T R U C K!
To make it even more Awesome... Angus Young (Lead Guitar) does a lot of his playing one handed !
This band is the greatest band you can see in concert! Check out anything from Live at River Plate! It will blow you away! 🔥🔥🔥
RIP Malcolm Young
When I started dating my husband 31 years ago, he asked me if I liked AC/DC.....of course here in the USA the term is used quite differently. Anyway, I was taught that hard rock was Devil music so I told him I didn't care for that demon rock (it is not demon rock and I enjoy it now.) He also asked if I liked Meatloaf and I replied, it depends upon how it is prepared!
@ Siobhan... Who ever told you that AC/DC and other music is Devil music was telling you the TRUTH & obviously Love/Care about you to not want your soul to end up in Eternal Hell. Just because you like the sound of it doesn't mean it isn't demonic. When Lucifer was an Angel in Heaven he was the one placed in charge of all the Music, heavenly music that is, it was the only type of music that existed. Then when Lucifer fell from Grace & sent to the pits of Hell he carried on with the only thing he knew-Music, but this time round Its His Music & his rules. If you want to play, "Sure to get in Hell, Music" just listen to anything musically unspiritual.
Can you believe that they were the opening act , and Cheap Trick was the Main Show..........crazy...........I still love Cheap Trick, but I wished they would of played more.......so that's when they became popular..........And the 2 brothers played the guitars, and just a year or so ago, the one with the blue shirt passed away from alzhiemers......he did a lot of the writing I believe.......so sad and he wasn't that old......
The Bon Scott era. Both bands said it was the most fun and enjoyment they had experienced on the road to that time. They all got on and loved the tours. AC/DC and Cheap Trick , 100% good times had by everyone.
Great tune. My son was the football video coordinator at our high school before he got his first coaching job and he made a highlight video of touchdowns and great defensive plays from a big win, using this song as a background.
Want your mind blown again???? Check out Play That Funky Music by " Wild Cherry ". :) I think Thunderstruck song played when Mel Gibson showed up at the airport on Daddy's Home 2. LOL....Yes!!!! Back in the early 80's our parents were trying to forbid us from listening to stuff like this!
This song reminds me of my teenage party years!
You either listen to ACDC at an ear splitting volume or you’re not really listening to ACDC. Lol.
Fiona McInnis I do it at school pick up and my kids hate it!!
I listen to it in different electric currents.
Oh man great Aussie band, this song was played in the movie “battleship”, think that is were you heard it from. My favourite AC/DC song, it has your toe tapping and head banging. Fantastic guitar riffs!!
Yeah, not bad for two Scottish brothers.
They got it from Ac/Dc not the other way around...Thunderstruck has been around for a lot longer than Daddys Home, but its a cool movie :)
Request please: AC/DC It's a Long Way to the Top - Bon Scott on vocals & bagpipes, you won't regret it (I don't think I'm wrong - over 24 million views here on youtube). This one here though is possibly my favourite of the songs with Brian on vocals. When AC/DC formed, their first singer was Dave Evans - he only lasted a year and one single (Can I Sit Next To You Girl - it's fun in a glamrock kinda way). He was replaced towards the end of 1974 by Bon Scott (my favourite era) and they pretty much stormed to success, specially here in Oz. Bon died in early 1980 and was replaced by Brian Johnson.
Angus Young living legend
Acadaca will forever be fronted by Bon Scott in my head.
@@lynw1623 Thank you!!! Can't believe l said that !!! Damn predictive text, l gotta put my glasses on more. Cheers.
Oh and sorry Bon! R.I.P
Same thing with me, AC/DC was a 'taboo' group around my parents; so I would listen with headphones on. Loved the energy boost it always gave.
ACDC wrote and performed this song years before the movie.
They used it in battleship with the alien invaders when they pulled out sea on the USS Missouri to fight space aliens. It gave me chill when thru that big surf wave.⚓⚓🚤
@Jess W they should have John Lennon wife music Okanono now that torture.🙉🙉🙉😂😂😂
Hey there MRM seems we're making you quite the connoisseur of aussie pub rock!
In a time before we all went digital, or we had grand purpose built arena's, Many "pubs" (or "bars" to you) had large "band-rooms" for performances from groups like AC-DC, Cold Chisel, The Angels, Rose Tattoo and many more. These were all famous for the gritty, loud, booze soaked, raw, rock driven genesis of some of our (locally) famous rock anthems you are discovering.
For an original AC-DC film clip and some rock 'n' roll bag pipes check out "It's a long way to the top (if you wanna rock 'n' roll) Filmed on the back of a truck with original singer Bon Scott (who passed away in 1980), the band drive along one of the main streets in one of our biggest cities. (Not something you'd get away with today).
Always enjoyed AC/DC. Favorites: Moneytalks ruclips.net/video/2lqdErI9uss/видео.html
Girls Got Rhythm ruclips.net/video/GStgyL2Vt44/видео.html

Look up "Jailbreak". An old AC/DC song. They have got older but not changed in almost 50yrs.must be on that Keith Richards juice lol
This is one of AC/DC's better songs, but check out Steve 'N Seagull's version of it. They play it on banjo's, accordians, mandolins and the drummer uses the spoons. It's a pretty good version of Thunderstruck as well.
YES!
Yeah they do great covers of good songs
Passion and energy like no others.
Brought a tear to my eye. Being a young bloke playing this over and over again in your car.👍
Scariest concert I have ever been to in 1980. Malcolm Young (little guitarist that never moves) died two years ago. His brother is Angus (little guitarist that does move).
Aussie rock lives forever.
U must lookl at the Angels - can I ever see ur face again...
That’s funny I was 10 when I went to their concert live. My mother said I couldn’t go, but luckily her friends aren’t big prudes like her. As far as she knows to this day I was over at my friends sleepover when in reality we were all at the concert. Monsters of Rock Pittsburg 🤘
Rip to Malcolm young 💔🙏😢
Saw ACDC in Concert 2X...Once again I was in High School. Loved their unique sound. They may have Always used the same 4-5 chords along with that iconic raspy, 'sandpaper sounding vocal chords and I just gargled with Ajax' voice. But that headbanging bass and drums has always been part of my encouraging get off my butt cleaning the house Music!
Watch these guys live at the River Plate Argentina. You'll have a new appreciation
Brian Johnson the lead singer, recently retired due to hearing problems.
actually i think he's back and touring with them now and will be touring again - probably not a good idea - but i think thats the latest
@@tomas22432 , he had a ruptured ear drum due to not wearing hearing protection while racing cars. He had to miss the last tour while he had it repaired. Last I heard, he was with Angus working on a new album. He tried to deny that he was back for a while. He eventually came clean though. Cliff Williams, the bassist, has officially retired, though. I figure Angus's nephew, George, will rejoin on rhythm guitar again if they tour. If Phil is done, I'd like to see Chris Slade back as drummer, that is him in this video.
Oi Oi Oi - these guys are from Down Under, Australia! You have now been Thunderstruck!! They play this one at the football games in the states all the time. Love these guys! :-)
I Loved the beginning riffs. Don't forget to LIKE, Comment, and share with friends, family and any other social media you have. I appreciate it and Thank you!
Every band member in this video is British....
It WAS on Daddys Home!!! When Will Ferrell first met Mark Wahlberg in the airport. It was awesome entrance with this song! 🙂
I am glad you got to listen to AC/DC. I have been listening to them since the started. Best band in the world, or at least for me. They have helped me through some pretty hard times. You should listen to."Let there be Rock". If you ever get a chance to see them live, GO. Don't matter how old they are, they still rock!!!!
The song was in Daddy's Home 2 for the entrance of Mel Gibson's character down the escalator at the airport.
it was in the first onw when mark wahlberg came down as well
@@Modern-Renaissance-Man Oh yes you're right! The DH2 Mel Gibson entrance was a callback to the DH1 Mark Wahlberg Entrance. You threw me off with the "John Cena motorbike thing" so I only went back to look at that... And here I thought I my memory was so good. I think seeing DH2 after DH1 threw me off as well. And I saw the trailer for DH2 sooooo many times compared to my one and only viewing of DH1. Thanks for the message back.
I love when the song starts to hit you, & you feel it!!!!
Real Aussie music.❤❤
