why are half the highlightrs her trying to catch up to guys running then her jumping in on the tackle when the guy is on the way down. Half these arent even highlights
you forgot to mention being the last one downfield on kickoffs and dropping terrible passes that should have been interceptions
This girl ain’t good, she is hitting the person when they are already going down. I think the college that drafted her only got her for attention for their school, she is no good, a pass hit her in the hands and she dropped it. She definitely won’t make it in college!

AND THEY NEVER SHOWED HER MAKING AN ONE ON ONE OPEN FIELD TACKLE!
PLUS, she is playing free safety. Notice she never attacks the play/player. She backs up until the play is almost over THEN comes in and lays down. Truly sad.
Now, I'm not hating on her. I am a 52 yr old black male. Do she know if she were to play major college football, not to mention NFL, she is going to end up seriously injured/paralyzed/or even end up dying on the field? This is the true reality of what would happen to her.

I play JV high school football. Two girls joined our team for summer practice this year. They failed to bench the bar, stopped halfway through conditioning warmups, made fun of the other players, and quickly got kicked off. I overheard the coaches saying that it wasn't because they were making fun of others, but just the fact that they would die within minutes of seeing the field.

Division one College? No. She wouldn't even make the practice team. NFL? Not a chance. No, I'm not basing my response on the fact she is a woman. Hell, I hope I'm wrong. I'm basing my opinion strictly on talent level and athleticism. She's not fast enough or strong enough. She always seems to be trailing the play. She never stopped anyone cold. She just dragged them down from behind basically after yards gained and with help. A decent running back would break her, shaker, or both. What an inspiring story though.

I knew a guy in high school who played football... he was fast but only 5'6" and 125 sopping wet. Our running backs were both over 6' and weighed around 200 lbs. This guy wound up with a broken arm, a broken wrist, and ligaments torn in both knees in three years... knocked unconscious several times and never finished a season. It was a annual thing to bet whether James would make it to the third game of the season... he never did. There are times when nature is against you and there ain't a damn thing you can do about it.

The highlights I saw on the news were much better and actual plays. I respect the fact that she put in the work, winter workouts, practice sessions from 2 a days to in season scout reports and whatever her school did but it means she put in the work, have some respect but guessing most of you don’t know about that just judge from couch! And so what she’s doesn’t have sick highlight film that’s not point, she had decent technique as safety and on kickoff had nose for the ball out of 11 she was in on tackle in a college game she gets my respect ! She does not need to play on a men's team. She may know the game but it's obviously not at par with college-level play please stop ruining the game

Let me say this. If women truly want to play football, hundreds and thousands of them need to band together and form their own professional leagues. If football is what they want to do for a career, they should go ahead.
In this case, Toni Harris needs to step up her game by leaps and bounds if she's ever going to get anywhere near the NFL. She's nowhere near as aggressive as she needs to be on the field to warrant a look. She lacks so much aggression. For starters, she needs to actually "tackle" the ball carrier convincingly for scouts to take her seriously. Tackling doesn't mean falling onto the ball carrier after he's already taken down. Scouts need to see her wrap her arms around the carrier and take him down. Otherwise, these highlights are just false hype.

I will absolutely give her props, she has good football awareness and athleticism... However, her subpar speed and tackling ability are going to eliminate any chance of her playing at a higher level. That being said you have to respect what she's been able to do, she's better than your average man.

I gave you 3 minutes and you couldn't show me even one solo tackle. Every tackle was her falling into someone already being tackled except for the one where the dudes own teammate cause a tackle out of bounds. The one pic shown should have been returned 100 yards for a TD.

For the young lady, cant be mad at her, she didnt force anyone to give her a scholarship...she should happily take it.
Whoever gave the scholarship - that's a foul. There's plenty of other athletes that deserved the reward. We're all here excited to see something amazing just to feel let down.

I saw one play where she actually covered someone. All her “tackles” were done by someone else or the two- four of them all tackled the ball carrier. Was she really a starter? Something tells me she’s let a lot of big plays go.
