The level of detail added with actual funny humor is a testament to the adventures in the group. This series is actually funny. I'm a hardened retired army veteran that stumbled onto VLDL about 3 years ago. These guys have my type of humor. I hope they produce content for a long time.

My rule is generally most creatures that are "stupid" or animals only acting on instinct or in self defense will move on from an unconscious player onto a more active threat. Going for the coup de grâce on a downed PC implies a level of intelligence or malice that mostly only big bads and mini bosses have. The hag is definitely a boss and would have at least considered it!! It's also believable that she's a lonely old hag who only has her pets for company and she would be upset by their deaths so she prioritized them. Like Ursula! Totes reminds me of the little mermaid villain! Love Rob's big, beautiful brain and his creative storytelling!

That part where they try to add everything is so funny and confusing 😆 And daaaamn, Bob doing his bob-dive again. This session is so wild, we got to see Bob's nat 20s and Greg's poor state...
It's cannon in the Epic NPC man that Greg never leaves his shop, a shadow clone of him goes off adventuring then dies when he returns. So if "Greg the Artificer" dies then out of the woods could show up "Greg the Cleric". Confused as to how those other guys got there, with no memory at all of anything going on up to that point. Or a group of dead clones of the rest of the gang who had slightly different adventures having just died leaving him the only one alive. It would be a great thing to see the guys come back home to find themselves standing there and have to ask if they should die or move on knowing they can never go home. Also i hope at least one of them is smart enough to ask for something like a warlock patron but for just one or 2 spells. Getting everyone a healing spell they could use 2 times a day would be great.
It probably doesn't mean much coming from random, but this is genuinely so entertaining to watch. An amazing story, with amazing characters (and players (and dm, don't worry Rob I love you too)) that genuinely brings so much joy. I hope this doesn't end any time soon because I will genuinely be lost.
Great episode and finally such an interesting and a tense battle! Watched it at night and woke the whole house up with my reactions. :) Wonderful cliffhanger as well. I've watched from day 1 and this is the worst cliffhanger! Soon as Rob said "she uses her reaction" I went from YEAH BOB to RUN BOB!
It's cannon in the Epic NPC man that Greg never leaves his shop, a shadow clone of him goes off adventuring then dies when he returns. So if "Greg the Artificer" dies then out of the woods could show up "Greg the Cleric".
Confused as to how those other guys got there, with no memory at all of anything going on up to that point.
Or a group of dead clones of the rest of the gang who had slightly different adventures having just died leaving him the only one alive.
It would be a great thing to see the guys come back home to find themselves standing there and have to ask if they should die or move on knowing they can never go home.
Also i hope at least one of them is smart enough to ask for something like a warlock patron but for just one or 2 spells.
Getting everyone a healing spell they could use 2 times a day would be great.

It probably doesn't mean much coming from random, but this is genuinely so entertaining to watch. An amazing story, with amazing characters (and players (and dm, don't worry Rob I love you too)) that genuinely brings so much joy. I hope this doesn't end any time soon because I will genuinely be lost.

This is by far the best D&D group out there! The comedy, the reenactment and the great DMing is so well done.
