  • We got our hands on the brand new Toyota C-HR. Because we already have a launch review video of the vehicle itself, we decided to have a look at the Toyota Touch 2 System within the C-HR. The multimedia system itself is available on all new Toyota C-HR cars to the Irish market, but only the highest trim, SOL, gets Toyota Touch 2 system with Go navigation and Wi-Fi as standard. Of course, hoooking up with wi-fi makes the system far more intuitive. Our favourite app within the car was AHA - which we've seen before in many Mazda vehicles.

    Τhanks for the video! There are Toyota Touch 2, Toyota Touch & Go, and Toyota touch & Go plus in my country. Is this the simple version of Toyota Touch 2, or a higher?
    Thank you!

    T-Connect multi-media system on the Japan models. Depends on what country they ship to I guess as to which system is put in or standard. I'm just trying to figure out what I can do with my HDMI connection.

    The information is not correct, must be specified that the infotainment is not Toyota Touch 2 but Toyota Touch 2 & GO or Toyota Touch 2 & GO Plus, because with Toyota Touch 2 none of this thing are possibile.

      +legit player I'm assuming so. We're just out of a plug-in Prius (infotainment and full review coming soon) with the same system and that had tomtom as standard. I hope this helps.

      of all the non available options in a car now-a-days.
      I mean shit I had a 2013 ATS that brand new off the line with options was $54,000 didn't come stock with navigation. you think at this point navigation would be standard considering you can add it into most cars with about $400.

    Can anyone tell me why a random song from my Apple Music library starts playing whenever I connect my phone via iPod. I would rather use Spotify but it doesn’t give me a chance to choose a song before a random song starts playing.

      Car Buyers Guide the stereo system doesn’t have Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM or Pandora Radio. Navigation system is also not available. Anyone buying a C-HR would probably go to Best Buy and swap it out with a stereo containing all those features. AWD, manual transmission isn’t available and just one engine choice.

    • @Cerby1979
      @Cerby1979 6 лет назад +1

      Even without all the features mentioned, it still goes for around $24,000 for the base XLE model and around $26,000 for XLE Premium which includes power folding mirrors, power lumbar on the manual seat, fog lights, and push button start.

      Tom Chan in this system, the nav is necessary as per usual, what the internet does is it allows the traffic information to update.

    i didn't bought this car because of this system. It's 2017 almost 18 and I don't want another laggy system in my life. We have our Android phones or iPhones now and Android Auto or Car Play both works perfectly. It's a pity that companies are thinking that way still when we have such options to try force us to use old systems that make no sense any more...
    Sorry Toyota, until you go the modern, today way I'm not interested.

      Indeed. I'm from Italy. This system is really useless also with navigator. Why pay more than 100€ for map update if exist Google Maps? Really sadness. No Android auto, no MirrorLink. Simply a bad and closed system. I think to remove and put a dasaita.

    • @dontamisto
      @dontamisto Год назад

      @@SalvatoreNoschese-it I'm thinking it too. Have you done it? How much did it cost, was it easy? What about reverse camera and steering wheel controllers, did they work after?

  • @konsul2006
    @konsul2006 5 лет назад +1

    Really misses the mark when they can't provide android auto, apple carplay or mirrorlink. I find most of the features useless. Aha radio? What about other streaming services? Guess you'll have to stick with streaming over bluetooth from the phone.
