Mummy's choice is a very bad one. Yes sometimes African parents force their children into marriage and leave them alone.Then they regret while it is too late. Good movie!
This woman still praying after what she make her daughter went through with her"you must you must not".
As for me, the mother should have married the so called Tobe herself instead of nagging her daughter. And please don’t tell me it’s just a movie. Depending on a lot of african movies, parents always interfere in their children love relationship and try to manipulate and force them to marry people they don’t love. This kind of behavior from parents should be deep into african culture to be shown on so many movies.
Fully agreed dear, but this evil behaviour from parents is not only recurrent in Africa, but in Asia too. It is just that we are watching African movies which actually are adrfessing these issues in order to raise awareness of its devastating consequences.

How irritating is that most African parents still do interfere into their children’s life with the excuse of loving them, or the so-called culture ethics. In the meantime , most of their behaviour is the direct consequence of their personal past trauma. Moreover i do not comprehend why will adult person will abide with their parents decisions because by doing this they show them respect or love. It is when the worse comes that they will somehow realize their wrongdoing, NONSENSE ! I strongly believe that it is high time that our government start working on implementing law enforcement accordingly.
