For so many years this fight has been treated as a 'savage farm' for light/tomes or other things being the fastest/easiest so it's nice to see it getting treated like a proper fight.
Yeah it wasn't the hardest fight but it was nice that it didn't immediately fall over
Nice kill! I have lots of fond memories of this savage when it came out, even though it's notorious. A8S is probably still my favorite savage floor, is very close with O12S. Hope you keep going and check it all out, experiencing the progression of raid design in this game is a real treat.
Yep I plan on doing everything in (mostly) the order it came out in! This footage is a little bit old but so far I've done the entire Alexander and Omega series BLIND with MINE on all. Great fights!
I remember when the tier first came out, and Faust was a door boss that most groups couldn't get past for awhile.
I'm not sure how long ago this was, but if you're looking for "best in slot" at min ilvl, you'll either need to grab higher ilvl gear so when it's synced down it still has maxed secondary stats, or you get gear at the ilvl of the duty and overmeld it with materia.
Congrats on clearing content that a big portion of the playerbase didn't do and on MINE too! I cannot wait to see you do the savage raid in Stormblood!

Sir, you need materia melded for that low level gear to be useful. Without materia, gear 100+ item levels above is synced down better. You can test this by entering alone and checking your character stats
