    Really nice repaint, turned that dead chicken into a lovely character mask which I'm sure will be the 'piece de resistance' to the entire costume. Love it!

    Never thought one of those cheapo Halloween masks could end up looking so good!

    I had a bossk rubies mask and poured smoothcast 65d resin in it and it made a perfect bossk helmet. Slushcasted it right in the mask. You could do it to this and it will never flop around. Good job painting looks way better.

    The Plo Koon mask itself isn't so bad, the only problem imo is the fact that it's floppy and.. slightly red for some reason.
    Excellent job salvaging the mask, definitely a sleeper for an aspiring Plo Koon cosplayer. It's always a relief to see how good these masks can become with a bit of tlc.

      Thank you! Yeah it really wasn't too bad to wear either.

    Great looking mask! It was obviously quite a lot of work but the end result! Fabulous!

    A dead chicken XD Love what you did with this mask. It's looked totally crappy out of the factory, but you turned it into a really nice looking mask. Well done! Also, good job on the videos... I love the little bloopers and weirdness at the end lol.

    Really interesting to see how you did this Dan. I am considering a Greedo costume at the moment so I may use some of your ideas if I go for it. Can I ask, did adding the latex lighten the paint colour at all?

      Thank you :P No, it looks lighter when you mix it, but the liquid latex dries pretty much clear, so it all darkens down when dry.

    OK so after May 4th this year I wanted to do plo and I've just ordered the mask, I hope you don't mind but I've used alot of your videos as references and I hope I can look half as good as you! Can't find the dobby gloves anywhere now though so I'm baffled on the hands 😭

      I'm glad the videos can help 🙂 it is tricky when they stop making things like that

    Could you do a video showing the internal structure of the mask? Also what glue did you use? Thanks!

    • @BucketheadStudios
      @BucketheadStudios  4 года назад

      Afraid I sold this costume, but was a plastic eye mask glued in with superglue, and a piece of abs cut to the front respirator shape to add structure there

    What do I have to do if I don’t have a airbrush?

    • @BucketheadStudios
      @BucketheadStudios  4 года назад

      I think for the best effect an airbrush is recommended. You can pick them up with a compressor pretty cheaply on Amazon. It could certainly be hand painted, but would take more time and subtlety to get a similar effect

      Buckethead Props thank you very much for your answer. I’m looking forward to make a plo koon outfit as well. Thanks to your tutorials it a should be a lot easier

    What kind of glue did you use?

    • @BucketheadStudios
      @BucketheadStudios  3 года назад

      Can't quite remember. For the outside parts I think it was CA glue, for the inside I think it was hot glue
