So sad to hear this. I have enjoyed many, many hours listening to his songs and singing them, he seemed to have written a tableaux of my life. His lyrics captured moments i had long forgotten and cherished recalling them. He focused on the little details that made life endearing and enduring.... the mud on our knees, the passengers on a train car, the small towns, Mother Nature around us, the 'make or break highway' etc. His music is to me 'closer now than ever'. RIP to a wonderful man, Your time on earth has been well spent, you have touched so many lives by making the world a better place.
