Chris, What does that suggest to us as dark/brown skin people? Remember how many years our forefathers were locked up and with no freedowm. I wonder if it is fear that staying inside is more unsafe than being outside in the open. At least they can see what is happening around them. It might look as disorder but the black person believes in open interaction. Plus the weather is hot so being in the market house can be dark and humid. Just thinking wildly.

Wode bless your genuine kind heart. Seeing that lady full of tears of joy touched my heart.
Historically from what I know regions like Durban, Cape Town, George and the Eastern Cape in South Africa were the regions colonised heavily by the British while the other regions were more occupied by the Boers (Dutch)and so the names should be from that influence too.
I know that the British took the East Indians to Durban to work on the sugar plantations for them and the Malaysians to Cape Town who would later be called Cape Malay after also mixing with the Africans there overtime. This is why I noticed that Durban was mostly populated by the East Indians, Zulus and the British.
It was the same thing when I visited Zimbabwe with Victoria being a common name for streets and historical monuments/sites.
I read about the Shembe and the Zion people for the first time on the New York Post and I always wanted to meet them.
They have DNA directly from Israel since they migrated from Israel to Mozambique, Eswatini, South Africa and other parts of Africa.
Their practices are still the same as they were when they were in Israel anciently. I met one of them on my visit and they truly are amazing prophets with some strong visions and prayers. Really gifted people many of them.

you're incorrect, I'm British and I know the Dutch colonised The Cape and the western parts of SA . George and CT are in western parts. The British colonised the eastern parts where Durban and East Cape regions are

These are mothers we need to celebrate, l think its never been easy for her generation but she keeps pushing as mother to put food on the table. she has a beautiful heart . Thanx Maya for great works
