This is my favorite NASCAR finishes video on here. I love the older races on this video!
2:38 i saw the live and when i saw it i was so amazed and excited from it i ran around my house for 20 mins!
i did that too XDDDDD
Great ending clip. Those last 2 laps were phenomenal.
classic good old nascar photo finishes... I love 'em. :)
What about the finish in 1974 where Buddy Baker and Cale Yarborough finished so closely that both were credited with third place. I understand that it wasn't for the win, but I still think it's amazing that they were so close, it was impossible to determine who was third.
I just had a a ton of good memories come up.
6:48 is actually the closest recorded finish in NASCAR history across all levels.
Ricky Craven's win over Kurt Busch (the last video) was 0.001 sec margin of victory, which is the closest in history.
JCpatriots get yo facts straight. It was 0.002
+JCpatriots: No, it was 0.002 seconds.
Scout523: Until this year, at the Xfinity Series Powershares QQQ 300.
0.0004 seconds
Which means that the 2003 Darlington finish is not the closest finish
This is why I love NASCAR!
Rick Wilson. 206 Cup starts. That was the probably the closest he ever came to winning a Cup race. He won 2 NASCAR Busch Grand National Series races in 47 starts. I know it's Nationwide Series now but his 2 trophies still say NASCAR Busch Grand National Series.
no songs just the real thing... I LOV IT
Rip Ron Bouchard
How he pulled that win off is hilarious though
No one will ever forget what Ron Bouchard did to Darrell Waltrip and Terry Labonte
This video absolutely made my day!
2:29 is the best one :)
I miss Tide sponsorship in the Sprint Cup Series. The colors are perfect, and they're so classic, going back to the 80's to Darrell Waltrip.
Ill never forget the craven an busch finish
the 2007 daytona 500 clip is in the best quality i've ever seen on noobtube..
This is what NASCAR is all about
One of my favorite videos great job!!!
This needs an update. 😉
Man, I haven't seen many of these races. That's cool!
Awesome!
1:28 DAAAMN!! NOW THAT WAS CLOSE!
Try 5:58 & 6:54
I remember the Johnson over Labonte race at Charlotte. It shouldn't have been that close. There was a phantom caution a few laps before that allowed Johnson to get close.
That third race... that damned third race. I went to that race when I was just a little kid, and the driver of the 18 car, Bobby Labonte, was my favorite driver. I remember seeing all the sympathetic faces as I skulked back to the car with my dad carrying me on his shoulders :c
+Kevin Theel How do you think I felt/still fell about the 2007 Daytona 500...
That was not a good day for me to say the least.
badass compilation....best ive seen so far
Man, I love NASCAR.
Today's commentators are WAY more animated than the older ones.
Ron Boushard. yes. the same thing with the 2011 aarons 499, bower and gordon didn't see jimmie johnson come up the inside to beat them.
alright! what a finish
I love the pictures that you used.
Ron Bouchard: Don’t mind me Il just sneak by here
Really cool video! Thank you for leaving the original commentary
I love nascar...
Probably not, but definitely one of the few.
Love seeing the Jimmie Johnson wins again and o/c the Craven win :)
Omg that's so awesome. Makes me like NASCAR more.
Pawan M If only EVERY race had close finishes like these :)
Nathan Chambers Then they would get boring very fast.
2005 Coca-Cola 600 still leaves me sad. Bobby had that race. Always go the high side in 4 no matter what.
Yet, another spectacular video. Well done!
That Johnson beating bowyer at Talledega so should have been the last one on the video
guess you saved the best for last :0 holy crap!!!!
THere is a few of us! I prefer Touring cars (Aussie V8s, BYCC, DTM) and Sportscars (Le Mans & Grand Am) but still watch F1 & Nascar.
best video on youtube.
You should add another finish to this video, Kyle Busch over Tony Stewart at Daytona. Just happened moments ago.
Am I the only one who enjoys both Nascar and F1?...
Nope. I do, as well.
Awesome Video MarkED912
VERY VERY nice. Thanks :)
Awesome video!
However, this could use an update. Maybe add some more finishes that you might've found.
Also, NASCAR measured the Total Petroleum 200 finish at 0.001 seconds. It was mentioned in a video of the 2018 Powershares QQQ 300 finish.
Also, could you explain the situation with the 1984 Firecracker 400? My brain doesn't understand...
Bill Elliott: The Original "Mr. Where Did He Come From"
That was Bobby. I specifically remember. After that race, he got out and kicked the car. I remember.
The Closer Kevin Harvick at it again
2:55...funniest sound ever!!
I wouldn't try to determine 6:48. I would go along with the commentator and say that Miller won it by maybe an inch or two.
The BossMan78:
The record for closest finish in NASCAR probably won't be broken for (possibly) years, but time will tell.
And yes, I'm the same guy who commented.
Isn't the '81 Talladega 500 the one were DW & Terry Labonte were so focused on each other that they failed to see the guy (forget his name) that ended up beating them?
Whenever Jimmie Johnson is in a side-by-side finish, the commentators automatically yell "Jimmie Johnson!". Though it was all true that he did win those races, I noticed that on all the ones he was in.
I like the number 87 and 48
love the video
I miss Eli Gold calling NASCAR, his southern goodness shouldn't be resignated to Alabama football only. Lord only my weird ass fantasizes about a sports game called by Eli Gold and Gus Johnson, that would be heaven.
Awesome video
said :) felt happy for him.
This was inspired by yesterday's Talladega finish, wasn't it?
Lots of Daytona Finish's
It sicks that the 2005 Coca-Cola 600 was a close finish so I have to see repeatedly that Bobby lost.
6:24 the 2001 gatorade duel 2!! finally! did you found the whole video??
Why wasn't Edwards vs. Johnson - Atlanta 2005 up there?
0.002 of a second actually. 0.002 of a second at Darlington is closer that 0.002 at Talladega, though.
That was Bobby Labonte. The original #18.
@LastMartinFanLeft Precisely. Talladega is a faster track, therefore 0.002 second is a greater distance.
good video winner
no me too
who is your favourite ?
ya i also wish tide would cone back
hard to top that Craven/Bush finnish
I do!
saved the best for last!!
Doge car says: I MAKE THE BEST CAR IN AMERICA
And the dewalt one awnsers is:SCREW YOU
Where's the Edwards/Johnson Atlanta finish in 2005?
Justin LaNoue:
Towards the beginning, at 0:17.
Justin LaNoue did you watch the video.
You have to make a new one, there's been a lot more close finishes since then.
nope, i enjoy both as well!
The 1 dislike is the bored [F]"never pass"[1] fan.....
it might be argued that benson won but not sure at all
ITS LAMBONTE WOW
Way to forget the Earnhardt Sr. Jr. race at izod
@88camshaft no it was 0.002
@XxSiiCkXKiilZxX Half a second lead is an exaggeration, or else labonte would have won it for sure. The speed of the car can be fast or slow coming out of the corner depending on how you drive it and/or which side you choose- high or low. Johnson chose high, giving him the advantage over labonte, while also giving him a huge run.
4:15 - 4:21 Best One
Nemecheck... winning???
0:19 Bobby should've won.
these were the easiest wins to spot ever
god the 2007 Daytona 500 pissed me off, Martin deserved the win, not Harvick
I am pretty sure 6:55 was the closest
Why was dw screaming at the end of dega
I feel bad for bobby Labonte, every time when he in a photo finish, well.... He gets the shitty end of the stick. Thumbs up if u agree.
.0002 of a second is the closest ever!
ZedMan1996:
I know this is an age-old comment, but...
There has not been a 0.0002 second finish ever. The closest is 0.0004 seconds, though.
i think its bull**** that the scoring transponder is in the back of the cars it scews the actual time margins between the cars.....especially at the 2008 michigan truck race it was way closer than .005 secs when their noses crossed but at the rear it is clear as day it was around .005 nascar should change the placement to somewhere closer to the front of the vehicle at least at the firewall or further forward
no that was Jimmie Johnson and Bobby Labonte. It makes me physically sick to watch that lowlife win
U fogot one
If only some of these Brits knew the awesomeness of ovals -_- Time difference doesnt help with watching the races live :(
@chevyman6033 .001 was the difference
Where is Ricky Bobby's win by a finger tip at Talladega?
Not a real race, buddy...
oh Kappa
iBaconJesus more of a race than a lot of these. Buddy. Pos
6:47 Closest Finish in history of NASCAR
No, 6:20 was.
6:20 was only .005 seconds and 6:47 wasn't scored because nascar thought it wouldn't be a close finish. Both are wrong.
+Kevin Theel: I agree, that Michigan finish was much closer than 0.005 seconds.
@Jaycutz5 2001*
ESPN and TNT commentators need to stop acting like robots and get some emotion
