This was a Farrelly Brothers film. They make a few great comedies. My favorites in this order Something about Mary, King Pin, Shallow Hal and The Heartbreak Kid (2007) not the original.

One of my favorite comedians from the 90's was Chris Farley. RIP. You guys should checkout his movies Tommy Boy and Black Sheep. Beverly Hills Ninja was alright, but I wasn't huge on the storyline.
Chris Farley only had his moments when he was funny, that was it. The guy was so sad and tragic that it overshadowed his humor, the fact that the writers just made him out to be the “fat buffoon” was just heartbreaking. Tommy Boy was his only hit movie… he went way downhill after that. I personally liked Black Sheep better than Tommy Boy… but Beverly Hills Ninja was crap as well as Almost Heroes which was his last movie
my favorite parts are when Lloyd is dreaming about taking Mary on a date and does a blue angel fart. And when Harry and Lloyd see a couple walk past them and Harry says look at the butt on that and Llyod replys yeah he must work out... hehe

The two movies that followed this movie weren't nearly as funny. This movie however is a classic comedy film that never gets old.

Instead in the sequel Harry was raised by an Asian family. Which of course didn't add up. Also in the beginning of the sequel Harry says Mary's last name is Samsonite. When in the first movie both Harry and Lloyd know full well that her last name is Swanson.

What I love is how everything they do turns out to be huge coincidence… the villains knocked on their door and when they look through the peephole they see him with the gun so they automatically assume that it’s because they didn’t pay the gas bill. So they refer to him as “gas man” when he has problems with gas because of his ulcer lol 😂
