I believe it will - it was referred to as “The third pillar of Atlus” like 3-4 years ago. My only fear is if the game underperforms since it doesn’t have “Persona” in the name. A lot of people in event showcases were saying “L anime game” when it was shown.

I beat it, and loved it. The job system is kind of basic, all jobs have set skills, if seeker learns tarukaja it will always have it, and how you can equip additional skills from other jobs I'm betting there's no overlap. It also has changes to the social sim elements that I hope sticks, like actually seeing how close to a stat level up you are, and what level you need for certain options. And I can confirm, it does have the p5 perk system. One "power up" I'm hoping for in the main game, gaining more slots for equipping jobs, my idea is even if it's just 3 or 4 you can freely change between those 4 even in battle, cause while skill inheritance adds some freedom, cause a job always has a set 6 skills in some ways your limited in what you have. I'm sure the freedom of options gets better as you go, but would still be nice.

I finished Metaphor's demo, where Metaphor really shines is in its concept/story, art direction and music. Where it needs the most work is in its performance on pc, where the fps would drop at character closeups and the desert area/city when angling the camera in different directions. Also I am a big fan of the ui and its look overall, but those "hand drawn" lines around text boxes sometimes make it look like the game is lagging imo and I had to check twice whether it really was or not lol. Regardless I am buying this game on release, hoping the team will fix the perfomance issues! Edit: I also forgot to mention the low res textures, it was a bit surprising to see in places, but hopefully that gets solved as well!

I put in nearly 12 hours with the demo, and absolutely loved it. Played through the optional side dungeon, and up to the stopping point of the main dungeon. Can't wait for release.
Although DLC has pros and cons compared to rereleases, most people are tired of rereleases and Atlus knows that. I think that in the coming years all Atlus games will get DLC instead of rereleases, this may change in the future but for now most people want DLC and that is probably exactly what Atlus plans to make
PLEASE let us explore and play the game freely in post game, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. completely losing the stress of having to do everything perfectly would be amazing, let us play casually and then complete all the content after the story
The whole rerlease "Issue" is only an issue because P5 royal promised a full semester, instead we got 3 weeks Most of the rerelease happen 3 years or MORE after the initial game or if we going back to the past P3 most people played FES P4 didn't have a Vita to play golden SMT Strange Journey was DS game and the rerelease came on 3DS...some people hate it and other like it P5 is the biggest offender SMT V was held down by the switch and Vengeance is just way better than Vanilla SMT V. So "Buying the same game again 3 years later" people have no right to complain when people keep buying Skyrim over and over and over, same with GTA V Plus you could just not buy the rerelease which I did for most games.

Instead of highschool or something like that, it could be really fun to have optional school settings! So instead of having overall classes like we usually have, you could decide what type of school you wanted to attend at the start of the game. Most of the mechanics would stay the same regardless of what you choose, but your school questions could depend on what school you chose... So you can have a tech school, finance, art or whatever, with just one social link tied to each unique school. We have had entirely different social links based on player preference before, so why not lean into it more if they insist on having us in school anyway, just to let us mix it up?

Going with Dlc instead of enhanced rereleases is smart. It’ll let Atlus update a game if they have more story ideas but it’ll also supposedly make persona fans happy. I’m just fearing a scenario where they announce their done with re-releases expecting that to make people happy only for people to suddenly whine about them stopping. This happened over and over with Persona 3 reload’s release and it’s freaking irritating.
I think it is 2 protags, but it is revealed that it is actually someone with multiple personality disorder. Their personas fuse for the ultimate persona, and would make for a protag with personality which fans have complained about.
I wonder if the leaks factor into the mascot of the game or will there be two mascots or a shared one? This Is an odd idea but there’s a line I believe in p3dm that might suggest at a future crow party member but jumpei in persona 3 reload also has a line where he mentions about aegis, and koromaru and mentions the idea of a gorilla persona user which may suggest a monkey mascot
Haven't finished yet, but the demo gave me the impression that it deliberately skipped stuff. If I had any real complaint, it's that I think there might be too much screen clutter.
I've played through the demo twice. Once to enjoy the story and read every bit of NPC dialogue I could find, and a second to maximize my level. My first saw me reaching level 11 and Rank 4 on Healer, while in my second playthrough I won the optional fight, got to Rank 2 Wisdom, and have my protagonist currently kitted out as a Lv 14, Rank 8 Healer. I love setting up perfect fights in this game, it's just as satisfying as it was in Octopath Traveler (1 _and_ 2).

I beat the bird human in the mines without getting hit, using two Mages and a Warrior. I decided to have Hulkenberg be my Healer this time, and managed to get her to Rank 10 while scaling the Cathedral. Got my next Seeker Quest from More (won't tell you the Archetype he wants, but I'm excited to meet them, lmao). This also increased his Follower Rank to 2, which let's the party's Seeker Archetypes have *_two_* Inherited attacks/passives. I decided on the MP boost and Blizz, though I actually used Brawler with Blizz in the Guptauros fight because I didn't have a good sword. Hulkenberg went back to being a Knight, but with Medi, and I put Strohl as a Knight as well, because two spears are better than one. I'm honestly at a point where I could just run through the Gobrons over and over for the next few hours and never run out of health or MP. The only thing holding me back from doing so is that I don't want to be overleveled for the main story stuff

Just by what I have seen in the demo, I can tell this is going to be a true epic. Especially since everything isnt even opened up by the end of the demo. And great work on that Bird. @@MidnightBlackandVictoria so, out in front of the recruitment center/cathedral, there are three small stands with shop signs on the minimap that are close to each other. One sells water, the next sells meat, and the last sells the redgrass, but he won't sell unless you're a regular, or given an invite by one. You'll need to talk to the info broker at the inn on the second night/third day at the end of the demo. And yes, it's phenomenal!!
With Silent Hill 2 coming out in a little over a week and then this game, we are being spoilt and I love it. Hoping I win a copy if atleast one of them so I don’t have to go crazy and spend too much, Black Myth, Space Marine 2, AstroBot and Zelda already took a huge chunk out of my wages and renewing my car insurance, tax and getting my MOT I’m currently feeling a little poor 😂
Dude I suggest playing and finishing up your backlogs before buying a new game. If you wait couple of months many Day 1 releases get price cuts and you can grab these game at a cheaper price later on. That's just my suggestion to save your hard earned wages, but you do you.

Persona 6 leaks go pretty well into my areas of interest as i am fascinated by the duality of old and now in the form of artistry. I just hope they don't spam it full with persona 5 stuff for the sweet money as i am honestly sick of that game. (Apologies persona 5 fans but your game and it's characters are literally everywhere, i am not saying the game is bad just that it's too much for me as in consumer fatigue related.)

I don’t know the whole story either but essentially Midori originally portrayed herself as a girl living in Japan who had insider intel on Sega / Atlus titles. I believe they were active for about a year or two leaking news before the drama began. People in the know were already aware of Midori’s identity. It’s a guy living in the states posing as a Japanese girl. As for how he got his intel I believe it was from data breeches at Atlus. I’m sure someone will correct me. There are videos on the Midori drama on RUclips if you wanted to do some research.

I won't spoil anything, but I WILL say this-DONT believe people who say its a Persona clone set to fantasy or that its a cash grab on Persona popularity, Both are untrue. After playing the demo I can honestly say it IS its "own thing", and it is every bit as epic as a JRPG should be.

Metaphor was kinda enjoyable (I was falling asleep a little bit), but it seems to be much better if it were an anime instead of a game. Can't really explain it.
I'm not sure about Metaphor. I will play it and I did enjoy the demo but some of the fantasy elements are a huge turnoff-- I was hoping the game wouldn't feel like a final fantasy game and in some ways it leans too heavy into the fantasy theme. The tutorial stuff was a little too in your face-- it didn't feel natural like with P5 where after hour 30 you were still being fed information about elements of the game as part of the story. I also do not care about ANY of the characters or the story which is a shame and will hopefully change later on. I just don't get fantasy. I want this to be DDS re-imagined (and you heard it here first-- the twist will be very similar) but we'll just have to wait and see I guess.

I have a feeling that Shiro and Kuro are dual protagonists' aliases, similar to Ren aka Joker. Perhaps, it's their nicknames idk. Only time will tell.

@@ŕíćéAvarice Yeah there are 3 teams making persona games inside atlus at the moment if i remember correctly, so the team making p6 has worked on that for a good while now.

I really am not loving the dual protagonist idea, sounds not very modern Persona like. It would work in other RPGs but not Persona.

Metaphor was kinda enjoyable (I was falling asleep a little bit), but it seems to be much better if it were an anime instead of a game. Can't really explain it.
Anybody notice there is zero anti alising? What's up with that. Every edge is constantly moving. And the fram rate seems low too.

I'm not sure about Metaphor. I will play it and I did enjoy the demo but some of the fantasy elements are a huge turnoff-- I was hoping the game wouldn't feel like a final fantasy game and in some ways it leans too heavy into the fantasy theme. The tutorial stuff was a little too in your face-- it didn't feel natural like with P5 where after hour 30 you were still being fed information about elements of the game as part of the story.
I also do not care about ANY of the characters or the story which is a shame and will hopefully change later on. I just don't get fantasy. I want this to be DDS re-imagined (and you heard it here first-- the twist will be very similar) but we'll just have to wait and see I guess.
