Hats off to dad, getting his sons involved is the best. The dream lives on.
You guys have an awesome dad, allowing you guys to be the faces of the company. Well done to all!

I concur. My boys dread coming to shop😱
Two brilliant young men. Well done.
Hello,
Daniel, Jonathan, and Phillips have a very nice workshop... great to hear the guys taking so confidently about the machines they run...
Take care.
Paul,,
Great tour, beautiful clean shop, and two enthusiastic young men. Hats off to the dad giving them the guidance and opportunity. Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦🇿🇦
Congratulations to Roger Phillips for his business, but mainly for forming his two kids with that character. Definitively that's his main accomplishment, has nothing to do with money. I can see from his son Daniel, the knowledge and certainty he's about everything on that shop. Well done!
These old Okuma lathes are great.
Thanks for the video.
Beautiful shop!! And an excellent presentation. I have no doubts your being excellent craftsmen!
Congrats, you gave your next generations a brilliant future and a life full of satisfactions!
Good to see a nice shop in VA
Machine shop tours are great. We did a tour of Hahn manufacturing in our travels. They make crazy big parts like 6' tall connecting rods. We did a video also and David Hahn gave us the personal tour. Its great to see businesses like this have multiple family members being apart of it. Great video.
Thank you for showing your shop. It is very nice and clean shop. I love it from Reno, Nevada.
Nice to see a small shop with a tool room.
Massive productivity gains in quick turnover medium up volume shops.
Awesome shop!
Two very small Boys glad to see them focusing on the future!
Really nice shop, very impressed. Makes my 3000sq ft shop look tiny and under equipped.
We encourage our customers and suppliers to visit our company to see our engineering services in Buckinghamshire, and the achievements we reach using our technologically advanced machine tools and equipment. We strive to move forward via continual improvements with lean manufacturing and business management techniques implemented throughout the organisation.
Nice shop you guys
I love that cart to hold raw bar stock! Is that something you bought or did you fabricate it yourself? If you made it yourself do you have drawings so we could make one for our shop? Great tour by the way!
I'm really curious how many employee you guys have except the family? I am a new growing shop and I'm curious to how big I can grow with out hiring anyone (except my wife). I thought I could not run more than 2 mills, and maybe 2 lathes without needing to hire someone and I do like buying more machines so I'm just super curious
I have a friend who has a small shop like you are envisioning now. It has three CNC mills and two CNC lathes. The shop has two people my friend and his friend, in a small garage and making a ton of money with the high precision machines. If you have already a market, don't hesitate , go for it!
@@dougtowers Thanks, I'm just a 2 machine shop but I hope to grow, both in machines and local customers as I do 90% of my work for Xometry
