I live in upstate New York, Syracuse. And I remember when I found out we had tree frogs around here. I was probably like 13 and I just thought it was the most amazing thing. Grey Tree Frogs and Spring Peepers are really cool tree frogs.

@@AnimalsatHomePodcast I setup a few enclosures and am letting them cycle. I'm hoping next month to get a couple pair.

Hell yeah, since dart frogs are much more diverse while reptile keepers mostly just have created geckos and leopard geckos, booringggf

Dude whats with the hate towards cresties and leos? All reptiles and amphibians are awesome.

@@WhoTheHellIsHarvy they are in a way, but there's just too much repetition and it grows bland. Those two species in particular are pretty boring to me anyways, they just kind of sit there and that's it. Although, I do enjoy my female leopard geckos voracious appetite

Well I would ask that you let me know what diverse gecko info you are looking for. I have cresties and Leo's but also just did a 100 gecko listing on instagram.

I honestly believe it all depends on their owners and how they treat them, how their enclosures are set up etc.For as long as I've had them, my leos have been really active, lively and curious little animals. I rearrange their enclosures every 5 months or so. I try to make them as interesting as possible and give them areas to climb, hide etc. Same with my snakes. Honestly it makes such a big difference.Cresties are naturally shy animals in the wild too, but I see so many enclosures that are just so open and don't provide anywhere near enough foliage and cover for them.
With a good diet, interesting and well functioning enclosure, you should see good healthy behaviour from them.

Tbh reptiles are super diverse if you’re interested in them. I’ve got rhino rat snakes, red sided garter snakes, and a cali king but I’m looking to get smooth green snakes, vine snakes, blood python, img boa, African egg eating snake, beauty snakes, bamboo snake and a bunch of other cool stuff
