I wonder if they left something out of context in Stone Cold's interview.
Well it was during the discussion of Benoit. So I'm wondering was he saying I don't believe CTE was the reason he murdered his family
quite possible
RVD speaks intelligently on this subject. Not all concussions are going to cause CTE. Wrestlers are at high risk for repeated concussions (more so when allowing steel chairs and other weapons to the head). Repeated concussions make CTE more likely, but it is a degenerative condition that can not be truly diagnosed until a brain scan and tissue samples are analyzed shortly after death.
None of what you said just made any sense and thats the problem.... COMPLETE lack of education by people who think they know what they're actually talking about... everyone has an opinion of things they have no understanding of and its detrimental
@@BadWolve I’ve got a Master’s degree in Biology and have read the reports on football and wrestling casualties. I’m not sure what you disagree with because these are the facts.
So you have a masters and you think RVD speaks intelligently? Okay
@@RatedH1 For a pot head, yeah. The only thing is he said Alzheimers when that is separate and different from CTE. If you listen to what he says about concussions and CTE you can see that he is more informed than most. Most importantly, he is saying that concussions and CTE are not the same thing but regardless people need to be more proactive about preventing head trauma and allow appropriate recovery time for concussions to reduce cumulative effects.
@@jasonbink5276 you’re taking out your ass…
Austin didn't become a multi millionaire 10× over inside and outside the ring by not being smart. I would say he's making more money now with his beer than he did at his peak in WWE. Something doesn't add up with that interview. Nothing slow about Austin very calculated still to this day.
Glad RVD is finally on youfube, my weed brother 🙌 💪
Rob has to be the king 🤴 of bong style?
I don't get it, because Austin on his podcast constantly blames his bad memory, due to steel chair head shots.
He has actually commented on that, he said he uses it as a joke when he really can't remember something. He he made the comment because so many people thought he was serious.
He forgot
I think what Austin is saying is CTE is a real thing but, how heinous of a crime Benoit committed he believes Benoit did that out of his own volition and CTE shouldn’t be all to blame.
@@jjdbzfan18 thank you
That's how I took what he said too. I didn't think he was saying CTE wasn't a real thing just that he didn't believe it was a factor in the tragedy. @@jjdbzfan18
if youre gonna discuss a segment of the documentary, watch the segment first bro. you keep saying i didnt see it, then go watch it first. austin spoke for 3 seconds ffs
I believe Steve was saying he didn't believe CTE was a factor in the Benoit tragedy not that CTE doesn't exist.
Too bad he did a poor job of articulating that
hmmmm, you're making the narrative more confusing.
More like Kevin Sullivan was the contributing factor in the Benoit tragedy
@@lewieanderson6579stfu with that Bullshit you’re the type of mark that Paul heyman would embarrass at a meet and greet for trying to say “oh Chris was framed by Kevin Sullivan”
@@Lemont5236 I would blame the producers of the series for that, not Steve.
Diddler McMahon.
Either the cuts parts out of Austin's interview, which is highly likely. Or, Austin is misinformed on what CTE is.
Brian makes a great point. Thats what I was hoping this documentary would be when they announced it. I was hoping it would be about Vinces personal life, from birth to present day.
On CTE and his 3 computers... Nobody made this a hit piece except Vince. Nobody can make him look as bad as he can make him look. It's a talent.
Imagine taking chair shots to the head and tell me CTE doesn’t exist.
Austin said he doesn't believe in CTE so his perspective on anything doesn't matter to me.
It's not that Stone Cold was saying he doesn't believe CTE exists, he was saying if you are a professional then when you wrestle you don't put yourself in that situation where you are constantly getting head damage/concussions that causes CTE everytime you go in there and that he only had a concussion one time in his career when he broke his neck.
Benoit was a killer. He killed his own kid . Benoit should be forgotten. Remember the wife and child instead
Based on what I saw I think Stone cold's comments were about Benoit himself not CTE as a whole
Cant decide if the host is the actor that plays daredevil or Shawn Spears.
I think what stone cold was trying to say was that he doesn’t believe cte is the reason Benoit did what he did
Says the man who use throw chair's at ppl heads in ecw.
Chris pushes himself in the ring I’ve noticed that in his matches that they’re real impacts that he does in the ring. Vince does say it’s soap opera meaning you’re not supposed to hurt yourself serverly but some wrestlers push themselves to hurt or get concussed.
flying headbutt was his signature move. he used to even miss sometimes into a metal railing. yeah he is not taking the full impact on his head but if you watch it it just seems impossible that he's not rattling his brain.
Ashley Massaro claimed she has cte
rvd finally starting to age a little bit he looked the same for 30 years
white guys age like prunes
What the hell is that dude wearing on his head ?
Merchandise 😂😂 must be a bandana with the logo on it from the looks
Looks like wolverine on the bandana
quit hatin
I was wondering what RVD thinks about it. I tend to agree with Austin. BUT RVD came up in the time of chair shots. Wrestling shouldn't cause brain damage Chair shots definitely do
Austin came up in the time of chair shots too.
It seems weird what Austin said...
That is the bottom line because STONE COLD SAID SO.
Why? He has a right to believe what he believes.
Why is that, Karen?
Steve is right. I wish more people would listen to what he's actually saying.
I wish he would’ve better articulated his point
I dont know whats up with stone cold lately, first he turns out to be woke as hell and now this, i just hope its not the CTE doing the talking....
Woke how?
@@LHBH8 He supports gay marriage. That's somehow woke. Don't bother arguing with Stoic. He's got a brain disease.
