  • Today I show you the process for turning a 3d model into something that can be printed out on a piece of paper! This is perfect to add scatter pieces to your existing Warhammer, kill team or any other tabletop rpg or wargaming board.
Here is a link to the models I made:

Very creative. I've found other printable paper terrain online, but never thought to create my own. Well done!

Are these durable enough to support metal miniatures of various sizes on top of them?

      Using thick cardstock possibly…

Recently bought a laminator for a different project, this gives me ideas...

In my other paper video I make a battlemat as well, would be totally worth it to laminate something like that so you could change out your table surface whenever!

nice, a simple advice would be to show the full board with all the printed terrain in its full glory for 30 seconds or so, at different angles, that will make it more interesting!

I'm wondering if a thin layer of matte Mod Podge would help strength the pieces of terrain.

Mod podge will make inkjet ink run out of the paper unfortunately, using thicker paper cardstock is probably best to increase longevity. A laser printer wouldn’t have the ink issue, but most laser printers won’t be able to print on cardstock.

Hey when downloading your paper models or getting them from drive through rpg do we need to do the hard work you did to make them flat? And if not can I just print them out on my printer at home?

They are setup and ready to be printed

Blender is free and you can use the free version of pepakura designer to do this, I used the free version in this video.

The whole board with the monitor for a background was great, maybe for another video find a way to make a game mat? That's really what get everyone, after you get terrain and minis you realise you need a giant grass mouse pad at least
