From the 1969 Study Guide: "Almost all persons who complete suicidal acts have left many previous indications of their anxiety and stress--in effect, they have cried out often for someone to save them.
This filmstrip develops these and related facts about the phenomenon of suicide in general, and the psychological and social aspects involved in effective prevention techniques. The adolescent suicide, such a great tragedy to all involved and such a needless loss to society, requires special emphasis from each health educator. No problem is more urgent, nor more amenable to solution; it only requires thoughtfulness, sensitivity and care."
