Sam, I’ve been watching your videos forever...now finally doing my outdoor kitchen and it is inspired by yours... a BBQ grill with an EVO, and one level counter to bring everyone into the experience. It’s going to be so much fun.
Super jealous of you outdoor grill. Love your channel! I have a kamado joe grill and it makes amazing pizza. Keep up the good work. Makes me want to cook every time I watch an episode.
Having an Evo Grill would be a dream come true for me. I am 61 & on a fixed income, which means I'd never be able to buy one. I cook every single day. My husband is Cuban & has to see lots of food to be happy. I love having friends over & just watch them eat my food. I live in Palm Bay, Florida. We have bbq weather practically year round & I'm the only one that cooks on the grill. Thank you Sam for giving me a chance, but super congrats to whoever wins it! God bless you & keep cooking.
wow Sam! I found your videos with the Birra tacos when I was surfing for tamale videos and fell in love with your videos. Its amazing to look back and see the start of this outdoor kitchen and how far you have come in your videos.
if Sam is Canadian, that could be the first positive news to come out of 2020. love the show man. we started following you a few months ago and it has transformed our go-to dishes. we make your smash burgers and special sauce on a regular basis. high quality show this is
I love your show and particularly your out door kitchen. I have been reviewing designs for ever and your is the best. Now that you've had it for 5 years what would you do differently.
Very impressive, Sam. I am quite jealous thank you. Well, I guess I’ll go live in LaLa land for awhile since that’s the only place I’ll get all that good stuff. Nice set up, both in and out…enjoy
Hi Sam. I've been a subscriber for a while, but just ran across this video of your first time in your new "man cave". I'm so jealous. Even a woman would love your new set up. looking forward to many new recipes and inspirations coming from this location. Love you Sam.
Finally stumbled on your new outdoor kitchen vid after watching much of your latest posts during covid. It’s really cool watching how the shows have evolved. A bit confused over the indoor kitchen tho..... the outdoor kitchen is outside of the “Zebra stripe” kitchen from earlier shows but all of your recent indoor productions are in a completely different kitchen that appears to be in an apartment. Do you have two places? Why no more zebra kitchen? Inquiring minds want to know 😁
Burger that is too lean tends to be very tough. A lot of the fat in 80/20 will render out anyway but, the Burger will remain more tender and flavorful. Using 50-75% brisket with 25-50% chuck will give you an amazing burger. It'sthe first time I got my wife (not much of a meat eater, at all) to go "Wow!" when she bit into her burger, it was 75% brisket. (you can use 100% if you like but, it's pricey). The next level to that is take (for example) a pound of that mix and add 1/2 - 3/4 lb. ground lamb. It's gonna make your guests wonder what you did and you can even give it the full treatment and make Gyro burgers, which are fantastic. Some tomatoe,, lettuce, Fetta and tzatziki sauce, it'll blow you away. 😀
Totally nominating Scott C (cadet4X4@...), my brother, for this fab EVO grill! He would do so many amazing things with this grill as he has followed you, Sam, since almost the beginning. He is the most wonderful father to three kids and half the neighborhood! He is creative and inventive.. both as a back yard chief and a father. He would gratefully receive this wonderful gift and multiply the love 10K fold to family, friends and neighbors in his small Iowa town. I’ve enjoyed many a Sam inspired meal and wish with all my might that he receive this gift and pass on the love. Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, Give Scott the EVO, you know what to do!
Never crush thick burgers it just squeezes out the juices. If it isn't a smash burger don't smash it. Rinse off roasted peppers and you rinse off flavor. Wrap them in newspaper or paper bag and let the steam separate the skin further, let them hang out while you continue prepping, and rub the char off with the bag/newspaper. Your poor knife. Love the outdoor kitchen though.
It doesn't spin. There are two separate burner rings underneath the top. One wide ring about 25" in diameter and one smaller ring about 12" in diameter. Each ring has individual dials to control on/off and heat. So you can have one on high and one on low or on off.
That’s about $15K in equipment - grill, Evo, sink, faucet, fridge, and ice maker. $7500 in countertops. That’s a HUGE counter. 2 fire pits. Pergola at $35-40/sf. And then the flooring is at least 1500 sf. That back yard was close to $100k.
So, I guess you have a little money. Nice ideas. If I ever get several million dollars maybe I can build something too. Not just a cook, but Mason and Carpenter. I even designed a house I would like to build. BUT, not even a teaspoon of dirt to put it on. So, I guess I will just drool over your setup. Pardon me, I'll just wipe that up.
I never saw an EVO grill before I watched your channel, thanks for giving me something else to obsess about.
Cuisinart griddle unless you have money you don’t want anymore
@Mateo Tatum dude leave her shit alone lol if you got trust issues like that just talk to her, man up
Sam, it’s weird to see how far you’ve come in 4 years - you relaxed. Started to watch you in COVID only just saw this. Champion
I like how you included Shannon in the segment. Sam the good hearted guy!
Love & respect, folks! Cheers from Alberta Canada!
I am so jealous of your grill, and especially your Evo!
Just got a chance to see this... You've come a long way in several years...... I started watching when Max was filming. Keep on cook'n!
Truly a dream kitchen! Thank you for sharing!

This is like a landmark episode
Love the channel. Just found it and can't wait to try your recipes. Tip from a novice, if it's burning your hands it's going to burn your mouth.

I have learned a lot watching you cook. Always a pleasure. The older videos are better for instruction since you are more detailed.
Shoutout to shannon hope she's doing good💯😂
*well
I LOVE that grill and I LOVE your channel....thanks for sharing❤️
Hi Sam. I've been a subscriber for a while, but just ran across this video of your first time in your new "man cave". I'm so jealous. Even a woman would love your new set up. looking forward to many new recipes and inspirations coming from this location. Love you Sam.
Even a woman. Lol
Outdoor kitchen is incredible Sam!! I am from NJ and that is such a California style pizza lol but can still be good im sure!
How about a 5year update on your backyard remodel.... .what you love ,what you dont.... and what you would/want to do different......
Sam never heard of letting the cooked food rest😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love the t-shirt!
That Evo would be fantastic for Korean BBQ! So jealous!
That Caliber grill might very well be the best gas grill on the market.
You’re burning the table!! LOL!
Now I have to tell my wife I need a backyard kitchen and it must have the EVO
A must lol

more like Captain Jerk .......................Chicken
I love it Sam , outdoors is the way to go
Running a roasted pepper under water is quite possibly the biggest cardinal sin Sam!! But you are still awesome!!
Yeah definitely.
OMG! I swear you are related to my cooking buddy, Micah! You both have the same mannerisms, and cooking!? OMG! LOVE Y'ER GUTS!!
Love the shirt!
Was gonna say that too.
I love your cooking style. Can you do some recipes using a griddle?
Yes. That's essentially what the Evo is, so anything he cooks on the Evo can also be done on a griddle.
Burger that is too lean tends to be very tough. A lot of the fat in 80/20 will render out anyway but, the Burger will remain more tender and flavorful.

I used to order from Catalina pretty often until they tripled the price of their Uni. Used to be a good deal.
if you put the peppers in a paper bag let the sweat for 30 minutes they peel much easier
How do you keep your grill so clean?
I want that EVO grill so bad 😭
You are the "UN" chef....you cook and measure and talk like real guys do who enjoy any form of grilling!
Does he have any shows on how he cleans the mushroom grill?
Wow beautiful!
Totally nominating Scott C (cadet4X4@...), my brother, for this fab EVO grill! He would do so many amazing things with this grill as he has followed you, Sam, since almost the beginning. I was wondering, after years of using your outdoor kitchen, is there anything you would miss, change or do different?
the Evo grill is out of my range!
Fresh tomato and shrimp YUM!!!!
ohhh I'M so jealous!!!
"It'll be fantastic...or it'll suck".
Does Lars remodel outdoor kitchens in Sydney Australia?
When did you transition it the round cutting board, who makes it?
I liked it covered. Cook only outside at home.
No snow in your country!
I don't see myself ever having an outdoor kitchen. I live in NY where the weather sucks 10 months out of the year.
Never crush thick burgers it just squeezes out the juices. If it isn't a smash burger don't smash it. Rinse off roasted peppers and you rinse off flavor. Sounds like someone trying for their own cooking show. Show Me i'm from Missouri
Dude he barely touched them.
Everything you say is correct.
Is this before he started filming with Max on his own channel?
EVO, I want one too! I'll put it in my list next to winning 300 million $. 😞
even if you are lactose intolerant ... you can not have too much or too many kinds of cheeses on your pizza... its worth it
I feel terrible for laughing at his pain for eating something so hot!
please explain the evolution grill , why , does it spin are there hot spots , how thick is it , how to control heat ?
It doesn't spin. There are two separate burner rings underneath the top. One wide ring about 25" in diameter and one smaller ring about 12" in diameter. Each ring has individual dials to control on/off and heat. So you can have one on high and one on low or on off.
This definitely didn’t suck
How much for the outside kitchen
I would think around 60K give or take!
That’s about $15K in equipment - grill, Evo, sink, faucet, fridge, and ice maker. $7500 in countertops. That’s a HUGE counter. 2 fire pits. Pergola at $35-40/sf. And then the flooring is at least 1500 sf. That back yard was close to $100k.
gkmandymoo he wrote that off as a business expense
Far play to you my friend you done for ur self proud of you. Take it easy and keep up the great work from Scotland we canny cook worth a fuck lol
Which caliber grill is this?
I’d give my left%=%? For that setup!
Didnt see him wash his hands after dropping the burgers before touching the buns
Stop nitpicking.
Hey Karen
What do you use to clean your EVO?
I would think like any other cast iron skillet
It’s so fucking sick!!!!!
23:48 Firecracker Shrimp deconstructed
11:33 on is the best!
I hate the way the garlic sounds when it goes through the garlic crusher...eeeek.. like bones crunching.. Freaks me out 😬.. Lol 🤣
So happy u get rid of the music :D
Yeeeeeeeeeooooooooooow Munster

That burger would be awesome if it were cooked.
Jetwasp just eat a tofu burger and leave the adults to eat the real burgers!
Skip the arugula and go withl carmelized onions and a red wine reduction drizzle.
Now that doesn't go on pizza.
Judd Perkins why don’t you like arugula?
"It is super hot", how do I fix that. I shove it in my mouth!
how much money did ya have to pay those models to sit with you Sam????????
Oh Yummy, lawn clippings on a pizza, Not.
Yummy
It is very interesting to see Sam without the kids involved. Fewer mistakes. Still mistakes, but fewer. I know! We blame Maxie!!
Where does Sam get all the money to live Large
Bye Shannon
DORK
burns bread and veggies, under cooks meat.
I liked it better when your son filmed. You were much more fun.
Go to his YT channel SAM THE COOKING GUY. His son films on that channel and you're right he's a lot more fun lol
Evo grill = disco in NM
🤣
Food porn.
that ain't pizza.......that's california crud........get real........try a ny pizza
There is more that one flavor of ice cream so there can be more than one style of pizza... I love NY Pizza and I am wanting to try this as well
Arugula, like spinach, does NOT belong on pizza!!!!
Anything belongs on a pizza, if you so love it
Judd Perkins you probably like Pizza Hut.
Your wife is so much prettier than those women
You are do f'n loud with the glass bowl and the damn spoon...Jesus, can you NOT be a little more quiet?????
That shit wasn't done yuck
