Dupont Cavalcade of America broadcast “The Road to Berlin” on NBC which dramatizes Bing’s USO tour through England and France in August-October 1944. He is joined by his USO troupe for the performance. All the photographs are from Crosbys USO tour through Europe. Beside him and the troops, they include the other members of his USO touring group, their names are listed in the broadcast, and two further celebrities with whom Bing crossed paths suring the months on the road - Dinah Shore and Fred Astaire.
