Yes please. I still want big games from Sony but I want smaller games too. We can have both and I think that would be something to Sony’s advantage by having casual ip that appeal to everyone and ip that target certain more “mature” audiences. Have your cake and eat it too.
For some reason "small games" became exclusive to the indie market. Imagine what an experienced developer could make when the goal is modest. I love the huge AAA titles and wouldn't want to give up on them, but I don't think we really have to. Astro bot shows that perfecting something small could lead to big things :D
@@UncleJackson yes I agree. Astro showed what a 3D platformer with a budget from Sony could do. Advancing tech and diversifying your ip is the way to go
@ i am sure it does but whatever time i have left i rather play multiplayer games with friends either on tv or monitor. The portability of handhelds makes it a lot more enticing to play single player fun games like astro bot and mario.
I think it's great when game devs take inspiration on each other. I think Sony should try something similar to Zelda, and another PSASBR. And it cuts both ways, plenty of games nowadays were influenced by TLOU. It would be cool to see Nintendo try and make some more mature titles.
This video is super well made
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!

Nintendo type games are not something i would play on a big tv. Once sony brings back the vita, bring it on!
Why not? Astro bot is a "Nintendo type game" and plays amazingly on a big TV. Same goes for pretty much every Switch game.

@@bshn10 Oh I see, if it's a time thing I can totally get it. The PlayStation Portal is a good start. I hope Sony makes a real handheld next!

Wow a Sony Zelda game could be NUTS.
And I totally agree I would love to see some more mature Nintendo games.
