a have CHR for a year and was never a problem, but recently i realised that Favorite contacts are not showing any more on a screen, in fact when i try to add them again, they not exist on the phone contact list-so its kinda annoying----anyone can advise here please or how to contact TOYOTA ??? thx
Τhanks for the video! There are Toyota Touch 2, Toyota Touch & Go, and Toyota touch & Go plus in my country. Is this the simple version of Toyota Touch 2, or a higher? Thank you!
+legit player I'm assuming so. We're just out of a plug-in Prius (infotainment and full review coming soon) with the same system and that had tomtom as standard. I hope this helps.
The information is not correct, must be specified that the infotainment is not Toyota Touch 2 but Toyota Touch 2 & GO or Toyota Touch 2 & GO Plus, because with Toyota Touch 2 none of this thing are possibile.
i didn't bought this car because of this system. It's 2017 almost 18 and I don't want another laggy system in my life. We have our Android phones or iPhones now and Android Auto or Car Play both works perfectly. It's a pity that companies are thinking that way still when we have such options to try force us to use old systems that make no sense any more... Sorry Toyota, until you go the modern, today way I'm not interested.
Indeed. I'm from Italy. This system is really useless also with navigator. Why pay more than 100€ for map update if exist Google Maps? Really sadness. No Android auto, no MirrorLink. Simply a bad and closed system. I think to remove and put a dasaita.
@@SalvatoreNoschese-it I'm thinking it too. Have you done it? How much did it cost, was it easy? What about reverse camera and steering wheel controllers, did they work after?
T-Connect multi-media system on the Japan models. Depends on what country they ship to I guess as to which system is put in or standard. I'm just trying to figure out what I can do with my HDMI connection.
Car Buyers Guide the stereo system doesn’t have Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM or Pandora Radio. Navigation system is also not available. Anyone buying a C-HR would probably go to Best Buy and swap it out with a stereo containing all those features. AWD, manual transmission isn’t available and just one engine choice.
Even without all the features mentioned, it still goes for around $24,000 for the base XLE model and around $26,000 for XLE Premium which includes power folding mirrors, power lumbar on the manual seat, fog lights, and push button start.
Really misses the mark when they can't provide android auto, apple carplay or mirrorlink. I find most of the features useless. Aha radio? What about other streaming services? Guess you'll have to stick with streaming over bluetooth from the phone.
Can anyone tell me why a random song from my Apple Music library starts playing whenever I connect my phone via iPod. I would rather use Spotify but it doesn’t give me a chance to choose a song before a random song starts playing.
So this will work in a 2018 chr
dude you didnt show the vehicle settings such as interior and exterior lights settings???
Hello!nice video!
I have a 2017 Toyota chr hybrid and I don’t have car play and navigation!
How can I install?
only for 2019+ models , trend and lounge are updates of software and can integrate car play

Car Buyers Guide Alright, Looking forward to your review :)
+legit player hopefully the infotainment review will be ready first. It should be edited this week.
legit player No it’ doesn’t I just bought the premium so you have to use your phone gps
Wait so I have to use mobile data to play music on it even if I have downloaded music ?

+Luka sorry Luka. We'll know for the next one.

I bought the car. That multimedia screen was the worst piece of tech ive touched in years.
@@phobia9358 Except the JBL premium audio system isn't

Can you use spotify with it?
Please review other car navigation / entertainment system.
+Muliawan Chandra thanks for the comment. We'll be doing that from now on.
I bought a CHR in the US but it doesn't have these many features
What's missing? It's not unusual for different countries getting different specs - but wouldn't it be nice if we all got top spec!

@@Cerby1979 Sooooooo True💕
So we do not need the Nav sys in the car anymore, since the info sys will retrieve the google map from yr phone.
Tom Chan in this system, the nav is necessary as per usual, what the internet does is it allows the traffic information to update.

Thanks for the video. Stupid question but who pays for the wifi access? Is it a monthly charge? Thanks.
+Kevin Harris We were tethering from our own phone so we'd pay our usual phone bill.
good review but it looks a right mess. android auto is far better
+Paul Phillips thanks Paul.
2:12 JFK DRIVE 💀💀💀
Anyone else got blinded by that insanely annoying white transition screens?
Awful instructions and zero guidance as to how to program in destination address and start and stop. Awful!!
Horrible video description!
