I thought that Nabeel used better sources to prove his point instead of using others ideas to come to a conclusion. I also don't understand how christians on here can comment so rudely on others religion. It's all about love. Pissing off muslims doesn't cause conversion it causes war.
In case you're not aware, your Koran insults Christians in multiple verses. For example Koran 9:29 says that you Muslims are to kill non believers BASED solely on the fact that non believers DO NOT believe in Islam. Also, koran 98:6 says that Christians are the WORST of all creatures.
So, I hope you can understand now why Christians despise Islam.

Nabeel made a huge mistake in his opening statement.
When Moses was first approached by God by the burning bush, Moses was definitely scared, he denied that it was even God and he also rejected God's offer in order to free the Israelite slaves from Egypt, as the burden was too heavy for him (Which is why God made his brother Aaron do the talking, since Moses had a speech impediment, and also made Aaron do the miracles *turning the staff into snake was Aaron*, did God make a mistake and choose the wrong man for prophethood?).
So I ask Nabeel, would any true prophet reject God's offer, would any prophet be shaken and scared to death and deny God's presence? Would God have to choose that prophets brother to do miracles because the prophet thought it was too difficult? Well, because Moses did.

actually your comment is deceiving...It says Moses was afraid to look upon GOD and he never denied that it was GOD prove it with the bible. Yes he tried to evade the task that GOD gave him because Moses didn't believe in himself so that's why GOD helped Moses with Aaron, but GOD knew the potential of Moses and later on we see Moses leading the people of Israel and we see Aaron making a golden calf and etc. so ultimately Moses surpassed his weakness. The prophet was told to pray 50 times a day, and requested of God to keep making it less, until it became 5 times a day.
If the prophet was one who subjects to the will of God without requesting less then all those in Islam should be praying 50 times a day.
Christian admit that Gods requests are not always easy, and even Jesus Christ prayed to God to not go through with the suffering, yet his will be done.
I would rather talk to God in a coherent manner than in recitations o repetitive words. That God tells Muhammed to repeat prayers so many times a whatever this God did not say to ANYONE in the Bible.

@@Omartabyaoui if God provided no atonement for sin, how is He just ? Without the death of His son, there would be no atonement for sin. He was the sacrificial lamb of the world. Christ preached about peace with a few verses about grabbing the sword, while Muhammad preached about murdering infidels, and beating women into submission. I don’t understand how people say the Bible has been mistranslated and corrupted over time when Muhammad was illiterate.

@Crisanto Ballen here is my favorite one from christianity: god sent his son who is also himself to become a baby and have his creation breastfeed him and change his nappies when he defecates, so that he then gets killed by his own creation in a humiliating way that was somehow enough to atone for all the rape, killing torture and other atrocities that happened in the world from that point on. And the only way to paradise is to worship the simbole on wich he was killed.

That is not what those passages say. It is a question posed by the disciples, Jesus did not affirm such a thing. This is a terrible misreading of these passages. It’s not even a misinterpretation. It’s just flat out a blind reading. Did he tell you that Jesus didn’t say anything eschatological in that passage? On the contrary, he said He does and that is simply not true. Repenting of your sins, that means to have a remorse for your sins which causes you to turn away from them. This has to be true in your heart. Now, what does Allah require of you? i need advice a few months ago i started looking into religion Christianity and i was reading the new testament and i noticed inconsistency and a bunch of contradictions and that there is no original ancient manuscript of the new testament only a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy when i realized this that i started reading the quran and reading on the prophet muhammad peace be upon him and im still confused can any one help me

It NEVER fails. Critique Christianity, which is subjective, but never give a convincing argument for their ascribed religion. Furthermore, I am skeptical of people who make an argument from sources that only critique Jesus. An abundance of such sources at that.

i just wonder why muslim debaters always primarily use books written by pholosophers. why don't they use something from divine source like the Holy Bible. or why don't they use the Quran to teach us the truth. it is simply peoples philosophy and ideas that we can get by reading books written by scholars. but if we read the Bible which is the perfect word of God a book which has a divine inspiration

@Ali Abdullah they don't believe in "another" prophet after Muhammad. They believe that their prophet is a reincarnation of a previous prophet. (and if I remember correctly, Islam teaches that at the very least, Jesus, if not Muhammad and/or others WILL return. Ahmadi Muslims simply believe in the return; they do not believe in a new prophet. So there is no contradiction their. Also, they adhere to the 5 pillars of Islam and they belive in the Qur'an above all else.
You may certainly argue that their theology is wrong, but by Islamic standards, Ahmadi Muslims are still Muslims

Do you remember the part of the debate where they discuss Daniel? Well, in the second chapter of the book of Daniel, Nebuchadnessar sees a "great image" with a "golden head", "silver arms and breasts", "brass belly-thighs", and "iron feet with toes of clay". Mohammed was not the false prophet, Islam come to look after the affaires of the believers - both muslim and non-Muslim, and both will have different laws that they must abided by under the Islamic government. God can be in many different places at one time. He is not limited as we are. Jesus came to this earth to die for our sins and He went back home. As far as quran as word of god? No proof! There isn't a credible, non Muslim secular Archaeologist that can ever verify its claims!
But even inside the Koran, there is no evidence that the GOD of Abraham ever gave his greeting he gave to Moses: namely GOD always says: I am the GOD of Abraham, the GOD of Isaac, and the GOD of Jacob, GOD never gave the greeting!

Early Hebrew (long form): Yehoshua' = Yod + He + Shin + Waw + 'Ain
Later Hebrew (short form): Yeshua' = Yod + Shin + Waw + 'Ain
Arabic (Christian): Yasu' = [Ya] + [Sin] + Waw + 'Ain
Arabic (Muslim): 'Isa = ['Ain] + [Ya] + Sin + Ya
Therefore, the Muslims whom spoke Arabic lied when they said it was the name of Jesus in Arabic!
Notice then how the name Isa reverses what would be, in the Hebrew root meaning, the Yod + He is in tact in the rest of the original languages, but Islam which does not have an original language discombobulates the Yod He consonant construction.
The Arabic Yod + Shin is a direct translation from the Hebrew original, thus it is correct, but the Muslim Arab destruction of the original hebrew is obviously not associated with any human lanaguage, it simply destroys the name which GOD have for salvation!
Therefore, Islam seeks to destroy both the meaning of the name which was given by heaven, to men under heaven where by men must be saved, and seeks to replace the name!
It does this because it is the cult of the the Antichrist, which seeks only to replace and destroy or reverse the name which heaven gave so that men could be saved, in order to stop the salvation which GOD brought to mankind, by HIS own blood!
This is how opposite Islam is to Christianity, it is Satan's religion, which seeks to reverse GOD's work and effort to save mankind!

As a Catholic who studied Apostolic writings and the early Church and it's teachings I could demolish Paul Williams's arguments very he cannot use the early Church to support arguments which could shed light on this subject but he uses scholars with dubious scholarship.

Religion and this poses many substantial questions to the way that "The Church" Is not a building or traditional church as seen mainly in the COE and Catholic demoninations. If you'd like my story you can privately message me! I actually began researching Christianity through the lense of the more "Evangelical"(if you find that term savvy enough) before even considering Catholicism. And actually my friend told me "I'm worried you won't get you're feed of spirituality and 'win with the spirit' ". I think you are under the same assumption that Catholicism is a 'dry' "I will do this because the Pope said so" type of branch of Christianity. However I have found it even more enhancing in Catholicism than Protestantism. "Eating the word" as you put it- is the most intimate thing our saviour could EVER have done for us as well as being the most astonishing form of 'relationship' with Jesus that anyone could have. And in regards to the Church not being a physical structure. I was actually taught in the begining of my journey of Christianity that the Church is "invisible" instead of "visible" which is what you would vouch for more as I can see as well as the person in regards to the book you recommended me to read. I learnt that scriptural wise- it's an impossible concept to defend and only Catholicism can fufill what scripture actually teaches "AS A WHOLE" instead of "snippets".
