Oh my gosh! this movie is packed with so many life lessons that shouldn't be ignored. First, the unconditional love displayed by Adesuwa is so melting, it made me so soft after watching, the love is so patient towards her family despite all, it made her look like a fool at first, but you know what, that's love. It just reminds me of God's love towards us. Second, treat people right. Honestly, Adesuwa would have missed a chance on love and getting married if she had not treated Jason right. Third, be open minded, many have lost great opportunities because they believe some things will only come through a particular place. Adesuwa was open minded, so also Jason, also open your mouth, shoot your shot and don't just accept what life throws at you. A closed mouth is a closed destiny. Adesuwa insisted on going to school, so also did Jason, Adesuwa could have accepted her mother's wish and blame her life on such forever but she decided to change her life by sticking to what she believes. Same with Jason, don't look down on yourself, otherwise, good things will always pass you by. I can go on and on but I'll stop here. Thank you aunty Omoni for this masterpiece. Well done 👍 to all the cast, you did excellent.

Definitely would have sent them out! There are so many wrong directions things could have gone for her just because she kept condoning their wickedness and sheer insensitivity.
You took in the same mother who threw you out, only for her to come in with your immature siblings and then spend your money recklessly, steal your money and hand it foolishly to scammers and even mock you for being single.
I really hope no woman is living like this in the real world..
She could have committed suicide out of frustration if that guy didn't come along, the brother could have ended up ruining her financially, the sister could have died.
So many terrible possible endings 😂

We first borns have always been raised different; at least in my region of Nigeria. However, I had very supportive parents who ensured that my siblings were raised right. They just expected me to also understand that when they are no more, I will be the matriarch of the family. Due to this, all I did was focus on studies and work (after graduation) and nothing else 😊. It prepared me much more than I imagined cos I lost them just after medical school.
I am lucky that my siblings gave me the respect I deserved and didn’t stress me. We are now super successful due to our focus on the important things.
This mom was irresponsible and Adesua’s siblings were really a handful. Awesome movie with a lot of lessons!!!God bless us all.

Family can be our greatest source of pain, leaving us with traumatic experiences only God can heal. As someone who takes care of my entire nuclear family I really can relate. It's a sacrifice and a heavy one at that. Everyone looks to me so I realised early to look to God so he can pour into me to still do this Godly but costly work I have been positioned to do. I pray God blesses me with a good man someday cos that's what everyone keeps asking. I cried watching this movie

I'm not her favorite child though and I act like I don't care and mind my business most times but I really do care, I just swallow it all up. And Adesua is my elder sister, no difference. I love that this movie highlighted the burden that is sometimes placed on children through black tax and unrealistic expectations of parents and some family members (sense of entitlement irks me). Haaaa this movie. I was elated, cried, laughed, cringed, smiled you name it. In fact eh, my jaws are aching from the range of emotions I experienced watching this. My heart is both dire and satiated. God, what is this? This movie is a MUST-WATCH🎉 Jam-packed filled with lessons.
Chai mehn, take your flowers 🌹 🌺 🌸 @OmoniOboliTv. All the cast members were on point on this one. Great job all.

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ABOUT 10 YEARS I CRIED TO A NIGERIAN MOVIE. God bless the early actors and God bless you Omoni Oboli. In fact it is not the cry that makes this movie special but the fact that it tells a story so well. Well done!

wow. so greatly packed with lessons. at first i thought 'adesuwa might not be her child' How would a mother think so lowly of her own. Poverty was not to blame, the mother was not just a mother, even to the other children.
in all, great job to all the casts and team. it was worth the time. thank you.💜

This is such a beautiful movie. Loved it from beginning to end. The emotional roller coaster I was on had me laughing, smiling and crying. All the actors did a spectacular job and the writing was unmatched. The universal storyline can be appreciated in any country and culture.
