Its refreshing. Im getting tired of this new texas music vocal arrangement and lyrical formula that reminds me of nashville.
its not out of no where. Its well written but definitely rooted in prine and other americana of 2000s back to texas staples but with the edge of patsy loretta and a healthy dose of reverb.
If you think it isnt predictable then check out that guy that wrote that viral song made of fox talking points in with a similar vocal delivery.
She is a great lyricist.. i love her music. I know that sounded negative. Id like to watch her develop. I think she could blossom into a great. She grabbed my attention and emotions the same way luke bell and charley crockett did. This is what i hope she maintains as she grows.

I think this under appreciated new wave is going to right the ship and push people past this cheesy ‘red dirt neo muscle shoals, hmmed up drawls, and flat rock riffs’ that feel disingenuous, or at least misguided, stuff thats been coming out. It reminds me of the waves of grunge and eddy vedder imitators that kept coming long after vedder and his first impersonators were forgotten.

You should replace the 15m video of Tchaikovsky's 1812 with the 16m track in your playlist. I don't remember why there's a difference in duration, but I strictly listen to the 16m version.
When I run, the 16m track almost lines up perfectly with the various stages. The only issue I have is my largest hill, 12.7%, starts at 12m, but it still works.

The Colorado river used to be called the green river just like in that one creedence Clearwater song.
The Green River is the chief tributary of the Colorado. It rises in Wyoming and flows into the Colorado in Utah.

Year's go by while I waste my time and I still can't move out the city.
So I really like this song, but the phrase yellow Verde river really gets me. It's literally saying on the banks of the yellow Green River. Just saying, man, it bugs me. But the song is awesome.

Just because the entire river is named Verde doesn’t mean it can’t be referred to as yellow. There’s sections of the Verde River that can get pretty muddy, giving it a yellow look. She’s also talking about finding gold along the banks of it, so maybe the yellow is the gold she’s referring to. I dunno ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
