Hey guys! Thought I would answer some FAQ here since I'm seeing a lot of similar comments! -Only the silicone Frigg pacifiers have been recalled. We use the rubber ones, which are totally fine. -We never used our infant carseat with Rowan outside of the car. I babywore him anytime we had to go in somewhere and it felt so much easier to me! To each their own but that's what works for us. -Thank you for the love on my makeup! I'll try to do a tutorial soon but here are the products I usually use! www.shopltk.com/explore/meganeacuna/posts/66baa1f3-3912-11ec-85fc-0242ac110003
@Megan Acuna I'm 17w with my rainbow baby. I have two angel babies. I don't know if its allowed but I'd live to buy the single stroller from you if you're willing to sell it
Lactation Consultant here: at my practice, we see a lot of problems that come from those home scales. We see moms who believe their baby is either getting enough and isn't or is getting enough but the scale shows they are not. That leads to mothers giving expressed milk or formula which interferes with your baby's communication with your body and it creates a supply problem that did not exist.
I don’t know the situation in America, but in Austria you can borrow a proper baby scale for 1-2€ a day. Since you only need it for maybe first few weeks, i think that’s waaay cheaper and more reliable option. Maybe something to look into?
We have the mockingbird double stroller and LOVE IT! All the different conversions you can do are so convenient, it’s functional, it’s pretty, and we’ve been able to fit it (disassembled) in our tiny sedan with even enough room for groceries. Oh, and it’s super easy to assemble and take apart. As for cost, yes $600 is not NOTHING, but compared to other strollers, it’s still quite affordable. And a stroller is definitely something to splurge on in my opinion (as a mom who often takes both kiddos on outings by myself). Not sponsored, just huge mockingbird fans!
Hey! I have a 17month old & these are my recommendations: •graco extend to fit car seat 3 in 1 •swing (no bouncer) •changing table especially for c section mommas •diaper caddie for baby room & one for your room •silicone eating utensils & plates •wipe warmer •diaper genie •Hatch
The Graco swing is something I literally hear no one ever talk about. It's so underrated yet so good. We have one and we love it. It's amazing because you can pop the seat off and put it sideways so the rocking motion is going up and down ish instead of side to side. Honestly more people need to be talking about it but the mamaroo has all the hype
Be careful with the scale. I went overboard with weighing my baby (she was a preemie) before and after every feed and it just made me super anxious and almost cost me my milk supply because babies don't always eat the same amount, which my mom brain just interpreted as me starving my baby when she was fine. Baby is fine if she produces enough wet diapers and it's enough if you weigh her every week.
I have the mockingbird double stroller and I LOVE it! 😍 if I’ve learned anything my second time around being a mom, it’s what to spend a little more on and invest in and for me it was definitely the stroller. You can also convert it to a single if it’s ever just you and one baby at times. You have options to choose from and the way it rides is just a dream. I have a 2 year old and a 7 month old. 😊
We are currently switching from silicone to bamboo! The silicone absorb both the soap taste and smell. We’ve tried every brand. They are awful. We feel so bad we didn’t realize until recently that all our babes food tastes like soap 😰. The wipe warmer… YES 🙌🏼. Everyone says they are excessive but our baby was born in December and we used it until he was like 6-7 months. They were great. No issues as we throughly clean everything plus you really fly through wipes easily lol. Great video! I never bought a donut (even with a third degree tear 😣) but will definitely get a good one when I have baby #2.
Hi, I would like to share a tip. I got a perineal cushion from a friend of mine and even took it to the hospital with me. It does really help (i also had to pump so I had to sit leaning forward a lot), BUT a midwife saw me use it and she said not to. It puts a strain on your stiches and can stretch them or open the wound again. I then switched to just adding a soft pillow even if I was sitting on a sofa and it basically works just as well. I think that donut pillow is just unnecessary.
The best swaddle!!!!! Used it from newborn all the way up to 5months. Then I switched to halo sleep sacks because they were much cheaper and wash very well 1.0tog for year round wear.
I’m 14 weeks and found you while we were trying so I binged Rowan’s pregnancy and newborn videos and was sooo thrilled when you announced and we are now only a week a part!!! This is my second baby but my oldest is 7! So it’s like doing it for the first time in some ways! It’s crazy how much has changed in the baby industry just since my daughter was born!!! I have always LOVED the name Juniper and am excited y’all will be using it! So super sweet!!!
For the hatch scale, we loved it! I had initially planned to use it for weighted feeds and it wasn’t great for that because down to the ounce it isn’t super accurate. BUT. Seeing his weight trend up every couple of days definitely made me feel better.
Found your channel yesterday after finding out I’m pregnant and I’m BINGE watching you. Obsessed with the how helpful your videos are. Also CONGRATULATIONS BABE🖤
Some people really don’t feel like wipe warmers are necessary and I didn’t at first either but every time I’d change my sons diaper he’d scream and cry so he was less than a week old when I went and bought a wipe warmer and I loved having it it made diaper changes much smoother
I’m also pregnant with my second, a baby girl and have a baby boy who’s almost 2 and just found your channel!! Funny how we’re on such similar journeys!! I find it hard to resist not buy too many cute girly outfits cuz she can totally reuse the same clothes my son had!! Bows are a good compromise to make them a tiny bit girlier hahaha 😇
Hey Megan! I'm a girl mom! One thing you need to be aware of with bows is that they will not stay on your baby's head when she gets a little older (like 2-3 months) if she has a lot of hair! They slip right off! My baby girl could wear the headwrap bows when she was first born for her newborn pics, but then her hair just got longer and longer and wouldn't stay on her head. So she has been in clip in hairbows most of her life! We had to switch out all of her head wraps with clip in hairbows lol. Just something to be aware of if your baby has a lot of hair. I remember Rowan had a lot when he was born.
Wipe warmer was a waste of money for us, it dried them out and i unplugged it after a week.. Baby will get used to the wipes. But you will do whatever works for you. 🙂
It's been a long time since I've purchased anything for a baby or toddler, but I still watch because I love your channel! I also want to add that your makeup looks awesome, Megan!
We got the Evenflo pivot xpand modular for a travel system! It came with a car seat, car seat base, the stroller system & a toddler seat (that doubles as bassinet!) we love it because, it will transform into a double stroller when we have baby #2 & it’s super convenient when you have the car seat bc it snaps right into the stroller!! Got it from target (just the plain black color!) but there’s other colors!
I'm with you on the never using the infant car seat. My son would fall asleep in the car but as soon as we put him in the carrier he went back to sleep. That's one of our regrets!
I’m due with my second in April and we decided to actually not get a double stroller at all. I purchased the Wonderfold Wagon. I got the w4 (4 seater) because we do *most likely* plan on having more kids in the future. But I love it because of the amount of space and the fact that I can put my son who is 14 months right now in the front of the wagon and place the baby in the back in a boppy. I plan on baby wearing most of the time so once the baby is a little stronger I’ll be able to just place him or her in the back and the kids have so much room, I have the ease of so much space for storage and it fits perfectly in our car and doesn’t at all hinder us when we go thru aisles in the store. This one goes for 595 on Amazon with different color choices but we actually scored one on Facebook marketplace for 450 so we were ecstatic. I was having so much anxiety thinking about spending so much money on a double stroller then my cousin recommended this product and we were sold. I absolutely love it and have had soooo many compliments from other parents/ grandparents haha. Definitely look into it!!
Love your car seat recommendation. A more affordable option is the Graco slim extend to fit 3 in one. We love ours. Our baby was big so he grew out of the infant size one quickly & the extend to fit was great. We got it on one of their sales & it was only $100!😁
I did this for the last year and a half and thought I was crazy for researching before I was even pregnant. We FINALLY got pregnant and my registry is completely done at 12 weeks because of all the research I did
I have a 7 month old I spend 36 dollars a week on formula cause she eats 3 cans a week, She’s only 7 months but she wears size 12 months clothes we have to buy more clothes every couple months. I spent a ton of money on diapers in the beginning cause the formula she was on had probiotics and would go through 48 diapers in a week we were on nutramigen then switched to similac soy she has a milk allergy so she can only have formulas with no milk. And we give her probiotics that are in drops and not in the formula so she poops but isn’t totally constipated either. I did spend about 7 dollars a week on gas drops but we don’t need that anymore. Everything else that’s a toy or a stroller is from baby shower or parents
Something we did learn was the lid can get moldy! Others recommended wiping lemon essential oil into it to help inhibit it, but research what works for you!
Hi Megan, love your videos. Just a word of advice on the wipe warmer, they can harbor bacteria and I didn't know that. My son ended up with a bladder infection when he was a month and a half old and we were hospital for a week. I didn't end up using it afterwards and he never got another one. Wishing you all the best in this pregnancy ❤️
Thank you for this video!💕 first time mama here and my biggest things are only buying what baby girl needs but keeping it to our aesthetic. I changed a couple items on my registry thanks to you, wishing you and your family the absolute best🥰✨
The Mushie silicone stuff does NOT stay put for us at all. As in he figured it out at 6 months and many friends said the same. Idk how people have so much luck with it. We caved and went for Munchkin suction stuff. I’d recommend against Mushie and to go for actual suction, not a flat piece of silicone.
I’m 20 weeks today with baby boy #2 and my list of things we need for this guy is very short compared to what we had for our first son 😂 I totally recommend the Mockingbird stroller, we have had it since my 17 month old was born and we LOVE it, both pretty and functional! We just were gifted the second seat kit and I can’t wait to get it on there!!
I so wanted the Mockingbird 😭 We ended up with a Graco bassinet system that also allows the car seat to be attached, but with covid, we just stayed home used the bassinet function 90% of the time for walks 😭😭
I have the mockingbird double, and it's great, love it soooo much! It's also great that you can have both kids either front or parent facing (or one of each). I would recommend getting the darker color canopy, as light colors show dirt/stains easily.
My advice is relax on spending a lot on a double stroller. I barely use mine since my toddler wants to walk everywhere. Mine are 23 months apart! I do love the baby trend jogger because it’s super big so when we do take it to places the kids won’t want to walk all day (the zoo for example) they will fit for a long time.
Hi, I don’t know if you have ever seen the graco modes nest to grow travel system,i really love it. It converts from single to double and is really cute,it has the leather handle. If you haven’t seen it you should check it out😊
The wipe warmer was a must for me I was gifted it and thought it was a funny unneeded gift but it’s the one thing I recommend to other pregnant ladies because it was a must!
We got a wipe warmer as our little girl hated diaper changes and thought the warm wipes would help but honestly don't think it did. I think its one of my regrets as it did not really seem to make a difference but if you want to give it a try they are not that much money, but see if you can get one on marketplace just to try!
We bought the hatch changing pad & scale for our baby . He is now 1, but we rarely used it . Most changing happened on our bed since we had bought the gathre mini . & we would use it to weigh him because I was also a nervous fmo but, after the batteries died on the pad , we never replaced them and never used it again. I ended up selling it on marketplace. I always saw you changing Rowan on his pad so I’m sure you’ll get more use out of it than we did ! Also Megan , not sure if you’ve heard of Safe In The Seat on Instagram but she talks all about car seat safety !
The Ollie swaddle was the ONLY swaddle my son Kilion liked. He would wake every 30 minutes without a swaddle and once I got him the Ollie he slept 4 hours the first time wearing it! The story behind it is also cool, it was made by a foster mom looking to soothe her foster baby and it led her to make what worked for him. Anyways I figured I would share since we couldn't get anything else to work for him
Hi! Just wanted to share a thought on the diaper warmer you have listed - we have the same one and while I like that it has a nightlight for middle of the night changes, it also has a light that is ALWAYS on, like you can’t turn it off. It’s not super bright but my guy is really sensitive to light when he sleeps so I covered it with black tape and now it looks a little junky. If I could do it again, I would get a different one. Loved this vid and everything you have planned for sweet Juniper!
I love the idea of adding bows to make the outfits flip! I'm a big fan of gender neutral clothing, and want to let my baby wear anything... but gosh darn is it hard finding something. So why not a tractor themed onesie with a bow? Game changing, love this idea!
I've been told by LCs that the Hatch scale is NOT precise enough to get you the amount of oz. that a baby consumed during a BF session. When I had issues I rented a professional scale from a Lactation center for a few days to gauge that.
I felt the same as you when it came to a wipe warmer. I felt we didn’t need it it’d be fine. My mom warned me that I’d want to get it sooner or later. Once my daughter was born my husband insisted we get Ike since she would cry every time we’d change her diaper and we still use it till this day and she’s almost 16 months old. Love your videos by the way Megan❤️
Highly recommend a swivel convertible car seat. It makes everything to much easier. We just got the Cybex Sirona, but it was between that one and Evenflo 360(better price). Nuna just came out with one, but it has a lower weight limit so won’t last as long as the others.
Oh and to add I was just rear ended two days after ordering the convertible car seat so our Nuna Pipa (also recommend) is trash. I might order the 360 for my husbands car since we get to buy a new one and the one we ordered already won’t be covered.
If you’re going to be spending $600 look into a wonderfold wagon! Specifically a W2 Luxe as it can hold up to 200 lbs and is for long term use post the tiny baby stage.
I was so excited for bows too, but once they figure out their hands, those bows get pulled off all day long 😅 The wipe warmer is clutch for us. When we have to open a new pack and they're still cold, little miss is not a happy camper. I've tried cold wipes on myself-it's not a fun time 🤷♀️ I saw someone else mention the silicone plates-we got several hoping to make cleanup easier, and after one dishwasher cycle, they all smell like dishwasher 😭 Even when I tried hand washing and sanitizing after...nothing fixed it. All were different brands too...so just a heads up on that 🥺
my son really loves the MAM pacifiers. I have a swing from graco and it was a literal life saver, I can definitely understand why you're getting another one.
Congrats on a baby girl!! I remember my excitement when I found that I will be having a girl. I totally get your obsession with bows and dresses. Just be aware that dresses tends to roll up, so be mindful when you buy thousands dresses 😆. Also, stockings and knee socks are super cute to keep your LO covered and warm ;)
Just had our first (a baby girl named Olive Rose) almost 3 weeks ago and I wish we would’ve bought a wipe warmer. I still might buy one because our babe HATES cold wipes and being cold in general.
I looooove my silver cross wave! I scored the newest model open box from good buy gear. I highly recommend checking them out! Good buy gear also had a ton of mockingbird strollers in their inventory!
love the mockingbird got it for my first 1.5 yrs ago and now we see the double everywhere we go. the only other double thats caught my eye is the joovy off amazon and only because it seems minimal and toddler friendly.
I love this. I'm 38 weeks with #2 (also first girl). I am 100% with you on the stroller situation. I've been dreading buying an entirely new stroller because of needing a double stroller, so I haven't done it yet. It helps that she's due in February so we won't be going on walks at first anyway, then I might baby wear for a bit. I think we're getting a double stroller, I just haven't bit the bullet yet. I literally just told someone in my mom group today that I regret not getting one that converts to double. Yess, buying bows is so fun. I actually got half a million bows at my baby shower, so I didn't buy all that many myself. I bought one shortly after finding out it's a girl and I bought a black one after my shower because I felt she needed a more neutral one. I loved what you were saying at the end about how these videos are fun because we're all different and have different priorities. For example, I'm not a big fan of gender neutral clothing, so baby girl has her own wardrobe. There's some items we're reusing, but for the most part, she has SUUUPER girly clothes (I'm also not a neutral aesthetic person, so my son was/is covered in dinos and trucks and my daughter has an excessive amount of pink). But differences aside, this is SUCH a great list. I really appreciated hearing your reasoning for everything.
Oh and I forgot to mention, when I saw your and Marissa's videos in my feed, I thought, "No way! They posted the same video type on the same day again!" This being a Collab makes so much more sense. 😂
Congratulations on your new baby girl, Megan! We were gifted the Mamaroo glider for our baby shower and our little girl hated it haha. The Graco dual swing/rocker saved our lives. I had the exact same thought as well regarding the wipe warmer but as soon as we got home from the hospital I ordered one 😅 and it was totally worth it. Best wishes as you continue along your pregnancy journey with baby girl!
I ordered the hatch baby scale about a week after bringing our first baby home. It was a lifesaver for breastfeeding! I was definitely nervous about him gaining weight and getting enough, therefore it was worth the money for the piece of mind! Also, I just read that those pacis were recalled for choking hazards. Just an FYI that might be something to look into. ☺️💕
I have to do the same for strollers! So frustrating… for wipes I use water wipes and to warm them up I just put them in warm water! I loved it and so did my baby
Everything you say resonates so much. Just a side-note on velcro swaddles, the sound might easily wake them up. I wish i had gotten the double stroller…..
We have an uppababy vista! I do love it although it is very pricey. Also LOVE our Clek, I love it so much I’m not sure I would buy any other kind despite the price lol it’s so long lasting! One of the longest lasting out there. Not sure if the maxi cosi is as long lasting so definitely look into that. 100% would get a donut pillow next time, my tail bone was so sore for a while too. The wipe warmer though isn’t super recommended because it can create an environment for bacteria to grow.
I’m not sure if you’ve seen or not yet, but there was a recall on the FRIGG pacifiers. The nipple of the paci can come off and become a choking hazard. Make sure you find out what batches had those issues and replace yours if you have some from that batch. Just saw it this past weekend. Love your content and love that you talk about needing to save up for some of your bigger ticket items for baby #2. So many RUclipsrs get all of that stuff in PR and not all of us parents can afford the super expensive stuff that those companies are sending out in PR. I definitely like when you talk about what is really worth the price and what you can find that’s just as good for a better price. ♥️
I’m expecting a baby girl. And first thing I bought was those cute head turbans that are so fashionable now on Instagram. I didn’t read the care instruction carefully, and turned out you can’t wash them in a washing machine, only by hand. And if you wet the knot everything falls apart. It was glued inside and you can imagine what happened …😂 So I’m kinda traumatised by it and wish Id have invested more in regular hats instead, because those turbans were pricy as well. Not practical at all. You can basically just wear them once and if you wet it under any circumstances it will be broken. Very sad…Learn by my mistakes ladies 😁 Buy sew in turbans, not the glued ones or invest in regular hats (you can wash them in a washing machine and save your time)
Hey, love, your list is great and by no means feel like you have to listen to me, but the wipe warmer (in my opinion) was a waste. yes it's nice for the wipes to be warm, but just be aware that it really dries your wipes up ALOT. Of course you can get what you want, i just wanted to let you know, but YOU DO YOU QUEEN!
Love your content so much, you are one of my top 5 favorite RUclips creators! I love the mushie spoons and like mats and all that but was kinda disappointed with the suction on the plates and bowls. It’s not the best. We have the ikea high chair and very rarely did they ever stay down. Just thought I’d let you know our experience. All their stuff is definitely esthetically pleasing though!
Feel like I've blinked and you've gone from 10k to 40k subscribers! Congrats x I feel there are many things I'd buy/do differently 2nd time round. Personally I prefer a zip up sleep swaddle by tommee tippee, as the velcro would startle my little one. Which I would introduce sooner. I fully agree with the bamboo dishwear. I was sucked into insta style and wish I went the silicone route too. X
Do you constantly have to take the baby out of the convertible carseat? Like instead of taking the whole carseat out. Not sure if it does but it will suck to do that😩
Definitely reccomend the Uppa Baby Vista. It's pricey but you won't regret it. My husband says it is the Lamborghini of strollers. He's so amazed on how smothe it drives 😂
We have a Mockingbird single to double and just have the single seat right now with our daughter. I love it as a single and would love to hear what you think of it as a double if you end up going that route. I will warn you I was a total bow Mom. I have a giant collection, and my daughter literally never wore them for anything but pictures... she is a total bow puller 😭😭😭😭
Here from Marissa's channel! Thanks for sharing all of this, very informative! Not sure if these are the same or different, but there was just a recall on some of the FRIGG pacifiers!
So excited for you! I don’t have the mockingbird, I have the Nuna Demi grow and I love it because of the configurations. I think swings are great, however I found the 2 for 1 graco swing a great idea in theory but whenever I wanted to take the rocker somewhere it was way too heavy. I ended up buying the baby Bjorn bouncer and I used it way more than the swing due to portability.
Baby things are so expensive!! Maybe this is a topic for another video but tips and tricks for keeping costs down and thrifting would be so welcome, since you're an experienced thrifter! Things like what is better to buy new vs used, good unexpected places to find things, etc! Happy Monday :)
Hi there! Greetings from a Megan in NJ :) I really enjoy watching your channel. I find the videos relaxing, informative and validating! I have a one year old baby boy and we have the Mockingbird stroller. It is awesome! I especially love how easy it is to put in the backseat of our car. I can easily put it together and take it apart by myself. The customer service is great, and they have lots of accessories that are useful, too.
Thanks so much for sharing this video, Megan! Just wanted to say- I have the mushie dinnerware and the bamboo ones and the suction on the mushie doesn’t really work at all, especially on the plate. I would suggest maybe looking at a different brand.
I love my uppa baby but i know it’s a high price point, also from experience you’ll regret not getting the infant car seat 😬 and favorite swaddles are Ollie swaddles although always hard to buy and you have be checking when more become available!
I absolutely love the moxi car seat tyt toddler seat. I have that one for my son. And a baby swing is a must for a babies I think. I also heard the graco double stroller ready to grow LX 2.0 is really good. 💗💗💗💗 congratulations again on baby girl. I would go do crazy with baby girl things lol. 💞💞💞 and the mushie dish wear is awesome. I have it
You should check out Kyle Baby’s new sleep bag swaddles as well! Beautiful neutrals! Bamboo. Velcro. Love their products! Their sleepers are also super soft! :) We love them for our baby boy!
We used them for my son. We really liked it because you can use it to swaddle with arms down or out like a sleep sack. It's a lot more versatile than other swaddles and not that expensive.

Same here!
Hey! I have a 17month old & these are my recommendations:
•graco extend to fit car seat 3 in 1
•swing (no bouncer)
•changing table especially for c section mommas
•diaper caddie for baby room & one for your room
•silicone eating utensils & plates
•wipe warmer
•diaper genie
•Hatch
We have the Evenflo pivot xpand stroller. It came with both seats, and we love it. Super easy to use, cute and it was about 400 bucks Canadian.
THE DONUT CUSHION. Yes. I wish someone told me I would need that. I sat on my boppy nursing pillow for the first week 😅
The Graco swing is something I literally hear no one ever talk about. It's so underrated yet so good. We have one and we love it.
In case your baby doesn't like a normal swaddle, I would recommend trying the swaddle up love to dream - swaddle! That was amazing for us🙌🏼💫
I’ve heard that too!
I’m 30+ weeks and have been told this from several of my friends with newborns :)
The best swaddle!!!!! Used it from newborn all the way up to 5months. Then I switched to halo sleep sacks because they were much cheaper and wash very well 1.0tog for year round wear.
It’s so easy to put baby in the love to dream swaddle too. You just have to zip it up and it saves a lot of time :)
Totally agree! Our newborn loved this swaddle and it was so easy to use and wash!
YAAAS to the hatch scale/changing pad! We love ours! Still going strong at 12 months
Double check but I thought I saw the frigg daisy pacifier was recalled recently. I could be wrong but I thought it was those.
LOVE LOVE LOVE my hatch grow scale. My daughter had transfer issues at the beginning of breastfeeding. It helped my anxiety so much.
Wipe warmer was a waste of money for us, it dried them out and i unplugged it after a week.. Baby will get used to the wipes. But you will do whatever works for you. 🙂
It’s for me! 🤣
That's one of our regrets!
look for peel and stick wallpaper! easy to change out, and not a big commitment 😊
We got it on one of their sales & it was only $100!😁
I’m not pregnant or a mom, just TTC & researching & budgeting. This is super helpful. Gonna go check out your friend’s channel too!
You sold me on the wipe warmer! Just added one to my registry for baby #2. I have to sleep better than the first time around!!
Something we did learn was the lid can get moldy! Others recommended wiping lemon essential oil into it to help inhibit it, but research what works for you!
@@MeganAcuna ohh thank you! I’ll do that!
If you haven’t seen it you should check it out😊
Not sure if you are aware but there’s a recall on the frigg daisy/silicone pacifier
The wipe warmer was a must for me I was gifted it and thought it was a funny unneeded gift but it’s the one thing I recommend to other pregnant ladies because it was a must!
I might just use it for myself…
We got a wipe warmer as our little girl hated diaper changes and thought the warm wipes would help but honestly don't think it did. I think its one of my regrets as it did not really seem to make a difference but if you want to give it a try they are not that much money, but see if you can get one on marketplace just to try!
I love your videos and so excited for you! I’d love to see a similar video of “things I’m going to do differently with baby #2.”
Renting one sounds like a great idea! I wonder if any near us do it
I felt the same as you when it came to a wipe warmer.
"Instead of buying a million dresses I bought a thousand" 🤣🤣🤣 I felt this so much!
Hey! embe swaddles are life- our bb girl was born at 37 weeks and they were the only ones she couldn't Houdini out of!
Look into the wonderfold wagon as an alternative to a double stroller!
If you want the sniglar crib, call your local ikea! They know ahead of time what is coming in shipments and can give you a heads up!
hey Megan just check on the pacifier you wanted to use,I think there was a recall on them.
I love your gardening content! And thank you for sharing the picnic expectations vs reality 😅😂
I got the mockingbird for my first and I LOOOVE
I recommend practicing before you go out with it
I’m getting the perineal cushion and a wipe warmer for baby #2 as well! The pain in my tailbone was my #1 complaint postpartum
Hi! Coming over from Marissa’s channel!
I would recommend the Joovy Qool for a double stroller
I ordered the hatch baby scale about a week after bringing our first baby home. It was a lifesaver for breastfeeding! I was definitely nervous about him gaining weight and getting enough, therefore it was worth the money for the piece of mind!
Also, I just read that those pacis were recalled for choking hazards. Just an FYI that might be something to look into. ☺️💕
Only the silicone ones have been recalled; the rubber ones (which are the ones we have and prefer) are fine!
I have to do the same for strollers! So frustrating… for wipes I use water wipes and to warm them up I just put them in warm water! I loved it and so did my baby
That's a great idea! I wouldn't have the energy in the middle of the night though hahah!
Everything you say resonates so much. Just a side-note on velcro swaddles, the sound might easily wake them up. I wish i had gotten the double stroller…..
Yes we noticed this with Rowan, but I didn’t think of it until now! Great reminder
Highly recommend the CYBEX GAZELLE stroller! More lightweight than the mockingbird
A clip at the end repeats, made me do a double take! Really interesting to hear you break everything down :)
Happy Monday Megan🌈🌈💄💄🌺🌺😇😇🌼🌼
Joovy qool and evenlflo pivot are other double stroller options that look pretty nice
We haven’t been sent anything yet but I’m hoping they will 🤣
@@Matt_Acuna Fingers crossed hahaha! Also only the silicone FRIGG pacifiers were recalled just FYI!
I know I want two children so I'm already planning around this, getting a double stroller, getting more neutral things that can be reused, etc.
Congrats x
I feel there are many things I'd buy/do differently 2nd time round. Personally I prefer a zip up sleep swaddle by tommee tippee, as the velcro would startle my little one. Which I would introduce sooner. I fully agree with the bamboo dishwear. I was sucked into insta style and wish I went the silicone route too. X
We noticed this with the Velcro ones with Rowan too! Thanks for the reminder
Do you constantly have to take the baby out of the convertible carseat? Like instead of taking the whole carseat out. Not sure if it does but it will suck to do that😩
Yes but we never really took the whole car seat out with Rowan in it anyway. Babywearing was way easier
Definitely reccomend the Uppa Baby Vista. It's pricey but you won't regret it. My husband says it is the Lamborghini of strollers. He's so amazed on how smothe it drives 😂
I knowww they’re so great but unfortunately out of our budget
We have a Mockingbird single to double and just have the single seat right now with our daughter. I love it as a single and would love to hear what you think of it as a double if you end up going that route. I will warn you I was a total bow Mom. I have a giant collection, and my daughter literally never wore them for anything but pictures... she is a total bow puller 😭😭😭😭
The bow collection has begun here too 😬
Totally support the bow collecting. Just be ready for the heartbreak when they refuse to wear them 😆
Evenflo Pivot Expand double stroller is awesome!!
Here from Marissa's channel! Thanks for sharing all of this, very informative! Not sure if these are the same or different, but there was just a recall on some of the FRIGG pacifiers!
Only the silicone ones and we use rubber! Thanks so much for the warning though!
I felt the same way about the graco swing. If I could do it again I'd go for a cheaper swing and get a separate bouncer.
I didn’t see anyone else mention it, but there seems to be a little editing error at the end around 13:00. Just fyi. 😊 great video!
Oh thanks! Definitely some pregnancy brain going on over here 😝
@@MeganAcuna been there! ❤️
Baby things are so expensive!! Maybe this is a topic for another video but tips and tricks for keeping costs down and thrifting would be so welcome, since you're an experienced thrifter! Things like what is better to buy new vs used, good unexpected places to find things, etc! Happy Monday :)
Megan got like 10 outfits for baby junebug whilst thrifting. It was around $50 or something for all those cute clothes!
I love this idea!!! Putting it on my list ASAP. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for letting me know!
I love my uppa baby but i know it’s a high price point, also from experience you’ll regret not getting the infant car seat 😬 and favorite swaddles are Ollie swaddles although always hard to buy and you have be checking when more become available!
We barely used our infant car seat with Rowan other than in the car but to each their own! I prefer to babywear whenever we're going in somewhere
I have it
i have the uppababy vista v2, its expensive but it will last!
Sadly out of our price range but it is a great stroller!
You should check out Kyle Baby’s new sleep bag swaddles as well! Beautiful neutrals! Bamboo. Velcro. Love their products! Their sleepers are also super soft! :) We love them for our baby boy!
Love this! My first sons name is also Rowan and he was born in July and I’m due in May ❤️
Info on the Mushie link says to hand wash. Is there something specific that is dishwasher safe?
Have you heard anything on the Happiest Baby sleepea swaddles by Harvey Karp? I am thinking on purchases one for next babe.
We used them for my son. We really liked it because you can use it to swaddle with arms down or out like a sleep sack. It's a lot more versatile than other swaddles and not that expensive.
Qtus double stroller. Check it out
