Amazing as always Kelly. I’ll be trying these out. 49 year old guy and I have skin better than my sisters thanks to you 😂 much love from the UK and thank you for all the effort you put into these videos ❤️
Omg, i can't believe the timing of this video! I'm looking to buy from Torriden (never bought from this brand before), but I'm also intrigued by the new Skin1004 line. I love Ceramides!! 😊
I recently got the skin1004 probio cica cream and ampoule and I love them so so much. My skin looks so good and the texture has improved so much. Now I'm looking to try out toner as well and gonna gift this line for my mum as well.
I just don’t get why people are not able to find your channel on ytube 😢 I have discovered your channel during pandemic when you had very low subscribers. I am still stunned. You have taught me everything about skincare ingredients. So well explained informative information which no one in ytube share. You deserve all kind of love ❤
Love the solid in line. Been using it since Jan 2022. Another one for winter that I was shocked with was the Round lab 1025 dokdo cream and recently saw they had a dokdo light. The cream is super thick with all the good stuff. I got it on a sale for like $20 but see it goes for like 30$ usually. It is wonderful for winter. I rotated that with the solid in cream and had such good skin most of the winter.
I was looking at both of these lines so I’m really glad you’ve done this review. Always great to hear your opinion on products, I’ve basically built a routine based on a lot of your recommendations so thank you!
I bought the entire Torriden Solid-In line and I love all three. The viscosity of the essence is great. While it is moisturizing, it does soak in the skin quickly. The moisturizer is medium bodied. It’s creamy but not greasy. I keep the lippie in my purse, it feels very nice on the lips.
I’m currently using the Torriden Solid-in essence, and have been for the past few months. It’s definitely a holy grail, and as someone who has tried many Korean skincare products, it’s saying alot. Highly recommend this essence and agree with Kelly’s review of this product.
As someone with oily skin (but prefers richer textures for PM despite living in a warm, humid climate), I was immediately compelled to buy the SKIN1004 Probio-Cica line the moment you pitched it (got the toner and ampoule since I still have a pot of Olay Total Effects Night Cream to use up that I feel would pair well with this). I like how smooth my skin feels after using that specific combination. Will definitely repurchase the Probio-Cica line (and include the Enrich Cream) once I use my current stock up. As for the Solid-In line, I'm still 50-50 about it (like I feel it'll be richer than my preference), but I am loving the Lip Essence from that line. Thanks for the recommendation!
Yay the video I’ve been waiting for! Will definitely be ordering both these lines next 😍…Edit having watch the video, I think maybe my very very dry eczema prone skin will be able to use both these brands in the summer as unfortunately Korean moisturising creams and not enough for nighttime use especially in the winter. Great video Kelly ❤️
Hi Kelly I tried the skin1004 cica cream (the last product shown) this Summer. I have super dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin that needs rich/buttery creams in the colder weather, but this worked well for me in the warmer weather and my skin liked it. Going into Autumn it won't be enough, but I have ordered the toner in this line to get most of the ingredients into my routine. Lightweight toners work well for me layered with my other essences and serums etc, so I think it should work fine for me for the next few months. I might try the Torriden toner at some point later in the year. I can only use K beauty moisturisers in the warmer months tbh - they're never rich enough for my skin in cold weather. The serum looks nice, but I have some serums I really like right now and don't need it currently. In the Summer my watery toner has some slight clarifying properties eg Round lab dokdo toner or the Cosrx ABC refreshing toner, but going into the colder months I want a bit more hydration from this first step. Best wishes.
@@minacayy Hi my favourite day cream for Winter is the Kate Somerville Delikate moisturiser, but alas it’s spendy so I normally use the Paula’s choice ultra rich cream. At night I often use body cream or those badged as face and body cream eg LRP lipikar. Hope that helps x
thank youuu I love how you always talk about the entire line rather than a few viral ones. I do think my skin is a lot like your skin and I am always impressed with your recommendations :D in fact, cosrx hydrium cream is my holy grail after you recommend it in one video. Have you talked about cleansing oils/cleansing balms yet?
Hi. This is the 1st video of yours that I watched. Very impressed and subscribed promptly. How do these products compare to cerave noght skin renewing cream. I would love to make a switch if I knew I was getting the dame amount of ceramides. As regards the torriden solid in essence - is it alright to skip a moisturizer if one has combo to oily skin. Thank you for your content ❤
Thanks Kelly 😊 Unfortunately the Skin 1004 cream in a tub was irritating for my face; so disappointed as it has such a lovely texture. Going to give the Torriden cream a go. Appreciate the thoroughness of your videos.
Hi Kelly, I was wondering if you could tell the difference between Torriden Solid in Cream vs the Aestura cream and which is more suitable for damaged skin barrier?
How do you compare the Skin1004 probio cica toner to the Goodal vegan rice toner? I bought the Goodal one post your reco and love that toner during winters.
Hey Kelly! I want to buy the skin1004 probio cream but im scared. Can you tell me how well it works under sunscreen? I have combo skin not really dry so i fear it might ball up underneath sunscreen. Does it have a shiny finish?
heyy !! love your recs so much but I wanted some good skincare suggestions for my dry-sensitive (maybe even dehydrated) hormonal acne prone skin ! im using the cetaphil gentle cleanser I need a good toner (was considering numbuzin 1 or roundlab not sure) a serum ( I was going for skin 1004 centella ampoule and for the cream (I was thinking of dr g blemish cream but its a bit pricey so I want you to really help me out !!) and for spf I bought roundlab birch tree
The Skin 1004 probio cica toner is the only skincare products that has caused breakouts for me. I've had no issue with fermented products in the past and i never break out. There's just something in it my skin doesnt like 🤷
Hi Kelly. I got my solid in cream from yesstyle, and the package looks a bit...suspicious. I was really excited to try it. Do you have any suggestions how to tell if it's a fake? I'm kinda scared to put it on my face now. Thanks in advance!
I had been getting Cerave Moisturising Cream twice, but both orders turned out to be imitation products based on the bar code scanning and the texture, such that I had to ask for refunds from the shopping app twice. Gave up on buying Cerave online, and am now switching either to Torriden Dive In or Skin 1004 Madecera Probio cream.
@@mandywong1408 use a QR scanner. Also, all batch dates can be read for production dates. If it's a fake product, the barcode won't bring you to the brand website.
@@KellyDriscoll I have very similar skin type and concerns like you, but even more sensitive than your skin, dry combo skin with weak skin barrier and suffering from chronic dehydration. There are very few sunscreens which I can use often without concerning about dry out my skin at the end of the day. And this Senka sunscreen successfully does the job. It doesn’t dry out my skin but it still needs double cleansing ( my skin can’t stand DC daily). Apart from that fact, I like it.
The best ceramide product I've tried is the Indeed Labs in- ceramide daily moisture cream 🤍 It's a little pricey for 30ml ( 1oz ) but I use it more like a serum. A little goes a long way. It's not greasy or oily, it absorbs perfectly, works with other products ( no peeling ) fragrance free. It makes my skin feel so soft. I got it on sale at Ulta a while back ( I do believe 30% off ) I ended up buying 3 lol Thats how much I love it. I highly recommend trying especially if its on sale. I tried the Skin1004 cream and the serum and sadly I returned them both. They both felt lovely and lightweight going on but once they dried, they felt sticky/tacky and they felt like they never completely absorbed. They just sat on my skin. The more you use the worse the sticky/tacky it got.

Kelly what are your thoughts between the skin1004 Probio-cica toner vs the tiam b5 toner??
Tiam has a thicker, more bouncy texture so if you want more plumpness that's the one to try. Both are very hydrating though!

For reference, skin type?
which one would you choose dewytree cica essence or one thing centella toner
