I know many of you will ask why we do not have Two Steps From Hell music etc... The simple answer is Copyright. We cannot get the license agreement with them this year and do not have enough money to buy license as well. We already announce this for a long time ago on our facebook page. Just to be clear!
Next time you can just set up a little funding campaign for that. I'd be happy to give money for that! And it's really not understandable to me, why TSFH would voluntarily pass such a fine advertising. I think their popularity might have rose to their heads a little too much.
We already ask fans about this opinion but the result is quite unexpected, people agree to not have TSFH. Then when the product come out and people ask us why we dont do anything. Its problem of communication but everything is too late already.

Very dissapointed in twostepsfrom hell for not giving you the licenses for free! They should respect what you do, you promoted them and they should pay you back. Every year you guys do an amazing job creating theese videos, and two stepsfromhell should beg to be a part of it! Keep up the good work, and screw the other guys!

HAHAHAHA!!! THIS! THIS IS WHAT I WAITED SIX MONTHS FOR!!!! Worth every page refresh over the past months! Kudos to the editors! This compilation is truly EMVN at their very best. Although we were unfortunate to miss out on some of the bigger guns like Bergersen and TSFH, I am appreciative of the fact it allowed us to see more of the indie scene whom have been pouring out some awesome tracks, especially in the past year, We Are by EMVN comes to mind. I also like the use of chapters to partition the video into several independent units which would appeal to different types of people. This I feel, is a very accurate description of what a year is like. Some months were not so enjoyable, some were just meh. But there are a few months that we will never forget. In this vid, those unforgettable months are Chapter 3(Flames of Heroes), Chapter 7(Blood of My Brothers), Chapter 10(Wedding in the Dream) and the credits (that one hit tooclose to home). Chapter 6 (Bang and Burn) felt a little weak coming after last year, especially since a lot of the scenes were reused. It felt even paler when the much more gripping Chapter 7 came right after, and depicted a stronger brotherhood and bond while also showcasing the harshness of war (them vocals were killer!) All in all, an excellent showing all around. There are always areas for improvements, but I leave this video satisfied, and will have it on loop for the next three months at the very lease. However, despite my overflowing love for this, I can't help but worry for the viewership, many of which might have already given up waiting, especially when you consider the negativity that had been breeding on other vids up to this point. I propose using October-September as your years instead of January-December e.g make the next one (October 2016-October 2017). This will allow you guys to start production early and have it ready for release by January, latest February with a schedule people can rely on. Now, I understand that starting that this year will mean a shit ton of work for you guys, especially considering you just finished with 2016, and some might complain in January that a song from November or December did not make the list, but I strongly believe (at the danger of sounding like I speak for everyone) with a good enough explanation from you guys, the majority will get onboard as long as it means an early release with a schedule they can actually rely on. This has been the longest comment I have ever given. But it's also an accurate barometer of the passion for your work you guys have instilled in me. TL;DR: AWESOME JOB!!!

I'm here to say that 2015 and 2016 version are both of emotional cinematic. And there is no point or score for emotion. Just your feeling. That's why 2015 and 2016 cound't reach to the increadilbe count on views like 2012. TheBezt2012 is pure entertainment video game. With me, 2015 and 2016 are Bezt of the bezt. Everytime I watched again, there is something hard to say in my soul :)

Really nice work on this one. In addition to selecting all the best music you have finally devoted part of the video to earth's natural wonders like waterfalls, volcanoes, ocean life, landscapes, etc. I've been so put off by all the bizarre creatures and human violence that has been represented by others (and even here) not being able to figure what in the world those things have to do with this beautiful music. At least you've touched on the epicness of this music by using part of your video presentation to highlight dramatic natural wonders of our planet. Thank you!

First time I fund this channel. Honestly I really like epic music, helps me to write... but this time I had to get two open windows, one for my writing and the another to check imagens on the video. I really like it all this work ( I can´t imagen how much takes do this...) So, will be hard "heard and write" if all full cinematic is so great... No blame, I love it. I want to say this is your best yet but I have an annoying biased for 2012’s because it was that video that introduced me to you, so imagine I am saying it is your best yet. It really was worth waiting the extra 3-4 months for this. Good job guys. I tried to hold myself back since the 2k12 cinematic got released, but after watching everyone of your 2kXX 1h Cinematics for the 100ths time I just have to tell you how much this means to me. I get kind of depressed from time to time, but whenever I start to watch one of your 1h cinematics it just blasts by. The way you combine this breathtaking beautiful music with those strong images is just unreal. Watching your videos is a way for me to just dump negative energy into the void and feel better afterwards. I dont want to know where i would be right now if it wasnt for your videos. Thanks mate!
I like the way you set this one up especially towards the end. You aren't just saying this is epic you are asking the question "what is epic music?" and in the process asking "What is Epic?". I have never seen that done in ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING! I don't think you can do a repeat of this unless if you are really good but damn you are exceeding expectations at every twist and turn. Can't wait to see the next years one.
It must have taken a very long time to produce something this epic. The music knit together the emotions of the video clips with the theme very well. I love it - incredible.
My favorite is Chapter 2. It recalls me the times I failed after so much effort and sweat for practicing and training. The chapter brings me a lot of emotions every time I watch it.
Again, an awesome piece of work.. listening to this kind of music gets me out of my chair and pushes me further each day.. the final scene describes perfectly the feeling I, and probably a lot of other people, get when we plug in this music.. thank you and looking forward to the next one already!
I think we can all agree that the 'big players' like TSFH and the like would've deserved in a best of video like this and we know they are truly epic... HOWEVER I am so pleased to find countless new composers and songs that I have never heard of and that they are integrated in such wonderful cinematics action. Great work EMVN, and thank you for all the effort! This was a great pleasure to eyes and ears!
I've been an old fan of yours. The editing is brilliant, there is - as always - perfect harmony between picture and sound but, all in all, we've heard much better tracks and seen much better videos among these "best of" compilations made by you. The cinematics are too depressing and there were better epic tracks in 2016 than the ones you've chosen here. I really miss, e.g., Bergersen/TSFH. I appreciate your efforts but I think the 2012 video is still by far the best one. This year's video gives the impression that you are suffering from a depressing world, where you can find relative consolation in children's tales only. I understand this view, and epic topics also have a dark side, but I think epicness should be more about victory and glory than depression and failure. Please try to make a more glorious, brightly shining, uplifting video with great tracks and cinematics next year. But thank you for all your work.

This worths several months of waiting. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Advantage: + Putting "Festival of Light" at the opening and the ending gives a strong feeling (maybe cause I love this song so much). + Transporting meaningful things 'bout happiness, love, families, choices, the goals of our lifes, nature, etc. + After seeing Scenes about Ori for a million of times, this's still so emotional. + An admin gave us a part of chapter 10 a week ago, and watching it here and now is so wonderful. + Just my point, but I prefer The Best of Epic Music 2015 to this one. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Disadvantage: somethings should be changed to make this better (in my opinion) + The tune of "Festival of Light" at the opening is good, but the scenes. They don't combine well with each other. Btw, someone in the group say that there should be scenes of "Black Pearl". + In the chapter 2, u guys use scenes from too many films. Tell us only one story. + In the chapter 3, the part of "One Against All" has the a problem too. Music speed is fast, we get strong feeling but there're slow motion scenes. I listen to quite a few of these epic mixes. I was shocked to see I missed coming across this one. As many as I have been impressed by, the format that introduced something not unlike a cinematic plot, positing greater contemplation to life...I had chills repeatedly for the first five minutes. THIS is no a FAVePIC!

Well EPIC MUSIC VN what can I say you’ve done it again. I want to say this is your best yet but I have an annoying biased for 2012’s because it was that video that introduced me to you, so imagine I am saying it is your best yet. It really was worth waiting the extra 3-4 months for this. Good job guys. Now if you will excuse me, I have to go comfort my bank account as I still have a lot of songs and albums to get because of you lot, and a steam sale is coming up, so you can imagine my wallet is crying.

I tried to hold myself back since the 2k12 cinematic got released, but after watching everyone of your 2kXX 1h Cinematics for the 100ths time I just have to tell you how much this means to me.
I get kind of depressed from time to time, but whenever I start to watch one of your 1h cinematics it just blasts by. The way you combine this breathtaking beautiful music with those strong images is just unreal. Watching your videos is a way for me to just dump negative energy into the void and feel better afterwards. I dont want to know where i would be right now if it wasnt for your videos.

I like the way you set this one up especially towards the end. You aren't just saying this is epic you are asking the question "what is epic music?" and in the process asking "What is Epic?". I have never seen that done in ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING! I don't think you can do a repeat of this unless if you are really good but damn you are exceeding expectations at every twist and turn. Can't wait to see the next years one.
This has to be one of the best ones yet considering no two steps from hell, after a few listens I have begun to appreciate it so much more !

I've been an old fan of yours. The editing is brilliant, there is - as always - perfect harmony between picture and sound but, all in all, we've heard much better tracks and seen much better videos among these "best of" compilations made by you. The cinematics are too depressing and there were better epic tracks in 2016 than the ones you've chosen here. I really miss, e.g., Bergersen/TSFH. I appreciate your efforts but I think the 2012 video is still by far the best one. This year's video gives the impression that you are suffering from a depressing world, where you can find relative consolation in children's tales only. I understand this view, and epic topics also have a dark side, but I think epicness should be more about victory and glory than depression and failure. Please try to make a more glorious, brightly shining, uplifting video with great tracks and cinematics next year. But thank you for all your work.

+ Putting "Festival of Light" at the opening and the ending gives a strong feeling (maybe cause I love this song so much).
+ Transporting meaningful things 'bout happiness, love, families, choices, the goals of our lifes, nature, etc.
+ After seeing Scenes about Ori for a million of times, this's still so emotional.
+ An admin gave us a part of chapter 10 a week ago, and watching it here and now is so wonderful.
+ Just my point, but I prefer The Best of Epic Music 2015 to this one.

* Disadvantage: somethings should be changed to make this better (in my opinion)
+ The tune of "Festival of Light" at the opening is good, but the scenes. They don't combine well with each other. Btw, someone in the group say that there should be scenes of "Black Pearl".
+ In the chapter 2, u guys use scenes from too many films. Tell us only one story.
+ In the chapter 3, the part of "One Against All" has the a problem too. Music speed is fast, we get strong feeling but there're slow motion scenes. That's not good.
+ There're some stories of love, sacrifice in this product but to me, they're not emotional as cinematic "Star Sky", "Victory" - The Best of Epic Music 2015.

I listen to quite a few of these epic mixes. I was shocked to see I missed coming across this one. As many as I have been impressed by, the format that introduced something not unlike a cinematic plot, positing greater contemplation to life...I had chills repeatedly for the first five minutes. THIS is no a FAVePIC!
