That’s hearsay. Many cookware items around the world are made from aluminum. Why complain only about Kazan? So far, there is no proof of lead contamination.
@@AhnDhyYhu It's actually not hearsay at all, and yes, there is proof. Some time ago, Amazon removed these from their catalog entirely. They have tested positive for high levels of lead. This is just one of many studies you can read about. "After scientific detective work and years of study, environmental experts for King County finally nailed down the cause of high levels of lead in the blood of some immigrant children. They determined the children, largely new arrivals from Afghanistan, were being slowly poisoned by the traditional cookware their families brought with them from their native country. “Each scan takes about 60 seconds,” said Fellows as she held her XRF gun up to a pot from MenGrills. The scan showed 1,218 parts per million of lead in the body of the cooker and 34,000 parts per million in the brass valve in the cooker’s lid. That’s a lot of lead. Ideally, cookware contains zero amount of lead, Fellows said."
@@AhnDhyYhu It was found out after a bunch of kids from a turkish community in Seattle were getting sick. After blood tests and such, it was found out they had high level of lead in their blood. Some of the kids have permanent damage because of it
@@AhnDhyYhuactually, there is proof that these pots, made from aluminum that's sourced from recycling used engines, themselves having been made with varying amounts of lead, also contains lead. These are unsafe to use.
Well well. Another owner of this fantastic pressure cooker and a Perterson pipe. Love my pressure cooker. Got a few Petersons myself (Churchwardens, etc.) among my collection. Now the question: what is your pipe tobacco? Great clip by the way. Have you tried some wine in your recipe?
