24 Faubourg is eternal class. I had it first when I was 23 and I fell in love, it smelled magical and festive on a wool coat in a snowy winter day. Since then I love it and it is my all tim top 5 together with COCO au de perfume Chanel and Dior poison.
I bought the Hermes 24 Fauborg because of this video it was the comparison to Safari that sold me. It was my favorite in the 90's with the beautiful cut crystal bottel. I agree with everything you say about fragrance and I enjoy your channel! Thanks for all your honest insights!
Late to comment on this video, I just found your channel. 24 Faubourg used to be my signature scent, I think I discovered it when I was about 43. I was ready for this scent. It always made me feel somewhat sophisticated. I wore bottles of this over 10 years. My first Hermes was Parfume d Hermes, which is now discontinued, beautiful scent. I've heard 24 Faubourg likened to a woman wearing too much make up. I always think they just aren't ready for this!
It’s a great one. My mom has the Eau Delicate flanker which has hyacinth. I hope you continue making videos for your world wild audience. I enjoy them over here in the US :)
I'm so glad you are posting. Years ago I met a handsome man from Sweden in a bar in Chicago on St Patrick's day. He had a lovely accent. You sound like you live next door in the midwest of the US. So today I tried a sample and found it to be glorious, but it faded quickly. It is an old and small sample. Do you think it fades quickly .
@@thehonestperfumereviewer6336, Diana used Houbigant 'Quelques Fleurs' at her wedding. In daily life she was very fond of Penthaligon 'Bluebell'. During time Dior 'Diorissimo' was said to be her all time favourite and signature scent. She apparently was also fond of Guerlain's 'Mitsouko', and Creed 'Fleurissimo', the latter originally made for Princess Grace of Monaco for her wedding day and not made available to the public until after Princess Grace's death. And finally Hermes '24 Faubourg', launched in 1995. I don't know when Diana started using it, but it was said to be the perfume Diana never left home without. Still, it's been said her love for Diorissimo remained throughout time.
You discussed the EdP and EdT versions at the end and concluded, "I think they'd both be a good buy." And the video ended on those two words. Poetic. Hahaha. Goodbye.
@@-HRH Haha, like a play on words without even knowing about it. Must admit that I gave away this bottle because I didn’t wear it enough and it somehow made me feel a little old.
@@thehonestperfumereviewer6336 Precisely! You're a poet and didn't know it 😂 It doesn't surprise me you've recirculated the Faubourg. I'm literally watching your videos in order now. I was so moved when you mentioned your husband's passing (my sincere and heartfelt condolences, Kicki) as an impetus to not horde because life, like eau de cologne, is fleeting. I cried when you got choked up. And I was inspired when you mentioned that helping people declutter their massive collections may be your calling (or one of them). Perhaps one day you will help me with my near 2000 bottle collection. Bless you. Have a great day. I'll keep watching. "Goodbye" - hahaha.
@@-HRH Such a nice comment. It made me really happy. Thank you. I am struggling to find my contribution to this world. I have done some exciting things prior to this, but I have many years left I hope.

Totally agree with you about not saving perfume for “best.” Life is too short for that. Love your videos. Please don’t stop!

I've only just discovered this one too. Instant love!
Thank you for sharing. My bottle is on the way. Got a great deal.

Very happy you continued to make videos.
90’s memories for me... you have inspired me to get a bottle now!
Enjoying your videos very much :)
I love this parfume too, it is so nice and unique.
I just received this perfume today and I really love it.
Like your video's!
I am 29 and love this perfume!
Great video. I just blind bought a (very affordable) sample and your review was the thing that tipped the scales for me.
Hi from Puerto Rico!!! Nice to see you, my first time in your channel and I like it!
Thank you! Any nice perfumeries over in Puerto Rico. My cousin is married to a Puerto Rican man. Never been there, though. They live in L.A.
I love Elderflower 🌷
Lovely video! I subscribed to your channel because you really are genuine 😊 I am 30 years old and considering buying this perfume after your review!
You must try it though! Part of my love for this one might be nostalgia. Thank you!
I agree with you - it makes me happy too and i just can't explaine why. I find it quite dated but don't mind. So sad that it is discontinued ...
My signature parfume❤️
It is lovely!

Hermes is such a good house (my favorite) definitely worth exploring.
@@expansefloating4096 Will continue to explore it!
I binge watched a bunch too!

I think it lasts really well on me! There are different concentrations, I have the edp. Maybe you have an edt or the sample is just too old. Not sure.
This was the favorite perfume of Diana, Princess of Wales during the last time of her life.
I didn't know that. I knew she was a big fan of Houbigant fragrances. Thanks for commenting!
