Robin is a genius. So intelligent, so insightful, and so straight from the heart. What he said about "time heals everything" is so spot on. The pain doesn't go away, you just learn to live with it. So sad that his heart still ached for his twin, Maurice. They are together now and probably composing and singing more glorious songs while they wait for their big brother, Barry, to join them one day for the Bee Gees reunion.
Sadly, Robin & his wife were known to be druids/pagans - among other dodgy sexual interests too, including voyeurism (his wife had female lovers). As a Christian & lifelong Bee Gees fan I was disappointed to discover how he lived his life.

In one interview, Robin said his marriage was like a defense mechanism because he didn't want to give his heart away again to a woman as he did in his first marriage. After his tumultuous divorce, he wanted the second marriage to be different. That was very sad and strange to me. I wish him and all the Brothers Gibb would've found a true relationship with Christ. They seemed like a version of "lukewarm" Christians to me. It would be great if Barry finds a true relationship with Christ. He has expressed his beliefs here and there in the past few years, especially after talking to Ricky Skaggs.

Robin had the most magnetic personality and talent in a performer. His candor and humbleness was a refreshing change of pace. His brothers and he created the most magical and musical experiences in my life, and I'm forever grateful to have part of an era of such geniuses.

I love them with all my heart. I'm 66. I've adored them from the beginning. They do something to your soul. My older brother had brought home a Bee Gee album and I fell in love with them. Sometimes I cry when I see videos of all of them. I know sweet loving Barry is so heart broken. God bless the souls of all of them. They are a precious gift from God. I've told my husband than when I pass I want RINGS AROUND THE MOON to be played at my funeral. All of their music is very heart felt.

Magnificent Rob got it; he understood what it took to be a good lyricist. Each Gibb Brother experienced deep spirituality, thanks to their Christian upbringing. When I woke up today little did I know that I would be treated to such an insightful look at this highly intelligent and talented man's spiritual life. Mo's unexpected death definitely took a toll on him and this is the part of the interview that I finally broke down in tears. It was only a little over a year that this traumatic event occurred in his life and you could definitely see that he was still struggling with this tremendous loss. I'm quite sure he never got over losing Mo. I'm so thankful that I recently came across your channel and immediately subscribed to it. Laurie Barnes - Just came across this. THIS is precisely why we cherished Robin. What a mind, spirit and soul! He was a poet and philosopher capable of deep thought and feelings that everyone has to some degree but can't really explain or express like he can. I am not religious at all but "spiritual" and I do agree with him that music can be a spiritual experience. To be in a cathedral like Notre Dame or St Paul's and hear liturgical music in such a setting is awe inspiring. As he said, music can reach inside you and stir something you aren't even always aware is there. As he also said, a song can instantly bring back memories and feelings from your past. What a wonderful interview. Not the usual superficial garbage. Where did this man come from? Little education but so much depth and intuition. That is why he was an artist and we are not. I can also see his connection to Dwina on the spiritual level.

Let me start by saying they are all geniuses and kings including Andy and dad, momma and Leslie are the queens...❤.. it has Def helped heal my heart little knowing that barry and robin did get close again before he passed I just wish they could have had time with Mo to say whatever needed said...I also absolutely do not believe that Mo would have been able handle robins passing, ..even though knowing robin absolutely was internally going thru it and was constantly talking about him near the end ..as his song said.. no one knew I couldn't live without you 😢😢, you are the one I lived for.. he was such a sensitive soul , very very very stubborn according to mom but was always worrying about others and loved his fans ❤️.. so I watch and listen to them daily and will continue do so....always and forever FAN4LIFE..

Robin understood the balance of life.He lived in a depth very few find it's the journey one travels. Yet it's all parts of life brings life to a complete picture. Everything completes our hearts that is never lost like Robin said it well it will always be there we are people yet the real you is living the person your ment to be your dream. Mike, thank you for this fantastic interview with our precious Robin. It's so wonderful to get even more insight into this amazing man's life and soul, especially when you least expect it. When I woke up today little did I know that I would be treated to such an insightful look at this highly intelligent and talented man's spiritual life. Mo's unexpected death definitely took a toll on him and this is the part of the interview that I finally broke down in tears. It was only a little over a year that this traumatic event occurred in his life and you could definitely see that he was still struggling with this tremendous loss. I'm quite sure he never got over losing Mo. I'm so thankful that I recently came across your channel and immediately subscribed to it. I will definitely check to see what I've been missing and look forward to what you have in store for us next. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Laurie Barnes - Just came across this. THIS is precisely why we cherished Robin. What a mind, spirit and soul! He was a poet and philosopher capable of deep thought and feelings that everyone has to some degree but can't really explain or express like he can. I am not religious at all but "spiritual" and I do agree with him that music can be a spiritual experience. To be in a cathedral like Notre Dame or St Paul's and hear liturgical music in such a setting is awe inspiring. As he said, music can reach inside you and stir something you aren't even always aware is there. As he also said, a song can instantly bring back memories and feelings from your past. What a wonderful interview. Not the usual superficial garbage. Where did this man come from? Little education but so much depth and intuition. That is why he was an artist and we are not. I can also see his connection to Dwina on the spiritual level.
Robin was absolutely awesome and his voice incredible and hauntingly beautiful. I loved the Bee Gees but Robin was my favorite. I just love him so much.The Bee Gees music and Andy's are timeless.Also they were humanitarians. Wonderful Gibb brothers.

Let me start by saying they are all geniuses and kings including Andy and dad, momma and Leslie are the queens...❤.. it has Def helped heal my heart little knowing that barry and robin did get close again before he passed I just wish they could have had time with Mo to say whatever needed said...I also absolutely do not believe that Mo would have been able handle robins passing, ..even though knowing robin absolutely was internally going thru it and was constantly talking about him near the end ..as his song said.. no one knew I couldn't live without you 😢😢, you are the one I lived for.. he was such a sensitive soul , very very very stubborn according to mom but was always worrying about others and loved his fans ❤️.. so I watch and listen to them daily and will continue do so....always and forever FAN4LIFE..
