    It went to a great home you you did an awesome job. So glad you appreciate the scale details of the scale car series cars. They are very special representations of the real cars of the day.

    I was about 16 or 17 walking into the hobby shop to get parts for my kyosho buggy and the guys had one of these ripping it out front. I was amazed at how fast it was. Time goes by fast, things sure have changed in rc and the world. You did a great job building it. It's beautiful man.

    That thing looks super good. How many people asked why u didn't mask up the little bit of black and paint the red first then u could have painted ur black over the whole inside for backing. Super cool ride and video

    • @RCRetro
      @RCRetro  Год назад

      I didn't want to back the red with black. It changes the color of the red. I wanted a more vibrant red. So I backed it with white. Then I backed the white with red because where the cutouts are for the side vents you'd be able to see the white. If I backed it in black, again the red would be darker and you'd see the black outline around the cutout where the side vents are.. So I decided to do those small black areas last. Hope that made sense lol...

    Great build but the Robbe Testarrosa is even more detailed and scale than the Kyosho version with painted Ferrari red hard body and was the only R/C model with Enzo's approval. A full option light kit and speed control were a must to bring it to life. I almost want to send you my pro built Full option model and NIB with all the Robbe paperwork and some old magazines covering the Ferrari with reviews. It is truly a work of art for a museum and my Holy Grail of R/C the attention to details send it over the roof.

    It's interesting how some companies like Kyosho and Team Associated used some of their pre-existing off road chassis to use them for on road purposes.

      That is a very good point. Well it worked for them...

      Yes Kyosho put out a few (many) on this chassis...

    So beautiful 👌🏻 I hade the F40 in mint, but sold it 😩 Got 400$ for it on eBay tho. I also had the Ferrari f1 643 but in 1:8 scale (!). Plus many more 😅

    I really want to find one of these to build. I had one back in early 90s the countach. I cannot find a new in box.

  • @bradkalman2353
    @bradkalman2353 Год назад

    They should have made this car mid-engine because it was in real life or I mean place the motor in the and those tires would get good wet traction.

  • @bradkalman2353
    @bradkalman2353 Год назад

    Firestone hardware's concern that was all messed up you could have soaked it in three in one oil for a long time and they would be back to normal again.

    Why are you running the msc resistor when you are running a esc???what am I missing?

    • @RCRetro
      @RCRetro  Год назад +1

      I only put the MSC resistor on there for show... I am going to run this 1x... lightly and then send it to the shelf. When I do... the MSC will go back into the car....

    Nice build, i love Tamiya and Kyosho and Robbe. I have the Corvette and i have 2 Robbe Testarossa's one new in box and one with full option installed. Nowadays im getting back into collecting 1/43 Kyosho Dnano cars and the specific for them home circuit track. ruclips.net/video/aqO2dVyC1-Q/видео.html
