NYC Subway: 8 Car R160 63 St Shuttle Ride with New S Program

- Here we see a look at the new Shuttle Program which was created for the 63 St Tunnel General Order. Most of the times it will use the "F Shuttle" program as that is what was chosen to designate this route as. However one day the crews signed it up as this new Shuttle program. It is unknown why it was decided to not use this program, but it would fit more as this is not the full F Line route. Enjoy!

Believe it or not, this S program was used again on October 20th, 2023.
Was the transfer at 21st-Queensbridge recently made or was it just spliced?
Recent.. there were never any other transfers at Queensbridge prior to this service change

Is this line labeled as a shuttle or F?! They seem to do both!
Internally it’s the F but there’s no guidance to what should be displayed on the train.
They can add the G train to queens blvd line
I dont think so
They don't have enough train crews to do that and the wait would be way too long because the route is just being made even longer.
@@realAutoman I think the G train should be where it is now. It is not a good route to add in the queens blvd line plus the 5 car R160 G train will be crazy in the morning. I agree with you

they’re rebuilding the track foundations for 63rd Street since they’ve been in heavy use for 30 years. the concrete is showing signs of cracks and possibly structural damage.
